Best Western Milton Hotel - Milan

According to benefit a great hotel. Nice breakfast. 20 min walk to Metro. Rooms comfortable. Cooler well.

For the price it was ok. When I arrived the Receptionist checked me in whilst on the phone, although she was pleasant and friendly. Breakfast quality only average. It was cold in Milan and the bedroom was cold in the evenings. I had to leave the fan heater on all night which gave me dry lips!

We were very pleased with our stay, the hotel is very near to Linate airport to where we flew into Milan. The hotel was quitely situated up a side road, clean and staff helpful and friendly. We were attending a gig at Alcatraz which is literally under 10 minute walk. I would not hesitate booking up this hotel again

The Hotel offers gret rates and in the same time the level of service is high enough. Good , rich breakfast, clean and good looking rooms. I would definetely use this hotel again ;)

Been here twice in one month. Staff is professional and helpful. Room is clean but has overpowering perfume. Comfortable beds, reasonably new carpet and fittings. Breakfast is all you can eat with huge variety of choices, but taste-wise quite bland. Located quite far away from centre of Milan but still conveniently located for public transport. About […] 10-15min walk from Lancetti station or 5-10mins to bus stop (90 or 91) to and from city centre. Travel by public transport to and from city centre is about 20mins, depending on if you take the bus or metro, metro needs changing, usually at Garibaldi. NOTE: the neighbourhood is not the best especially at night, OK for daytime. Definitely NOT recommended for single female to walk from bus stop or metro back to the hotel at night, taking a taxi should be OK. I loved this hotel. The staff where friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet great, location is good if you're up for walking and the room was fantastic. One problem I had and it might just have been us, I was eaten alive by mosquitoes and possibly bed bugs, I woke up with bumps everywhere and told hotel staff about it but didn't see what was done […] about it as it was the end of our stay. Only stayed here a night, general experience was good. The route to the hotel from the nearest station isn't very nice, lots of pee stains, etc but the hotel was good.

Upon check-in, the male staff that served us had some attitude problems. Asked him for a city map and he gave a face. I believe reception is important as it is often the first impression to guests. Neighbourhood is filled with suspicious characters and path to hotel is the most uneven and smelly. Distance: 15 minutes walk from metro. (after 10 minutes […] metro from Central Milan station). Great cafe and a spectacular breakfast buffet that is unusual in Milan or most of Italy. A delicious doner kebap is nextdoor and the sandwhiches there are top quality. It is a 5 min walk to the yellow line subway which can quickly get you to the centrale train station where you can transfer to the other subway lines or the regional trains to get around […] Europe. Was a bit further than we had anticipated from center of the city, and parking is $30/day which I didn't know about. Other than that, elevator was broken as well from parking to lobby so luggage had to be carried up a few flights. Room was basic, our tv didn't work when we arrived, eng came right away to fix. It Was only a night but the staff made us feel like we were staying a week even making sure we had a little something to take with us at 5AM upon our departure. ~Lydell

The hotel was in an awful location, many walls with graffitti. In fact, after checking in. I realised I myself could really not remain at the hotel. We moved to a different hotel witihout even spending the night. I think when we saw someone come down to the reception to obtain extra towels..i knew we could not stay there. the hotel dose not provide kettle in room, when I asked for a kettle, they gave me a cup of hot water (I only noticed there were some unknown bits floating on the water when I drank it) and I have been told 'we do not provide kettle, if a cup of hot water is not enough, please come down again'. My room is on Six floor!!

+ cleanliness and fantastic breakfast

Only 3 stations from the central station with the metro, 8 min walk from metro. Quiet area but didn't have much to offer. The aircondition didn't work properly so the room was a bit warm. Lovely breakfast tho and I'd stay here again.

The hotel is very nice. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great as well! The only issue I had was the location of the hotel. It was about a ten or fifteen minute walk from the metro which was no problem except when we had to take our bags back and forth.

Good hotel. Clean, comfortable and big room. Delicious breakfast. Low price. Internet can NOT be visited in the room. I reported the problem but no one fixed it even after ten days when I left. In the evening many guests have to take laptop and go down to the hall to visit web.

The receptionest Luca was aazin and helped our group a lot

The hotel is good value, although it is a bit far from public transportation. In good weather, the distance is not too bad. In bad weather, it could be a bit inconvenient. The neighborhood is O.K. Generally speaking we think we get our money's worth, and would recommend it to economically conscious families.

As two young fit backpackers we don't mind a walk however this hotel is further from the centre of Milan than the website indicates. The room was comfortable and the staff were friendly. Probably a good destination for those visting Milan on business rather than leisure.

The Milton is pretty good for the price you paid, the only thing is that if you don't have a car or ask for a taxi I don't recommend walking through the neighborhood. We had a rental car but since we have heard the problem of parking in Italy we decided to take the metro to see the Milan duomo, we walked two street and we walked back to the hotel and […] went by car which prove to be pretty difficult to find a parking space but we felt safer by doing that. The hotel room was like a regular room and very spacious. The Milan duome is beautiful and magnificent and it is a must see attraction in Milan. Devamı

Good price, best breakfast buffet ever. But the hotel should warn tourists about the Metro.

The hotel is tucked away in a small lane away from the noise and hustle and bustle of the main street, which, is only a 2-minute walk. The room was spacious, very clean, and had a welcome feel to it. Nuestra estancia en el hotel fue buena, lo mejor la habitación y el baño. Esta bastante retirado pero bien conectado con el centro. El servicio de internet gratuito no funcionaba y no nos supieron dar respuesta favorable. Hotel molto ben tenuto e pulito. Personale cordiale. Camere comode e pulite. Non buonissimo il disinfettante che usano per pulire il bagno, ma a livello di pulizia non c'è che dire. Ottima colazione, abbondantissima. Consiglio di non farla troppo tardi perchè tendono a non rifornirla esageratamente. Parcheggio interrato a pagamento. Situato in un quartiere […] non esageratamente bello, ma direi nella norma. 700-800 metri dalla metropolitana e 600-700 dall'Alcatraz (ottimo per i concerti). Consigliato! Devamı

Molto silenzioso! Le camere sono grandi e i letti king size. I bagni sono di giuste dimensioni. Inoltre le camere ai piani alti consentono di godere di un bel panorama del quartiere circostante. La colazione è a buffet di buona qualità. La rete wi-fi è gratis con user e password da chiedere alla reception. Il giudizio complessivo è molto positivo!

The hotel is situated in the northwest part och Milan, close to public transport stations The underground (yellow line) , will take you from Maciachini to Milano centrale train station and to the city centre Duomo

O hotel está localizado muito longe das atrações turísticas e, para alcançarmos o metrô é necessário andar, no mínimo uns 900 metros. À noite este percurso não deve ser realizado uma vez que os arredores são muito mal iluminados e sem qualquer segurança. O hotel, em geral, é muito mal conservado, com móveis antigos e descacados, cortinas em péssimo […] estado, sem frigobar no quarto ou qualquer outro tipo de conforto. O quarto estava limpo, mas com muito cheiro de desinfetante exalando do carpete antigo e mal conservado. Não há carregadores de malas. O café da manhã foi a única surpresa boa, já que diante do estado geral do hotel não se esperava muita coisa e havia uma grande variedade de itens, apesar de faltarem frutas. Det var långt ifrån fyra stjärnor. Man brukar få mycket mer från Best Western i Sverige. Kolla noga att AC fungerar för att det gjorde inte i flera rum. Annars personalen var trevliga och hjälpsamma. Frukost var också ganska bra. För de pengarna så är det ganska bra boende i MILANO.

El hotel se ubica en una zona de inmigrantes árabes y asiáticos, pero yo regresé a las 12 de la noche y no pasó nada. Tiene WIFI gratuito. Останавливалась в этом отле в апреле 2011г.Отель удачно расположен:до метро 10 минут, пешком,до центрально вокзала одну или две остановки проехать на метро.Комнаты в отеле просторные и удобные.Хорошипй завтрак.Неподалеку имеется продуктовый супермаркет с хорошим ассортиментом продуктов.Также в окресностях есть китайский ресторан,где можно недорого пообедать […] или поужинать.В номере убирали каждый день.Считаю, что полностью соответствует описанию. Nous avons été très surpris du prix demandé pour notre chien 30 euros pour une nuit. il ne l'on même pas nourrit pour le prix, en suisse cela me coûte 14 CHS maximum dans les hôtels 4 à 5 étoiles. Le déjeuné est médiocre. Bref non dans le Milton je n'y retournerais pas. Le pris préférentiel que l'on a eu a été récupéré sur l'animal et la médiocrité […] du déjeuné. Devamı

Et dejligt hotel med aflåst P-kælder. Tæt på metroen, så man let kommer til centrum.

Dårlige Engelsk kunnskaper . Noen dager var de sene med å fikse rommene ,langt ut på ettermiddagen . Frokosten grei nok . Dyr taxi til flyplassen 90 euro ca 50 km ,kanskje normalt ,fikset taxi og buss selv . Hilsen Terje
