The hotel was disgusting. Dirty, dirty, dirty. It made my skin itch. FYI...if you have kids, pool only open from 3-10:00, I never got to see it but not sure if I would've let the kids swim in it anyway based on everything else I saw.

nice location being right off the highway and once the casino opens that will be great!. However the hallway walls could use some work,the bottoms of the wallpaper were peeling. Good value for money but fitness room has no treadmill and not open early morning (available 10-10), room door rattled every time someone nearby closed their room door, security lock on door non-functional, no-one at front desk to answer the phone after 11pm when I called. There was also some kind of party in an adjacent room and lots of noise and sounds […] of glass breaking one night that spilled out into the parking lot area. Police were called and there was more noise as the issue was being dealt with. Lots of noise later as well for the glass cleanup late that night. I stayed in my room as it seemed not safe to venture out during this episode but was otherwise OK. Adjacent Mexican restaurant was good and had relatively fast service. Devamı

Good location to downtown. We had a problem with a collapsed bed, left a note for the maid and it was immediately replaced. Room clean. Hotel was a bit noisy on highway side so ask to stay on residential side. Pool was huge but VERY cold also there were 2 adults and 2 kids but we could only have 3 wrist bands to go swimming with. our room trash containers were not empty they had trash in them. food crumbs under our bed. soap opened in the bathroom. No shampoo. Heard maids talking about it they dont hire more workers they were going to quit and we heard them talk for hours. the pool was the only thing good except for the creepy lawnscapers peeking at us outside the pool

Hotel stated it was newly remodeled but they should have said when. The condition of the hotel was terrible. Security door did not lock. The drapes on the window were falling apart. The hotel had a musty smell. The continental breakfast was terrible. I can't believe the people who gave this hotel a good rating.

This hotel is set in a neighborhood that is not safe. It looks as if it is under major construction, it is NOT clean. My skin felt dirty just by being there. Several of the bathrooms looked dirty. Because of this, i did not feel comfortable sleeping. I wish this hotel luck but because it was so affordable, there were people there that I did not feel […] safe being around. I would highly suggest that they close, reconstruct to higher standards then have a grand re-opening with slightly higher prices to attract people that expect quality service. However... The neighborhood is just that... hood. So it works for some but just not for me. I would never stay there again. The hotel was undergoing an update. everything was nice and clean. the restraunt was great and the continental breakfast was good.Staff was friendly.

If you are looking for a really nice hotel look elsewhere. But, if you just want a cheap hotel near downtown Toledo that is in decent shape then stay here. One morning the bathtub drain had backed up but was fixed within an hour. The hotel was mostly clean. Did not get a chance to use the pool as the hours were only 3pm-10pm, which is kind of ridiculous […] (who is actually in the hotel in that timeframe?). Though who knows how crappy the pool really is so maybe it wouldn't matter, could be a blessing in disguise. The fitness center had a bench, a bike, and a plate weight machine, but didn't look very impressive at all. Overall this hotel is very mediocre but we liked the location and the price can't be beat. The Days Inn was in the middle of a remodel. The room I paid for was being carpeted so it was unavailable. I went from a king size room to a double. The pool was COLD!!!!! There wasn't enough towels for all the guest in the hotel. I was told it wouldn't be until after 10am that I got a clean towel. House cleaning didn't leave us any toilet paper and […] we had to go the desk and ask for it. The staff was sitting around drinking coffee. Staff was smoking in lobby were it was clearly posted no smoking. A homeless guy came in the dining area and helped himself to breakfast. He loaded up with food and left. VERY poor service!!!!! First, they offer a indoor pool. I actually called Hotels.com to ensure the pool was opened. They said YES. OK- At 10am we found that the pool hours were 3-11! With kids 3pm is like torture! We waited until 3 and he pool is in a pool house however the floor was as frozen as the ground outside, the temp in the pool house was a balmy 48 degrees! It was […] so cold in the pool house the cold pool water was actually creating steam which condensed on the ceiling and causing cold drops of water to fall down on you! Disappointing! We found a piece of mystery meat in one of the beds, looked like old sausage from a pizza, gross!!! The apples at the continental breakfast we wrinkled. Do you know how long it takes for an apple to wrinkle. DO NOT STAY HERE. NOT WORTH ANY of your hard earned money. Devamı

Staff was friendly and room was clean. But cold no heat until you turn it on yourself. One room had bed on a wheels and it collapsed and they moved us to a nicer room with a real frame. Needs new fixtures in bathroom but all in all worth the money.

Worst hotel ever in the worst city ever. Sleeping on the streets might be nicer.

this is an ok hotel for the price u cant go wrong as for yje location not the greatest plus hotel needs some work but u can tell that they r trying very hard i look for this to be a real nice hotel in the near future

You get what you pay for. Not the cleanest hotel, but our room was fine. Not far from Toledo downtown, but not the greatest neighborhood. Attached Mexican Restaurant is good.

This hotel is in a great location but... it is filthy and in desperate need of remodeling.

Price was excellent... The Pool was cold, and the hallway and rooms smelled funny, But they are doing renovations so hopefully things will improve

I chose this hotel because I wanted to be near the Amtrak station. A mistake. The hotel was scary. The outside doors to the hotel were unlocked--I asked the front desk to fix it, and all they did was pull the cinderblocks (!?!) out that were propping the doors open-they couldn't lock the doors. In any area, this would be a concern, but in a seedy area, […] even more so. Broken down cars in the parking lot, outside of building was run down/dumpy. Common areas/halls dirty with torn furniture. Rooms needed to be vacuumed. We had 2 rooms--my brother had to change his room twice (broken deadbolt and broken chain on first room, second room had no power in bathroom/no lights. Not near any kind of restaurant or fast food without getting on the highway or driving several miles through crummy areas. Hotel undergoing renovation, so maybe things will be better in a year or 2 when that's done (there is a casino being built across the street). In the meantime, ugh. Devamı

Nice facility, good breakfast but looking shabby; particularly the yard. The sliding doors were dirty, and the lower lobby had an smell of pet urine. The staff seemed very pleasant and helpful.

The hotel was clean. General hotel spaces were on the warm side. When we got to our room, it was hot and stuffy and took time to cool down, while we were out. There was no TV remote control and the one we were given didn't work. The room "keys" kept failing and we had to get them re programmed several times. There was no milk or eggs for the breakfast […] Sunday morning because they order was never delivered the previous day. My main concern was the lack of maintenance in the pool area--this part of the hotel was basically a dump. The outside of the hotel was also poorly maintained. The room itself was good, and the rate was reasonable, but the pool experience ruined the stay for us.

I would not reccomend staying at the Days Inn Toledo to anyone. The hotel was old and run down. While walking down the hall to our room we passed by dirty boxers and trash lying in the hallway. Also, when we first parked our vehicle and started to unload a car drove directly behind us very slowly and stopped but did not park -- making us feel very uncomfortable […] and little concerned for our safety. However, we soon realized the driver of the car was there (at 12:30am) to meet a 'young lady'. The room was decently clean but smelled strongly of cigarette smoke despite being non-smoking. To top off the stay, in the morning when my boyfriend used the toilet the handle snapped when he attempted to flush it and would not flush -- upon lifting the lid off the back of the toilet to see if he could fix it he found and ID and credit card floating in the back toilet tank. The Days Inn in Toledo, Ohio was just minutes from downtown and surrounding shopping centers, restaurants, fast foods, grocery stores, drug stores, parks, and other facilities.

Just don't do it. Just don't. The hallway smelled of stale cigarette smoke and something unidentifiable. Our room reeked of mold. My wife, who has allergy issues, was was ready to leave based on how strong the smell was, and I was taking off my shoes. When I got them off, I immediately stepped into a disturbing wet spot on the carpet. There were also […] several shady characters hanging out in the parking lot, and I was concerned for the safety of our car. We went to the front desk to try to work out these issues. My wife said, "Our room is really moldy. I can't stay the night in there." The lady at the front desk said, "Yeah, sorry about that." So we left. Eventually, Hotels.com refunded us for our stay after trying to contacting the manager several times and finding he was dodging their calls. Also, the restaurant was closed "for renovation" on the night we came (7/27 -- leading me to believe the person who posted the positive review about 7/26 was actually a hotel employee), but I'd bet the last donut it had been shut down by the health department, given the condition of the rest of the hotel. We had wondered about this hotel because we'd seen some not so good reviews. But is was a good price. Wow were we surprised. It was clean, comfy and we loved having a fridge and microwave in the room. The pool was huge and refreshing. And that little restaurant they have served the best chicken salad we've ever had. THE ROOM I RESERVED WAS NOT AVAILABLE - THE ROOM THEY GAVE US WAS DIRTY AND RUN DOWN. THE WHOLE FACILITY NEEDS UPDATING AND CLEANED. WE DIDN'T EVEN STAY.

Since we didn't spend a lot of time in the room it didn't really matter that the room STANK and I mean bad. Also, nothing was done about unruly, loud, and disruptive guests that we complained about. it was close to the zoo which was nice and the room was fairly clean. The pool is not monitored and was full of obnoxious people who used the pools safety […] devices as toys. Which the hotel staff did nothing about. I have to say this is the WORST hotel I've ever stayed in. It was filthy (I mean this in every sense of the word). The furniture throughout the common areas of the hotel was filthy and ripped. Cigarettes were actually on the floor in the hallways. The ceilings were falling apart, and the glass cover for the fire extinquisher was broken on TWO occasions […] that I saw. A definite hazard for small children (which I had). The clientele were questionable as happens occasionally with a hotel w/weekly rates. The ladies at check-in were very friendly and helpful, but the hotel itself was terrible. It really started our family's quick weekend getaway off poorly. I'm very saddened and disappointed and will not only NEVER recommend this to others, but I WILL warn them to stay far far away from this Days Inn!! Devamı

I have to say that this was a unpleasant stay. Dingy looking establishment. Not reccomended. Pool was not suitable for indoor(cold as hell).. breakfast was horrible...overall not my type of place for the price

Hotel was clean, accommodations pretty good. OJ machine broken at breakfast and only milk or powdered creamer for coffee. Neighborhood wasn't awful but not great either and it seemed that a lot of the other guests actually lived in the hotel giving it a sketchy feel- too bad.

This hotel definitely needs an update! The staff was nice enough and my car was okay in the parking lot but the room was old and not in the best condition. Other local hotels are more comfortable but if its close to your destination, it was clean enough and cheap, just not a place I would stop at again.

Stayed here for one night. Thank goodness that was all. In the 3rd floor the ceiling was falling apart, plaster everywhere. Bathroom toliet kept running. No internet in room, although they said they had it. Shower never got warm. Spend 10 bucks more to go some where else!

The place was not very clean and there seamed to be a lot of "visits" by the police department. Didnt seam to be the safest place to stay. No Iron or board. No Alarm clock. Phone cut out.

Though the hotel was in less than perfect physical condition when I visited (they were in the process of painting the hallways and had just opened a new bar/grill that day) the service was friendly and my room was extremely quiet. The pool area looks old due to flaking paint and the decor of the hotel in general is dated. There is no room service at […] this location so you must walk down to the grill to get your food, though the walk is certainly worth it. I was a bit apprehensive about ordering when I heard it was their first day, but I had the most amazing cheeseburger I have ever eaten in my life (and I'm the daughter of a chef, so I know good burgers)! The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful and my room was clean, though could use some cosmetic updates. The location is convenient to downtown Toledo (just a hop to the interstate) and if the cosmetic issues were resolved, this would be a very nice place to stay. Devamı

We needed a motel near the bus terminal. The price was right and the motel was adequate for our needs. There was a lot of activity in the lobby when we arrived at 10:30 at night. It appeared to be people who were locals and not guests of the hotel. That made me a little nervous, but they didn't bother us. The maintenance man was a little overly familiar. […] Bathroom tile could use some caulk. There were two cars parked in the check-in area so that I had to back out and go around to get to our room. upon arrival clerk was very pleasant,door view of the room was ok.once in room noticed toliet wouldn.t flush,batroom looked untidy door jam appeared as if someone had forced entry,changed room right away only to go to another room where the toliet flushed apperance of it was all scratch up inside ,hair hanging from vent over tub,shower head was cruddy,chaulk […] around tub dirty,wall towels n shower badly patched chaolk needed to be scraped of tile,ice bucket looked dirty, i would never this was along waited vaccation to see site of toledo which was great however i would not stay in this hotel nor would i recommend this hotel to anyone.i find it very hard to believe that this hotel could be booked up at anytime ,upon check out the printed reciept that was hand to me was more than twice the amount that was on the one printed of my computer when booking. when bring it to the clerk attention she stated that the night i reserved room i was billed and should has check in,as she stated" oh well" and pointed out to me that i made a mistake when room was booked,after retriving my copy and presenting it to her,even thou she didn.t check before her "oh well you made a mistake"she didn;t say i sorry ,anyone staying in any hotel want to be able to becomfortable an treated with respect;we are all a customer to some bussiness and want to be treated as a respectful customer. It is what you would expect for this price range. Older hotel... lower class workers.... and clientele. Decent enough for one night. Freeway is closed directly next to it but there is easy access down the street.

After checking inn I proceeded to my room. Once gaining access to my room I noticed immediately that the floor was dirty and one of the beds was hanging halfway off the box spring matress. I tried turning on the television for my kids and noticed that none of the channels came in clear they was all snowy and muffled sound. I immediately called the front […] desk to let them know about the T.V. issue and they told me it was due to the weather. Once returning from getting dinner as I was walking back into the hotel I had noticed the parking lot was littered with lots of trash and in the flower bed by the entrance door there was a saw blade for a circular saw. So as I entered the door I wen't to the front desk and informed the clerk about the saw blade and she began to argue with me that there was no such thing out there. So after she finally told me she would have maintenance go and check on it I went back to my room with my family. Once I was back into my room I turned the T.V. back on because the weather had cleared up and the same issue was going on. So i decided to investigate a little and followed the cable line to the wall and noticed it was a loose connection heading outside so I tightened it up and the T.V. was good to go. So as I went to go to the bathroom I noticed that there was pubic hair on the bathroom counter as well as hair all on the shower walls. This all combined turned my three night stay into a one night stay immediately. So the next day I immediately checked out. This is by far the worst Hotel I have ever stayed at and definately don't recommend it for anyone especially families. Because the neighborhood and other guest aren't very family friendly Devamı

Staff was helpful. Location right off the expressway. Really nice continental breakfast. Pool was available, but we didn't use it. Room seemed a little worn, but overall it's a nice place to stay for the money.
