For a hotel wo old I wsa amazed how immaculate the bathroom was and all tiled. Charming hotel!! Great beds and nice people

While our visit was brief, we enjoyed the Oxford and would return. It's an old, though fully restored, railroad hotel. Stunning lobby with incredible western art. Rooms are well appointed, though smaller--typically of that era. We stayed here w/ our infant on the strength of other recommendations. We were not disappointed. An absolutely beautifully restored Victorian hotel. The tile work in the bathroom was amazing. The service was very good except the staff in the a.m. was very young and didn't seem to have an urban sensibility when it came to places to eat and things to […] see. I'm a beer geek and wanted to check out the local craft brewing scene and Wynkoop Brewery is a block away. I hear Great Divide has better beer. Devamı

Anyone who doesn't spend at least one night at the Oxford Hotel while in Denver is missing out on a special treat. The room accommendations are top quality. The staff could not be more courteous and helpful. Coupled with their art decco lounge and McCormick's Resturant next door your evening is complete.

This hotel has charm, class, location, wonderful linens and excellent personnel. Always a pleasure!

Beautiful, historic hotel in the LoDo neighborhood of Denver. Walking distance from restaurants & bars. Very charming, I will definitely stay here again!

We've stayed at the Oxford for years and they continue to provide an excellent value, clean rooms with charming character. The intown shuttle service is a wonderful amenity for a night out. The Cruise Room is a favorite as well.

Loved the Oxford--staff was especially efficient and savvy. I was upgraded when my original room turned out to be no bigger than a box--I didn't even have to ask. Loved the great adjoining restaurant and bar. My only complaint was the excessive valet parking price. Lowering the price might inspire more tips to the hardworking valet attenants.

Services and amenities promised on website not delivered. Robes, slippers and turndown service. One robe for two people, no slippers and now turndown. Front Desk did not know what we meant by turndown service. Towels requested but not delivered. Very comfortable room.

Beautiful old, but well kept and clean hotel in the Lower Downtown area of Denver. Close proximity to everything. Staff were most helpful and kind. Very clean. Only complaint would be the poor water pressure from the shower and although the traffic noise was minimum, the noise from anyone talking in the hallway was very loud and transferred through […] the walls/door. We had a wonderful time staying at the Oxford hotel. It is a beautiful hotel that is in a great location in LODO. I highly recommend it

The Oxford was convenient to all things LoDo in Denver, plus the Cruise Room right in the hotel. Very luxurious, very courteous staff, efficient and courteous valets.

If you appreciate history, antiques and architecture from the past then this hotel may be worth it. My wife and I appreciated all the neighborhood had to offer. The room was small aand we had a view of a brick wall! We woke up to a $38 parking bill slid under our door.

The Oxford Hotel is always wonderful. We lived in Denver 20 years ago and now visit at least once a year and stay there. The minute I walk into that wonderful lobby with that fabulous Southwestern art collection, I know I am in for a great evening. This was a nice hotel - the only unfortunate issue was them vacuuming the bar at about midnight and the noise in the room from this. They did stop after I called the front desk. Otherwise a nice hotel, convenient to everything, clean, and comfortable.

We registered as a party of two elderly adult men, and were given an inferior room at the very back of the hotel with a view of the air conditioners and parking garage, with a single queen bed for two adults. We were told that online reservations often yielded inferior results. The desk clerk (, female,) joked that we could get cuddley, because no other […] rooms were available since the hotel was busy. We travel a fair amount for business and on holiday and I don't believe I have ever encountered such consistently excellent and cheerful service from every hotel employee we had contact with. It was truly amazing. Of course the property is beautiful and the nice touches like coffee and tea in the lobby in the morning and fruit-infused ice water in the […] afternoon are welcome. But the staff really make this place shine. They will do whatever is in their power to make your stay comfortable. The location is also within easy walking distance of good shopping and restaurants and the hotel's complimentary town car will take you to other locations within a 2-mile radius. Love staying at the Oxford for Downtown Denver getaway trips. Great decor and ambiance. Very clean. Felt right at home and great for romance. Will be back.

This is a perfect place to stay if you are looking for a hotel within walking distance to the Rockies stadium and lots of restaurants. The lobby has lots of old style detail which I love and you won't find electronic room keys here! Which I prefer as mine alway seem to demagnitize and wasting 15 minutes shleping back down to the front desk. I will definitely […] stay here again!! Devamı

I only got to stay here for a night but I had a wonderful stay. Everyone I met at the hotel (doormen, desk staff) was open and friendly. They have a town car that will drive you anywhere within 2 miles (and pick you up) for free! Bed was super comfortable. Bathtub was HUGE (and I am a tall big guy). Highly highly recommend.

Everything about the Oxford is unique even the bathrooms. I wish I could see the urinals in the mens room in the basement because I hear they are marbel antiques. The fitness spa is well equipped and Mitchell's has wonderful food. This is my hotel of choice in Denver!

This is a 4-star hotel and the oldest hotel in Denver. Be aware that it is an old building. They have done everything reasonable to update the building but it is still old. Enjoy the historic aspects of it. The room was a little small and strangely shaped. The bathroom was quite small, especially the shower stall. The water took forever to get hot, […] but finally did. There are no vending machines in the building. There is a convenience store about 2 blocks away. There is no ice machine either. You can order ice from room service, which is McCormick & Schmidts. Second time visit was as ideal and comfortable as the first. We will always return to the Oxford. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and very accommodating to the children. The ambiance for Christma season was expecially impressive.

The Oxford is consistently and excellent place to stay. Easy access and exit back to interstates. Close to many excellent dining establishments in LoDo. The staff is friendly and especially the Valet he remembered us from more than a year ago when we last stayed there.

I loved the period look of the Oxford but found that everything worked too! Excellent wifi in the room but an ethernet connection too. A large comfortable bath tub with a flat bottom meant no falling down when using the shower which (by the way) had good temperature and flow control. This is not always the case. Stayed Oct. 19 - 20th and was cold in the room. Called front desk and they said heater hadn't been turned on yet so the thermostat in the room was useless. Brought me a space heater and hot tea. Couldn't believe it. Also, small, dark room with no view. Bed was uncomfortable and so were pillows. No closet, no drawers. Depressing. I did let front desk […] know and they moved me to a much nicer room for my 3rd night at no add'l cost which was nice but overall, the hotel was just too old and uncomfortable for me. Devamı

The Oxford was fantastic. We had such a great time here, the staff were amazing, the rooms beautiful and very comfortable. Everything you could possibly want has been thought of and you are very well looked after. Highly recommend to anyone in Denver to stay at The Oxford.

My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and stayed at the Oxford Hotel for one night. The hotel location is great, close to Coors Field and downtown Denver. The staff were attentive and polite. We ordered room service for breakfast and we were impressed with the price, quality and quantity of the meals. The only critique I would make is that […] the beds, while not bad, are not the most comfortable I have slept in. A better mattress would make this a five star review. Otherwise, it is a great hotel and I would recommend it. Devamı
