St Giles - The Tuscany New York - New York

Although the room was on a small side but it's more than enough for two people to come after the day of sightseeing and rest comfortably. The bed is super comfy and linens of a very good quality and very clean.

Nice hotel with two exceptions. One, their cancellation policy is the most restrictive I have found in the city. I travel to NYC 50 times a year for work, so have stayed at a ton of hotels. Second, only hotel in city I am aware of that does not escort/allow food delivery services to deliver to the room and require you to meet in the lobby. Large clean comfortable room withing walking distance of Grand Central Station. Pleasant helpful front desk personnel. Will stay there again next time we make plans for NYC.

The room was very big, nicely decorated, nice staff, BUT - the room was so dark - with every light on! I felt like I was in a cave.

We booked our stay at St Giles-'he Tuscany' New York at fairly short notice. It turned out to be a great choice for us. Its informal atmosphere and friendly staff made us feel very much at home. It was the perfect cosy place in which to "retreat, relax and recharge" after our exhilarating and sometwhat strenuos days. This added significantly to our previous explorations and experiences of this city's sights and people, making NYC one of our favourite destinations in the world. Great service and a nice clean room.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The St. Giles. Largest hotel room (for a great price) that we've ever had the pleasure of staying in. Neighborhood was safe and convenient for our needs. Loved the front staff's sense of humor.

Close to shopping, The Rock etc... Good welcoming by Shane at the reception, good location but there is a need to shape up the bathrooms. The AC creates a lot of noice and it is impossible to sleep when it is on. Avoid the romms facing the street.

We stayed at the Tuscany for 2 nights to celebrate our anniversary and had an amazing time! The hotel is centrally located...just a couple of blocks from Grand Central. The staff was great and the rooms are huge for NYC standards! Would definitely recommend this hotel and plan on staying here again in the future

Very impressed with the high level of customer service from all of the employees. The room was clean and large. Right around the corner from Grand Central Station. Would definitely consider staying there again!!

Lovely hotel! Our room was very nice, large and quiet. Housekeeping was inconsistent during the week, but nothing major. My only complaint is that the hotel charges for in-room wifi access, which I elected not to purchase because of the high price. It made working in the room a pain.

Perfect location, perfect service, comfort and price. My heater was not working and the maintenance and customer service were fantastic. Bed was comfy and the room was huge. This is my spot from now on. Murray hill is great location within walking distance of Broadway, the Park, and 5th Ave.

Very spacious and comfortable room. The staff was nice as well. I would stay there again.

Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. It's a great location near Grand Central Station. Room was not fancy, but was clean, quiet, spacious, and secure--and was a good price. Nice breakfast assortment in the attached cafe. Would definitely stay again.

Very clean, comfortable and nice sized room. Great location, short walk to subways at Grand Central Station and the United Nations. Times Square a few more blocks away but a very doable walk too. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Also, Fagiolini's restaurant at corner Lexington & 39th - delicious Italian fare at reasonable prices.

I was very satisfied with my recent stay at the St. Giles. The location was perfect, within walking distance of Grand Central Station. Parking across the street was cheaper than other places I've stayed in NYC. Room was bigger than some of the studios I've seen in NY. It was comfortable, clean. The bathroom was amazing as well. Staff was mostly friendly despite a little attitude from one front desk person. Only complaint is the air conditioning/heating unit is LOUD. Woke me up almost every time it came on the first night. Got used to it. Overall nice hotel.

I stayed in a superior king room and it was very clean and spacious. The hotel lobby is very beautiful, and door service is great. The rooms are nicely done but you can tell the age by looking at the walls, doors, and carpet. The bathroom was very nice. Camera was taken from our room wed 11/9 between 8:00 PM & 1:00 AM which was really disappointing because it had 5 days worth of travel pictures we had taken. The rest of stay was great

We had a room next to the lifts and the air conditioning outlet. When asked to be moved we were moved to the other side of the noisy lifts. The batthroom was in a poor state, bath all stained and cracked as well as the tiles. Could do with a refurb. The lighting was pretty poor. i guess so we couldn't see all the grime.

Stayed here on a Saturday night. Great service, friendly and willing to hold luggage the next day. Safe area at night. stayed during october.

We were greeted by a friendly and helpful staff upon our arrival at the Tuscany. The staff all week worked hard to make our stay in NYC memorable. One staff member even walked with us the half block up to Park Avenue to help us get a cab. The room was very spacious with a large bathroom and a small walk-in closet. The location was also outstanding. […] We were close enough to the theater district and Times Square to walk if we wanted and at the same time we were only two blocks from Grand Central Terminal, our hub for the subway. Nice spacious room, dim lights for reading. Surprisingly quiet. Cooperative friendly staff.

This hotel was a real find. The rooms are much larger than most New York hotels. They serve a wonderful breakfast buffet in the morning, have a bar with appetizer in the evenings and they offer full room service. Mini bar in the room, as well. Overall I enjoyed my stay at The Tuscany. I wanted a central hotel that would allow me to easily explore Manhattan and at the same time not break the bank. On this they delivered. The lighting in the hotel is quite dark, from the lobby through to the rooms, which at first glance looks like it is to give a romantic theme to the place but I think was […] basically to stop you noticing that it's a bit scruffy around the edges. Don't get me wrong - it's still lovely - it's just that you can tell that it would have been pristine 15 years ago and now is beginning to show its age a bit. I hear that is common of New York hotels - they never have time to do them up. I wasn't interested in spending much time in my hotel so I wasn't bothered about a lack of a large restaurant or beautiful views of central park (I couldn't afford that anyways) but on providing a comfortable, clean and pleasant hotel experience, they delivered. Also, the bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the water pressure was great (I read some reviews before going about the plumbing but they appear to have sorted whatever issues they had there out). The room had a walk-in wardrobe which was a nice touch and there was an interior door which meant that I didn't hear the lift in the hall outside (which the room was opposite). So, if like me you're looking for a nice, comfortable, central hotel that's not too expensive and don't mind sacrificing having everything new and shiny then this place is a great bet. Devamı

The Tuscany has fairly large rooms, is in a quiet neighborhood and a friendly, helpful staff. It is small - which we like. A real treat was the ability to park on the street Saturday evening and all day Sunday - for free!

This boutique style hotel has many good features including : a spacious (for NYC) , very nicely decorated (peaceful) , well maintained room which included a very comfortable bed, a large bathroom with a large tub and good, black out drapes ; a very convenient , yet relatively quiet location for Manhattan; friendly, helpful staff. There is a restaurant […] at the hotel which I did not try but there is a small restaurant aroung the corner on Lex Ave. which offered a very good breakfast at reasonable pricees. This hotel is not budget but with a discount the price was comparatively reasonable for Manhattan. The drawbacks were a steep fee for Wifi (except it is free in the lobby); a well stocked mini bar with no room in the frig; no coffeemaker; a fee even for 800 calls. Great staff and room. Wonderful gym. Great location. Shower had issues. Nothing problematic. Young vibe. Stayed there when it was the W. Amazing hotel...will stay there again.
