It was a decent hotel for the price we paid. Our only complaint is that the wireless internet service didn't work in our room and we had to sit in the lobby with our computers to use the internet. That was frustrating. The hotel provides a very basic breakfast, but breakfast none-the-less.

We were heading downstate to visit colleges. Unfortunately Hurricane Sandy go in the way and this was the closest and franky only hotel we could find. It was : 1. Dirty; 2. Run down; and 3. almost uninhabitable. If you are faced with being homeless, you might consider this place.

Stay here only if you must. Everything from driveway access to cleanliness of the towels and sheets was sub-par.

Couldn't wait to leave. Beds were horribly uncomfortable. You can hear every noise from every other room in the building. The parking lot seemed to be an after hours party spot. None of us slept a wink and when the sun came up we showered and left.

This is a complete dump...disgusting. After just dropping our bags off the night of our stay and leaving to go to a concert, we woke up the next morning to find the water in the bathroom was dirty. Sink, toilet and tub, all the water was brown/yellow coloring. Couldn't get anyone at the desk that morning...there were others waiting to have their problems […] addressed. Left immediately and came home to shower and rinse the filth of this place off. They won't acknowledge the problem, which usually is the first sign there is a HUGE problem. I don't stay in hotels very often and jealous only look for a few things before I decide on where I'm going to stay. But let me say I've never had to wait till noon to check in to a room that I've traverse or prepaid for. We arrived at the hotel a little after 10th am on Luke check-in day and after waiting 10th minutes for someone to answer the bell […] they had us wait till noon. We grab a bite to eat and went shopping till 1pm...had to wait in the lobby for another half an hour. They did upgrade us to a king bed but really!! The room was okay but the cable going into the tv had a short... No phone in the room. All the towels were stained. At least the room was clean and the bed was bug free. Checkout was no fun.... I had to come back at 11 to check out...when we wanted to be somewhere at 9 and wasn't planning on being back. Devamı

we went into the room turned on the switch for the light which did not come on, the room was cold, the bed was not straight and the tub was small. We took the hit on the cost and went to another hotel.

The receptionist is polite in person and on the phone. Although this is the first time we have encountered any problems, this last visit was problematic. The tub plug did not close. The shower did not work. The toilet was uneven and actually tipped/rocked slightly. And one of the lamps (near the mirrored desk), did not work. Additionally, the breakfast […] area have run out of butter or cream cheese, cups for juice and milk. We attempted to tell someone about these issues, but no one arrived at the reception desk for quite a while, and we needed to leave. Again, this is the first time we had encountered any problems. The exterior hallways of the Econo Lodge are in sad shape, which might concern you about the rooms. But they were fine and clean. Attending IMPA Test Days at the Monticello Motor Club? I found this to be a great alternative to the official hotel, which was 55% more and was a half-hour from the MMC.

There were cigarette burn holes on the bed spread, a strong smell of urine in the parking lot and old stains in the bathroom ceiling which contained a very old turquoise tub. The front desk clerk couldn't even muster a smile to greet us and acted like she didn't want to be there either. After inspecting the room and smelling the urine on our way to […] the room we realized this hotel was probably being used as emergency housing for displaced people, which is fine, but it should be disclosed. We left immediately and are disputing the charge to my credit card on the basis that all rooms were smoked in and therefore no non-smoking rooms exist at this hotel. Devamı

Had to leave at midnight do to water coming down from the ceiling and walls.

The room was small but clean and the location was great. There is a diner across the street and gas staton up the block. The price was a bit high for the accomedations, but the location was perfect.

My trip was very enjoying Have been there on couple of occasions and enjoy area and will return again Everything is all in one area Not much driving to get around to be able to enjoy yourself

I have never paid money to sleep in a place this dirty and disgusting. This place was an dirty, broken down hotel in the middle of Monticello. This place should be torn down. There was conference near by and no other rooms were available. The place was covered in mold, had a broken air conditioner, the bathroom door was kicked in and the over all condition […] of the entire property was RUN down and dirty. Devamı
