Days Inn Los Angeles/LAX/Redondo and Manhattan Beach - Lawndale

Pros: 1. Convenient location, near LAX and the beaches. Cons: 1. Free Wi-Fi not available or signal too weak to be of any use. 2. Door key card had to be replaced 3 times, very tricky and annoying. 3. Room smelled musty, like sweat. 4. Bathroom floor very sticky, same as the rails in the hallway. 5. Poor breakfast and newspapers on the breakfast table […] were several days old. 6. Very VERY shady guests... Overall: Definitively will not come back. Pictures in the website are photoshop enhanced and the actual place does not look like it. Devamı

Hotel had no iron in room I asked for it never received it until I called back the last day. The door latch didn't work and key needed to be reset every time we entered the room at times hotel attendant had to open door for us.

The room was clean and the bed was quite comfortable. Loved the pillows. The TV however was outdated and most of the channels listed were not accessible. The A/C was quite noisy and the "free Wi-Fi" never connected. For a quick overnight stay it was worth the price. Close proximity to the freeways and LAX.

good place for one night stay and near to the airport~~

I got a reservation for this hotel because the hotels in the area I needed to go were around $200 a night (Beverly Hills). For the price, this hotel was more than adequate. I didn't require anything fancy, as long as it wasn't a no-tell hotel. The room was nice, clean, and the staff was very friendly. The shower was nice and hot with good water pressure. […] The sheets were clean and the mattress and pillows were comfortable. The heater/ AC unit worked well. The room had a small microwave oven and refrigerator, and a big CRT television with many channels, including HBO. The only problem was the location, but I was willing to deal with the inconvenience to save money. With traffic it takes you a while to get downtown, but it's really not that far away (6 miles). It's really close to the airport, so that aspect was convenient. Plus, it was right next door to a CVS, with many inexpensive restaurants around as well. The area it is in is not great, but it's not bad either. Overall it was affordable, more than acceptable, and within a reasonable distance from where I needed to go. Staff is very professional and nice. I stay here everytime I come to Lawndale from Salt Lake very pleased with the hotel.

This is a good hotel as long as you realize that it is just a place to bed down for the night. The hotel is easy to get to with easy access to I405. It is located in an industrial/commercial area, but it did not appear to be a bad area. The hotel is not freestanding but part of a streetfront strip of shops which was a bit of a surprise for me. I did […] not have problems with any noise from the street though. The room was clean, if a bit simple. There was a fridge and a microwave which was convenient. The hotel's free WiFi was a big plus. this hotel did the trick for us. we were not expecting a lot and we got what we paid for. The manager is great and has a good attitude. He went out of his way to help us. I enjoyed being able to do some laundry and get some snacks out of their machines. Breakfast was simple and good. Our room was tidy and the area is quiet - I only wish the hot tub […] was hot. I liked da room view to da street, and also da location.

Old Motel, old small style, had a frig and microwave, but in need of remodel. I spent 14 dollars more for a large suite with everything you could think of 30 miles away.

Very bad hotel. Rooms are ran down condition. Checked into hotel. TV's 1990's style. Furniture old.Room #1 Bathroom Fan excessively loud when turning on light. Tub mildewed Good pointsr. Staff was courteous. Just seemed like a ghetto hotel

I booked the king room based on the photo there is a Jacuzzi inside the room. There isn't.

The clerk was really rude, when me and my wife checked in.

What we found on the floor next to the bed was disgusting. How a staff person could miss that is unbelievable. The breakfast bar was not a breakfast at all! Just some old breakfast snacks on a small counter top in the smallest lobby I've ever experienced.

The room (202, King suite) would have been better had it not been a studio room. There was no way to turn on a light without disturbing others. Also, the toilet was leaking from the tank, so towels were required to prevent from slippage. The area was okay and was pretty close to the freeway. So for the money, the room isnt bad. Hotel is great if you want quick access to the freeway and to a major mall. Not too many restaurants in the area but McDonalds is next door along with CVS Pharmary Drug Store (closes at 10 pm)

Overall we had a great stay. Room was clean & staff was very friendly. Would stay again if in the area.

Desk Clerk, Ash, reminded me what customer service is about. In a friendly and efficient wayl, he went above and beyond to make sure that all was satisfactory.

I stay in a room with 2 Queen beds enough for 2 adults and 2 children. Nice and cosy with free parking. Not a bad hotel considering its attractive price

Holes in bed sheets, stinky sink, very noisy fan and air conditioner, inadequate sound insulation. Clean bed sheets, comfortable bed, quite and secure location, spacious bathroom.

Overall the hotel is in a rundown neighbourhood and is somewhat run down in unto itself. I would not return nor would I agree the proximity to the airport is what is claimed.

Nice enough and convenient. Clean. Decent price. Only complaint is the darn pillows. Why do some hotels use those ridiculous marshmallow pillows?

This is your typical motel. It was great location to stay near to the airport before picking up our car and leaving LA, if we were staying in LA longer I would not stay here, but it was cheap and clean. It isn’t in the best of locations, but if you get a taxi down to Manhattan Beach there are plenty of bars and restaurants. The rooms were ok, haven’t […] been updated for a while but not dirty. Have stayed here before. Good value, close to L.A. Airport, close to large shopping mall (Target - Nordstrom) and easy freeway access. A couple of fast-food restaurants are a short walk, otherwise a car is necessary. Friendly, helpful front desk staff.

Overall a decent stay. Rooms are large and clean. Room service & cleaning were good. Beds were comfortable. Located in Lawndale it is better if you have a car to get around. Complimentary breakfast is minimal, may be a pastry, coffee or OJ so it's definitely wise to travel up the road. Great for a last minute budget hotel.

My family a I enjoyed our stay here while we took in many of the LA sights. We felt comfortable here, the room was clean, the staff here are great. This of course is not a five star hotel, but your not paying for that type of quality. You will however, be satisfied for the amount you pay and what you receive. The front desk man was very welcoming and helpful. Even though the elevator was broken for a few hours and I had a lot of stuff that needed to be brought up to my room, they helped me with this big machine they had onsite for painting. Nice bed. Big room. Parking is tight but it all worked out fine. Overall I had a good experience.

The changing knob for shower was broken. I think it's better to make good check sheet for maintenance. But front guy is friendly. There was no big issues. And it's good to stay for men to save money.

The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The hotel have a big parking lot. It was a nice time.

My room was nice, clean and comfortable. Only bother was that there were maintenance workers outside most of day fixing the rails on the hotel, and were really noisy.

Hotel was good for layover at LAX. Other than that, it was just a basic hotel with a bed (price was doable). And it's nowhere near a beach, so don't book it with that in mind.

I had to go to Los Angeles for a couple of days for a training. This place was really easy to find off of 405 and in a good place for me to find something to eat and get on the hwy quickly. I was a litle nervous about this place because I read mixed reviews. After my own stay there I can say that all of those bad reviews are from people who were expecting […] the Hilton while paying for the Days Inn. My experience was great. When I walked in the room it was really hot, but even in my own home I do not run the AC if I'm not home. I left the door open for a couple of mintues and the room was just fine. The AC worked, I had cable, the bed was clean and the bathroom was immaculate. For the price I paid for my room I couldn't ask for more. The room was great for me. If I had my kids there I might have wanted a place with a pool, but I didn't so it wasn't a big deal at all. Ninfa, the lady at the front desk, was extremely helpful and funny. She deserves a raise! She told me right away that their breakfast was nothing fancy or big. She explained what it was and I said that was fine. She mentioned how some people get very upset and expect a lot more but really people, we paid for a Days Inn, not the Hilton. My stay there was great and when I misplaced my room key the guy at the desk that night was very helpful and quick to verify who I was and give me another key. Overall, great stay! Next time I need a place to stay I will be happy to book the Days Inn. Devamı

I was pleased with the location and service here. Very helpful staff. Well-stocked rooms, a little shabby, but clean. Decent neighborhood, for being so close to the airport. We walked to a local market for food. Comfy bed, nice jacuzzi downstairs. I would definitely stay here again!

Ash, the man at the counter who helped us at check in was extremely friendly and professional. He helped us find a great breakfast spot the next morning and made our stay enjoyable. Thanks!

I was just passing through and was looking for a simple room that was clean and had free parking. Days Inn was the perfect choice for what I wanted and the neighborhood was safer than I expected. It is next to a CVS which made things easy. Friendly counter people made things pleasant. Would do again!

The hotel was conveniently located, and the price is great. Rooms where clean, nice. Not a 5 star, but considering the price, I'd recommend to anyone.

Perfect for the airport, very friendly staff and coffee and muffins on check out for breakfast. Totally value for money, rooms clean and comfortable.

We enjoyed a nights stay after flying into LAX late at night. Everything was quite enjoyable pleasant staff clean room decent area. Reasonable price attracted me would recommend to others.

I've stayed here many times, and while it's not a luxury hotel, for the money it's well worth the price. It's conveniently located and the personnel are polite and helpful.

Do not stay!!! Their was prostitutes all over the hotel. It's a drug infested area. No where near LAX.

For the price we had to pay for this place the rooms were very very small and there was not enough parking if you tried to go into the bathroom you could not open the front door. I will not stay there ever again
