This hotel was great for the price. It was in good condition, a very pleasant surprise for the price. I did have to go out and buy a hairdryer. I was spoiled by other hotels. No breakfast, so plan ahead. I would stay again, no problem.

The room was modest but very well maintained and clean. Ammenities were bare bones. The manager was rude when my husband spoke with him. When I tried to return the key cards at check-out, the office doors were locked and there was no drop off or communication accessability. After I walked away, the manager walked through the door.

The night time check in guy was on the phone the whole time I was checking in. I paid online and he initially didn't realize this. All in all this hotel was acceptable, but if you can find another place for a similar price go for it.

the room was smelly, the system for the hotel was always down and were very unhelpful to get what i needed

Nice and well-kept. However, small amenities such as a pen and pad of paper, or a container of conditioner with the shampoo would be welcome.

Some of the front desk staff need training or reassignment. If it were my hotel I would invest in some mystery shoppers.

for the price this hotel was surprisingly nice and clean. front desk person was very nice, rooms have been updated to a more modern look. Mattress quality is what you would expect from a lower tier hotel but room was nice and quiet, I would stay here again.

Room was clean!! Bed was not very comfortable, just a little to firm for me!! Room was cold and thermostat must of not been working, i move the temperature up and room never got warm!!

Needed a hotel quick for an overnight stay while going to job interviews in the Chicago area. I was able to book online during dinner and then check right in with no problems at all. Great room for a great price!

I have to say that this place is very well kept, the management and front desk staff was very curteous and professional. I would definitely go back there for another stay, and also recommend to others.

My friend and I went to Chicago from Cleveland for a 2 day vacation. They took us because I was 18 and was reffered there. But when we got there employee behind the counter was not interested in us and while she talked....she read a magazine. This wouldnt have troubled me but she didnt even tell us where the room was. We went to the 2nd floor and there […] were tools and garbage on the walk-ways. When we got to our room it was clean but the bathrooms stunk and only had 1 thin blanket for the bed. The room itself was alright....I mean its probably the best we can get with the money we had and being 18. But we woke up at 5 in the morning and left by 6. To check out we went to the office and a different lady acually kept us there for almost 45 minutes because she refused to believe we paid. We told her we did it through hotles.com. And i asked her multiple times to check how she spelled my name and she said its right. Well it wasnt. She was rude and delayed our return home and didnt even apologize. I will recommend this hotel if you are 18 and it is close to your destination. But if you have an option to choose another please do. Also there was no ice or cups in the room so my morning was without coffee so that didnt help the situation either. But the hotel was right by a dunkin donuts and a gym so the location was okay. But it is hard to find because my GPS took me to the location but it is acually behind some building and there isnt a large sign to help navigate. So that took us about 15 minutes to find but that was just us so other people might find it easier then 2 teenagers lol. The neighborhood was very clean and nice (coming from someone who lives in a not-so-good area). I am a person that fully respects people and likes people who are polite. If the employees were just polite and nice to us I would recommend them to other people. I believe that manners and being nice can acually make up for some of the other problems. Enjoyed the stay. The Hotel Staff was very nice and caring to everyone. Cleaning Staff did an excellent job as well. For a 2 star hotel, I got 4 star quality service all around.

The room was cold, the TV did not work, parking lot not cleared of snow, shower curtain too short so after a shower the bathroom was flooded, and the "complimentary" coffee available in the lobby had to be made with cold water. In a work TERRIBLE!

Heat in room did not work. Door lock did not work. Wi-fi did not work. Shabby. Dirty common areas. Forever to check-in. Just terrible place.

the towels were like paper towels and stained as well. when asking for additional towels we were told to come to the front desk to get them. we were in a pinch, so we stayed at the red roof inn. NEVER again.

This hotel is right off the interstate, easy to find and easy to get back on the road! Very clean and updated. No complaints here! Very nice room!

I have been working in Chicago for the past 2 months- and have stayed in 4 different places trying to find several wish lists - 1. convenient to my work location 2.comfortable bed 3. best drive to work 4. clean - and I found them all here. Very nice - great value for the price. When I return in a couple months, I'll stay here again.

My daughter lives in Chicago. Hotels in Chicago are very expensive, so my husband and I always stay in one of the suburbs. This Red Roof Inn was about 30 minutes from the north side of Chicago. We basically just slept at the hotel. The bed was pretty comfortable. The room was basically clean, but the tub could have used a good scrubbing. I stayed at the Red Roof Inn for a business trip. My coworkers were leary at how inexpensive the hotel was. I personally think we scored big. I can tell you the location was great. It was right next to the shopping malls and restaurants. We were right next to the highway, but it wasn't so loud that it was a problem. I felt totally safe. The shower curtains […] are still shorter than the bathtub so watch out for a puddle if you take a shower. Working in Chicago - Red Roof located conveniently, staff was very accomodating and room is clean, excellent stay - would stay here again and would highly recommend.

Hotel is right next to Edens Xway. Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Free HBO. Great price, great value. I'd definitely stay there again.

The room was clean and well-appointed except there was no hairdryer but the staff provided one immediately. It's very conveniently located, within a block of I-94.

The room was over rated because it does not look like the online photos. The room condition was not worth the rate charge. The room stated non-smoking room yet we smell terrible smoke and get complaint does not do anything except the desk clerk give you one word "sorry" We will not return to this hotel again for sure!

All was fine. Alittle noisy from the highway cars

Got in late for check in. The clerk never hung up his personal phone call. Was given a room that wasn't cleaned. Called back to front desk from room. Phone rang and rang, when he answered I was told to come down and he would try to find another room. He should have brought me a new key. shower had curtain that only came down to the top of the tub. with the bowed curtain rod ,there was a big gap where water ran onto the floor. a vinyl liner a little longer than the tubs top would solve this problem. also a couple of lights by the elevator were out. (3rd floor).

Nice motel. great location, just off the I94 expressway. Nice neighborhood. Wonderful downtown in Deerfield, about 3 miles north on Waukegon Rd. Don't miss it. Also plenty of shopping just next door to motel.

It was fine and well located for our visit.

Spotless, the maid and maintenance people are top-notch. I would definitely stay here again. The front desk people don't know their left from their right. When I called for directions, one told me the hotel would be on my left when it would be on my left after I clearly explained what landmarks I was passing and that I was traveling south. Then another […] told a gues to go out the door and turn left when the guest had to go right to get to where the front desk person was telling him to go. It was pretty funny. Devamı

Very clean and pleasant room. 2nd & 3rd levels have outside balcony. If you think you might be bothered by interstate white noise, ask for room on other side. Huge shopping mall. Convenient to Lake-Cook Metra stop to bring you right to Union Station downtown ! Would definitely stay again.

The first room I was given had a leaky toilet tank and would refill every 20 minutes which was becoming very annoying. I reported this and they first said they would check to see if the person who serviced the rooms was still on the premises. I then called and again told them I didn't think I could get through the night with this problem. They offered […] me another room which was an upgrade at the same price I already paid. this room was extremely comfortable with amenities I did not have to pay for. This hotel is very close to our family and we have stayed there twice while visiting. The condition of the rooms, service and surrounding neighborhood is extremely comfortable and accommodating. We will stay there again as we feel, for the price, we get well more than what we pay for.

Excellent location for shopping a specially...Room is a little smaller, would love to have a little table in it. But very clean and cozy.

The staff were very friendly, it was quiet, the room itself appeared nice but the bathroom had hairs (yes) in/on the tub and the floor had tiny ants (I believe) crawling on it. There was no floor mat to stand on when you get out of the shower. The pillowcases were too small for the pillow. I initially booked only for a 3 days' stay. But my work extended and I ended up staying 2 weeks. Nice location with a ton of eating choices and an AMC Theater close by. The property is close to the freeway, but you don't hear a thing, with the doors/windows closed. The staff was friendly and courteous at all times.

So much noise the staff should control it over.

The room was the most affordable I could find at the time I was looking but I have stayed at 4 star hotels for as much so I don't consider the fee a bargain. If you want just a bed to sleep on and no atmosphere then you won't be disappointed. The brick walls were hideous.

Flew in for an interview and picked this hotel for proximity to company and Trader Joe's. I found TJ's had moved but not that far. The hotel didn't say it was close, I looked it up separately. Hotel was clean, in a quiet location, close to a great restaurant, check-in went smoothly, room was very nice, hotel staff was great. Would definitely stay here […] again and recommend to others.
