The first room I was given smeled bad - sor tof like a combination of stale cigarette smoke and some deodorizer, so I asked for another, which I was given. The second room smelled the same, way, but not quite as much so I didn't go back to the desk again. But it had no windows! no sunlight! asked for non-smoking, got a smelly smoking room. Mold in the showers, TV was cheap, staff was slow to respond

i left my scarf there and they mailed it to my day after. that is wonderful . they had breakfast ready even before the 6:30. i am recommending it very much.

it was a great hotel

Noithing fancy about this hotel. Clean and convenient location. Rooms are clean.

Close to the city. Clean room. Good neighborhood.

the hotel/room was okay for a nite. however, hotel.com was misleading in description and distance from boston's omni parker hotel. the $$ of the cab ride from airport to hotel was more than the cab ride from the hotel to the omni parker hotel the next day.

I had to find a place to stay overnight in Boston, and this seemed like like the only place which was close enough and accessible without being very expensive. I read all the reviews and wasn't hoping for much, but I was proved wrong. I checked into it in the evening, and the manager was very prompt and polite. The room was clean, and the TV and heater […] worked properly. Bed was comfortable. I was satisfied. The only thing to consider is transportation. There is a bus stop near the hotel which takes you to the Malden Center Orange line station, but look up the bus schedule ahead to avoid waiting for a long time. awful neighborhood, shavings in the sink, bullet proof glass at front desk, undesirable people through out. Dirty carpet and a non smoking room that smelled like smoke. NEVER would ever consider staying here again, even if it were free

disappointed staff didn't follow through on wakeup call, getting taxi as promised for our departure to airport. we missed flight mostly because taxi arrived 25 min after time promised and we had to repeatedly request guest services to call and check even though he wasn't busy at all so early in the morning. taxi driver was very unconcerned about our […] time problem. claimed he didn't have change for payment to obtain a tip. eventually "found" the change I needed. No tip!!! Waiting at Logan airport/Boston from 7am to 6:10pm wasn't what we'd planned. Devamı

This hotel sort of looks like Nic Cage might go there to die. The girl who checked us in was way more interested in her telenovella, while the guy who checked us out wouldn't interrupt his phone call to talk to us. The free breakfast was a stale donut and watery juice. The bathroom door didn't close, the hot/cold taps were reversed, and the hallway […] would make Stephen King blanche. Good times! Terrible experience. The hotel smells like smoke and urine. There was mould in the bathroom. The buses that take you to the transit were infrequent and the overall location is inconvenient. I would never ever go back to the Econo lodge

I requested a non-smoking room on every hotel booking I make. When I get there I receive a smoking room. THey told me that that was the way it was booked. There is a miscomunication between Hotels.com and Econolodge. I hope this does not happen agin with my reservation.

Instead of free bunks with the family decided to pull money out of pocket and book something. I obviously didn't pull enough money out and took one of the cheaper options. First room smelled like a greasy cheese sandwhich served in dirty ashtray. 2nd ok but I wore flip flops the entire time. Room looked like there should be police tap around it. I am very pleased with this place. It is not a fashinable one of course and that is what I needed. Probably you can not afford beter for your money.

The only good thing about this hotel was that it was near the subway line. And when I say near I mean a 15min bus ride or a $12 cab to the station. A few notes: -The person behind the counter at check-in is behind glass. -The sleeve your room key comes in has a note on it urging guests to "Not open the hotel door to anyone without checking their ID" -Their […] were a few officers including one with a camera checking out a room the night we stayed there. this is a very average hotel. it is a bit out of the city, however its a very easy bus ride and subway ride to the city. the bus and subway comes frequent (every 5 min or so). the rooms have fridge and microwave. the neighborhood is ok it seems. if i go to boston again i would stay here.

The room smelled sooo bad. The location is a half hour away from the airport. For the money I spent in cabs getting to and from the hotel, I wished id just booked a closer, more expensive room elsewhere. Cab ride one way was $30, including tip.

romm # 232 with hole in the celling + reparations on wall not complete. No insulation between rooms. Continental breakfeast with no plates, no fresh milk, only bread and donuts.

Hair all over the pillow cases, no sunlight coming into the rooms, sketchy area, room smelled of cigarettes even though it was a "non smoking room"

Wasn't what i expected, then again we should have spent an extra thirty or so to get a much more comfortable enviornment.. low budget...

The entire hotel smelled horrible of cigarette smoke and urine. Staff was was not welcoming or helpful. There were groups of people hanging out outside of the rooms. It seemed as though they had famiilies living in the hotel as well. The site said the hotel was 3.3 miles away from the airport and I don't believe that to be accurate. The room was larger than I expected and was neat and clean. I was pleasantly surprised.

First off the neighborhood did not give me a warm and fuzzy feeling what so ever, unless you count my adrenaline pumping because I just wanted to run! As soon as we walked into the room you could smell a strong mildewy smell. Went to go wash my face and there was black mold all over the bathroom. At this point we decided we did not want to stay there. […] But when we went to the front desk not only did they not offer to have us check out another room, they said the problem was they had new housekeeping staff that must have missed the mold. Shopped for price and location. Price was lowest in the area (that's not saying much), but was located 2 miles from the subway to downtown Boston, too far to walk. A fresh modern face to an old worn out motel. Neighborhood was scary, the property management 'family' all hung out at the entrance to the lobby, smoking and conversing with each other in […] a non-English language, could not tell if they were talking about you. I was a litle taken aback when the desk staff was behind a protective window! Staff was nice but the room was gloomy and my TV wouldn't work. Glad I was just staying there overnight for an early flight.

Hair on the new soap. It was wrapped but gross. A bug on the sheet. Yes it was a smoking room (it's all they had available and we were desperate) but it was so poorly ventilated. It smelled so strong a bitter of cigars. Definately not passing a health inspection. It was shockingly disgusting.

This has got to be the most disgusting hotel I have ever been to. It was hard to even lie down in the bed. I stayed up half the night looking up bed bugs and trying to see if there were any I could find. The people that worked there were friendly, but they also called to tell me that they put me in another guest's room...and later told me that they […] checked me in as another person?? The neighborhood was scary too. I would highly recommend spending more $ for a better place. From the other guests that I saw, I'd assume that it was a prostitute/drug spot more than anything. locationwas difficult - 9 miles from Harvard, but up to 50 minutes eachway in morning and evening. oldstyle 1950's motel with controled access was not very convenient. telephone was not set up for outside phone calls. breakfast was sparten price was acceptable and the room was clean although musty smelling.

Economical, clean motel rooms. Spartan breakfast option. The main drawback is that all the money saved was spent in cab rides to Malden central or elsewhere, since the motel is not convenient to the T- train.

I got more than 10 bed bug bites all over my body after one night stay.

Terrified by the lack of security and the condition of the hotel. I stayed up all night wondering if I was going to get robbed are get bitten by bedbugs. The bedspread was about 10 years old and gave me the creeps. I should have stayed in my car. The staff was very nice

The hotel room was suppose to be a non smoking room it was no, it smell like smoke and musty, the toilet did not flush and the staff gave me the plunge to do it my self also I could not take a shower the water was cold and it was 27 degree outside after driving 8 hrs u expect to get a nice hot shower, I check out the same day because it was bad.

The cheapest hotel I found close to Boston. I was not expecting much, but I was surprised. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. The place is close to T station so I was able to park my car for the whole day and travel conveniently via subway. Had nice wireless internet, microwave. No coffee machine though.

the area surrounding the hotel was slumish about ever 45mins a fire truck or police car drove by lights and sirrens was almost imposable to get any sleep. The floors had been stained and the ac was broken and making a terrable noise. It wasent the best experience.

As basic as it comes. Room was a bit stinky but I've been in worse. If it's just an overnight and you really just need a bed, it'll be fine as long as you're not hard to please.

Hotel further from Boston city centre than we thought- hotel staff very helpful in directing us to local public transport to enable to get to City Centre and Amtrak station and local metro

I was supposed to get a non-smoking room. On the door it did say non-smoking but the room reeked of smoke. I was displeased with this. I will not stay at this hotel again. The hotel staff was nice and considerate.
