Econo Lodge Fredericksburg - Fredericksburg

Very friendly front desk, offered to allow us into our room early but wasn't quite ready. Did allow us to store our motorcycle luggage on the inside during a brief storm and while we rode town to look around. Bed was little "bouncey" for me but wife had not problems with it. Nice, clean affordable and convenient - most of what I look for.

We found our rooms to be clean and quiet for sleeping.The employees were very friendly and helpful.Our only complaint was the beds.They were very hard and uncomfortable.

Over all the stay was pleasent. However... Maybe there is a problem with bugs, my sleep was Interrupted by a beetle crawling up my leg. I was terrified! Once my spouse discarded the beetle, i had good nights rest. Beetles are to be expected in East Texas.

Our room was clean and the service was friendly which is at the top of what we look for. It's not too expensive and close enough to downtown if you don't mind walking a few minutes to get there. However, we did not get much sleep because the mattresses were so hard and uncomfortable. It literally felt like we were sleeping on a box spring. Although an older motel, it was VERY clean and spacious. About the only negative was that their breakfast was lacking - only breakfast pastries, juices, & milk.

Better than I expected for the price. Not the best bed I've slept in, but certainly not the worst.

nice clean quiet place to stay. No railway tracks in the back alley as a lot of hotels seem to have. Marked this as one to stay at again.

Very good hotel for the price. We stayed there twice and it was always very clean, no noise at all, very nice staff and the price is really good. I definitely recommend this hotel

Our room smelled like smoke. (suppose to be smoke free) Cracks in the ceiling, and rotting walls in rest rooms. Place needs remodeling bad.

Super nice folks,, vert accomadting, NOT A COMPLAINT ,,, but the bed was less than desireable,,, but the management more than made up for it, We have already recommended it to friends and relatives.

This hotel was old and run down. Not the cleanest. The beds were very old and very pain inspiring. I should have stayed at the Hampton or La Quinta!!

Location was excellent for all the sites, shops, etc. Nothing wrong with the pricing of room. The hotel itself probably needs an upgrade as far as mattresses (like sleeping on a cardboard box) seriously! Ants were in the room furnished coffee maker :>(

Very nice inn. Nice staff.

The air conditioning in the room was not working properly. When I spoke to the lady at the front desk all she said was "Sorry." She didn't even try to fix the problem or compensate us in anyway for having to sleep in a hot room all night.

Room was kind've well worn, but clean. Pool was not--- a big disappointment, as we brought our swimsuits knowing it was going to be in the 90's. Looked like a nice pool, but there was a layer of black dirt on much of the bottom, and the water was kind of off-colored. Not very inviting, but could have been with a simple cleaning. this hotel was right down the street from the hospital....it was clean and well lit...we came and went at all hours of the day and night...I felt safe when my husband stayed at the hospital....it also had a little sign hanging out fron texan owned and texan ran...It was nice to support local......

7:30 is awfully late to wait for coffee even on a weekend and the eating area was too small. but it was a nice clean place

The customer service was EXCELLENT. The only gripe we had is there was no hot water Sunday night and Monday morning. Other than that it was a good experience.

Very nice sttaff and very close to mainstreet where you will find lots of shopping and eateries.

Great group of people.

For 2 persons the room is is perfect; my husband and I stayed just one night and the place thas all the basics: bed, AC, tv, bathroom. Great service for the money. At least it does not share bathrooms like in NYC. Definitely, will stay again.

well...for the price of a double queen, we got checked in went to room and they were just then cleaning it out told us to come back, while we were backing up one of the "maids" took her sleeping toddler from the room...pictures on the internet make it look nicer than when you get there. front desk personnel were awesome.

Remember when you used to drive right up to the door of your room? (and the motel was a one story building like a "motor motel") Remember when the ice maker was in the hotel office? Remember how the window unit Air Conditioner made a noise all night that drummed out the noise of your neighbor entering, or leaving their room? It's a room liked you stayed […] in 40 years ago - literally. They've probably painted since then, maybe put in some new carpet - but the bedspread could be the same one from 20 yrs ago. Take your own pillow! The room was clean, the AC was cold. The front desk closes at 9 pm...and opens at 7:30 in the morning - you gotta' love it. Pleasant stay. Devamı

wonderful people at this hotel, our shower didn't work properly and they fixed it the same day. You will be welcomed with a smile and a great attitude.

Great little motel in Fredericksburg. Very clean, great location and staff was friendly and courteous. I will stay here every time I come back. Asked for late check-out and was accommodated. Front desk knew local attractions and could inform us of when and where to go. A great experience. More like a B&B than a motel! Felt like home.

Everything was great; except, the pool. My grandson and I wanted to take a dip; however, the pool was very dirty and the desk clerk didn't know anything about the cleaning schedule or if there was one--the manager was gone for a week.

When we compared the EconoLodge motel rate with others in Fredericksburg we feel that we got a good bargain for our money. The motel manager was very friendly and helpful.

Quiet location. Good Econolodge value. AC worked, but loud. Low quality box and mattress making bed uncomfortable, however we moved to a different room for the second night and were more comfortable. Still the beds should be upgraded. Nice people at the front desk. We will stay again.

They buy their pastries from local German bakery. Very good. Also very clean & professional.

Nice to have car a few steps from the room; parking lot well lit and safe; wireless internet did not work in my room - too far from the lobby; computer with internet available for use in lobby; breakfast food included good German pastry, bagels, and fruit only; room smelled slightly of disinfectant; premises clean but aged; temperature control good; […] clean mattress and box; few blocks from Main Street shopping. You get what you pay for! Room was perfect for what I needed except for the bed. It was the worst bed I have ever slept in. Back hurt for 2 days after sleeping in this bed.

I booked this room 15 minutes before my arrival at the hotel. The lovely lady at the desk had my paperwork and key waiting. For the price of the room, I don't think you could expect a lot more. I would recommend this hotel to those on a tight budget. It's not luxurious, but it has everything you need, and is clean and very close to E. This hotel is very clean, nice people, great pool, easy to find and less than 5 mins from downtown! Great for the value..

Realizing where you are staying and the price you are paying, I was pleasantly surprised by the value for the money. The staff was courteous, prompt and efficient. Certainly not a luxury resort, but well worth the money.
