Although I was in the hotel for less than 8 hours, the location was perfect--just passing through late at night--and the rooms were clean and confortable. In particular, I liked that the room heater/AC didn't cycle on & off so I didn't wake up all night long from the noise. I also appreciated the "to-go" breakfast bags. The hotel was clean. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was very nice. One complaint- they indicated breakfast was until 10 a.m., I had 4 older teenagers with me and my boyfriend. We came down to eat breakfast at 9:30 and mostly, if not all of the "hot" food was gone. I did ask if they were going to make any more eggs, potatoes or gravy and was […] told "NO, It takes to long to make!" I told the lady that there wasn't enough hot food for all of us and she said "Nothing I can do". When I pay more for a room at your hotel because I am told that my children will have a "hot" breakfast and breakfast is until 10a.m., I would hope that the hotel would honor that. I was very dissapointed with the way I was talked to and not having food until the specified time. Devamı

I took my 14 year old daughter and her three friends to Fright fest for the weekend, it was great. Your hotel was directly across the street from the park. The kids walked back and forth from the park alone asnd I felt secure. Vernita ,the front desk clerk was wonderful with the girls, she held their coats for them even though the room was not ready […] and worked hard to accomadate us with ajoining rooms. I did not like not having a microwave or refridgerator in the room. Later I was told you must request them when you make your reservation, that sucks. Overall we'll be back. Devamı

The lobby was clean and inviting. Our room was a decent size and the bathroom was nice. The sink area was a little small, but doable. We were able to walk to Six Flags and there were several restaurants nearby. The hot chocolate and cookies in the evening were a big draw for our kids. Very close to Six Flags, so if you're doing that, it's a good place to be. The hotel was very clean, attractive and comfortable. Woman at the front desk was pleasant. Breakfast was what one expects from a Hampton Inn (i.e. better than your average hotel continental breakfast, but nothing to set the world on fire). Good value for the price.

We really enjoyed this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was excellent. We would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Gurnee. We were able to walk to Six Flags since the hotel was so close.

I waasvery happy with the conviently located hotel and the staff were most helpful. It was a pity there was no fridge/freezer in the room as in other Hampton Inn hotels

We chose Hampton because of the proximity to Six Flags and the good reviews. We found it to be very clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was very good with lots of selections. And the warm, freshly baked cookies that they put out in the evening were fabulous, but get them early because they disappear fast! Overall, a very good experience!

MY FAMILY STAYED HERE FOR ONE NIGHT AND HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE. THE STAFF WERE ALL FRIENDLY. THE ENTIRE HOTEL WAS CLEAN AND MODERN. THE OUTDOOR POOL WAS PERFECT. BREAKFAST WAS GREAT AND COOKIES AT NIGHT WERE A SWEET TREAT. VERY HAPPY WITH HAMPTON INN IN GURNEE AND BELIEVE IT DESERVES A MUCH HIGHER RATING.

Only downside was the pool was outdoor and we stayed there in December. :( Overall the hotel was nice. I would recommend it.

The hotel is conveniently located with a lot of restaurants and a shopping center right next to it. The service was fine but this is a very old and tired hotel with warn carpeting, old furniture, and a 24" television, a handful of channels and the smell of cigarette smoke in the hallway.

This hotel was very close to Gurnee Mills shopping outlet mall. Clean, efficient, nice breakfast included, and when checking in at 11 pm on a cold night, we were amazed that our heat had been turned on in our room. I don't think this has ever happened to me before - I didn't have to wait for the room to be comfortable. The inclusive breakfast in the […] morning was very nice; really a buffet with waffles, eggs, cereals, fresh fruit cup, juices, cereals, bagels, muffins - you get the picture. I woud recommend this hotel to anyone. Check was no problem and the room was exactly what I signed up for online. It was quick and they were courteous. The check out was the same and only took 5 min. if that.

We arrived early and were able to check into our 4 rooms which was a nice convenience. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to Six Flags which saves lots of money on parking. It's also very close to lots of restaurants and Starbuck's is right across the street. The free breakfast was great and the kids loved the waffels. excellent location, very close to theme park and outlet mall. Clean and comfortable. I appreciated the hot continental breakfast. My daughter appreciated the outdoor swimming pool. My husband appreciated the price. Staff was very friendly.

The hotel was clean, located within walking distance to Great America, had milk and coffee available at all times, had cookies available in the evening, great full breakfast. The only negative is the rooms are small.

Our stay was fine the first night. On the 2nd day we returned to our hotel at around 4 pm & it had not been cleaned yet. We called the front desk for clean towels so we could shower for dinner & were told that "housekeeping is running behind & is low on towels so it will be an hour before we can get towels to you". We ended up using our beach towels […] so that we could make our dinner reservations. Not to happy about the inconvenience. Devamı

We have stayed here several times and have never been disappointed. Breakfast is good, rooms are always clean, staff is very friendly and beds are comfy...and close to everything!

5 Star,clean,friendly would stay again,recommended to stay.

We stayed at this hotel since we were going to be at six flags for a couple days with the family. It was great! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was great. they had hot and cold choices and the hot choices differed by day (we were here 3 days). They offer coffee and fruit all day and fresh hot cookies at 8pm. Pool is […] outdoors but its heated. Close to lots of great restaurants and 3 blocks from six flags (you could walk if you wanted). Gurnee mills mall is less than a quarter of a mile away and has lots to offer...including more great restaurants and activities. Very impressed! We will stay here again when we come to gurnee. Marvelous hotel for its location across from Great America/6 Flags and convenient for guests visiting the northwest suburbs.

we had a great time shopping at the outlet mall and had a wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn hotel. Very courteous staff and plenty to eat at the continental breakfast before traveling home.

Room was excellent, plus they loaned us a bath chair for my daughter in a cast, we didnt even have to ask when we walked in and they seen her, the manager offered the chair.

Great value for the money. It is far enough from the mall to miss the traffic. Close enough to the restaurants to walk to them. Staff was wonderful. Polite. Glad to see me.

outstanding hotel, i was very impressed with room the location of the hotel was amazing everything was in walking distance i will absoulutley stay again,my son just graduated from boot camp and will be staying in great lakes for his school

We stayed at this hotel the weekend of Oct 3, 2009. The hotel was clean. We had a King w/sleeper sofa. The picture on the website makes the room look much larger than it actually is. We had to turn the sofa a bit before it would open up all the way. Also, they say that each room has a balcony. Well there was a balcony but the door was bolted so it would […] not open. If you are looking for a hotel close to the action for a decent price then I would recommend this one. It is very close to the mall and tons of places to eat. I was happy with the hotel. Breakfast was good. Whenever I book hotel from hotels.com, I get room very far from elevator. I think thats because we pay less. LOL

We were very satisfied with our service at the hotel but were a little concerned when my friend went into her first assigned room - and the air conditioner wasn't working - actually, it was torn apart. My friend told the front desk and they put her in another room. The next room...the front part of her dresser was broken off and she didn't want to get […] charged for that - so she called down to the desk again. They came and fixed it. Soo...the condition of the hotel was questionable when it came to the maintenance part. Why wouldn't the hotel maintenace staff know of this? Our room was great - clean and great service. The pool was warm and the kids all had a great stay. It was within walking distance of the amusement park that we were visiting. G Devamı

The hotel was in a convenient location...very close to an amusement park. I would recommend staying at this hotel only in the summer, if you have kids that like to swim.

The Hampton in Gurnee is located within walking distance to many great restaurants and to Six Flags. We just parked the car and walked all weekend. The staff at the Hampton was very friendly and made our little weekend getaway very enjoyable.

I think the breakfast would been better, i don't know exact what kind of eggs you sever but it was rather distasting.
