the room was old and run down the lights in the bathroom did not work it was a smoking room but it smelled like it hasn't been clean in months this was not the type a hotel I am use to staying will never do this again

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and adequate. They are not large but we had 3 adults and it worked fine.

The directions were not very well. We drove all the way down past hotel into the scary intercity!!! When we didn't have too... The rooms are outdated and not very clean. We wore our flip flops in the shower. Also, the days inn asks u to save on the environment by re-using ur sheets & towels... Sheets I could understand if staying a day or two.. But […] our towels.. GROSS!! Made me wonder if we had clean linens to begin with. Thank god I brought a can of Lysol to spray everything down.. Devamı

The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Kate (front desk) is delightful and very accommodating! My only complaint is that the "heated" pool was too cold. My 15 month old son was shivering and crying both times we went swimming and that was really the only thing we were looking forward to doing in the hotel. It […] was expensive but we booked last minute and it was a holiday weekend. If you don't care to use the pool OR don't mind it cold then I would highly recommend staying at this hotel because everything else was excellent!!! Devamı

A friend recommended this hotel as it was close and looked like it was clean. But when I got to the room the bad smell of smoke was so horrible I had to open all the windows and leave the room for 4 hrs. Left to get cleaning supplies because the room was disgusting, trash behind the bed, the floor was dingy n dirty, the bed sheets had stains and cigarette […] burns an holes. The furniture and everything was old and out of date. I went to clean the toilet and it over flowed.. I call the front desk and the guy tells me he couldn't leave the room that I had to get the plunger. I was completely dissatisfied with the hotel.. Too much expensive for the quality of it. We came to Poughkeepsie for a funeral 6 months ago and stayed at this hotel. We came back for another funeral and didnt want any other hotel. Great location, excellent service, great price. Wonderful place to stay.

Our stay was better than expected due to the upgraded room. The Business Class room was inside the building(unlike the rooms outside which have a motel feel). The room was very clean and modern. The towels are so-so but it had a mini-fridge and microwave as well as a free bottle of water and microwave popcorn. The free breakfast was better than most. […] It had the usual stuff like coffee, cereal, muffins, yogurt, bagels, hard boiled eggs etc. Hot waffle maker was popular. Gym was small with only 1 treadmill and 1 eliptical but it did the trick. The indoor pool looked nice. Days Inn Business Class room had all the fixings of a 3 star hotel without the price tag. I would recommend highly, especially if you're visiting Vassar College which is a few blocks away. I didn't have any experience with the nearby restaurants (Pizzeria Uno is close) so can't comment. The area's fine but the hotel sits next to a busy throughway. You definitely want a car to get around (but you can walk to Vassar in warmer weather). Devamı

This was the only place open within 50 miles, so we had no choice.If you are in a band, and need a place to crash , then this would be ok. I would NOT bring any children her though.The staff was great, but the room was sketchy, not to mention the surrounding area.

It was clean and comfortable, the included breakfast was quite satisfactory, the location was perfect for the purposes that I needed it, the neighborhood was safe, and there were a handful of good restaurants nearby for lunch and dinner. Would definitely stay here again.

Only problem was they put me in a smoking two bed, nothing else available for my 3 night stay. Don't care for the smell of such rooms. It was well serviced however, secure, and the beds clean & good. Everything worked and locked correctly. I was OK with it after the first night.

comfy room, great breakfast including make your own waffles, plenty of parking, we were just passing through but it was a good place for a stopover, if you stay in poughkeepsie you must walk across the foot bridge over the hudson, it's beautiful!

Nice time....clean and close to plenty of places to eat. Room was nice and warm even when it was 27degrees outside. My son liked the pool and bathroom was clean.

The location of this hotel can't be beat. It is about 2-3 blocks away from the Vassar campus on Haight Street. The room itself was not bad, but a bit run-down. My suggestion to the hotel management would be to clean the carpets(remove stains) and repair broken light fixtures. That would improve the opinions of their guests. When I read the reviews, I was very confused. Some were good, others bad. I still decided to try it because the rates were very reasonable. I was extremely pleased with everything, and would recommend it highly. However, I had the so-called business room, not sure of the other types of rooms.

On a one way street that confused the gps, had to be creative to find the entrance, but otherwise, ok. Note that there is no elevator.

This is a pleasant place, clean, knowledgable staff for info of places of interest. Clean, modern room/bathroom - bonus of fridge/microwave. Decent breakfast - with coffee anytime... Clean pool w/towels, great hours 9am-9pm. We've stayed at Days Inn for the last 17 years. Keep it clean/modern/helpful staff/family friendly. It's what works!

Our room, just one flight up from the lobby in the main building, was clean and completely smoke free. We were happy to have a room there on a busy weekend. If the price were a bit cheaper and the hotel had been closer to where we wanted to be, it would have been better. but we clearly would return here.

Very solid hotel. Nice, neat, and clean. Took advantage of the indoor pool and free breakfast. Would have liked to use the small gym too but ran out of time. Main purpose of stay was because I was visiting the Culinary Institute of America with my girlfriend. It was excellent and would highly recommend the trip.

very clean. indoor pool was nice but small. i was the only one in there both days so i loved it. staff was nice and friendly. always said hello when i passed by. continental breakfast was avg. but then again its free so how can one complian. free newspaper. wi-fi could have been a little stronger. lost connection a few times in my room. has a pizzera […] uno right accross the street. room was very clean and bed was very nice as well. a/c worked great. actually turned it down at nite. cant beat the quality for the price!!!!
