Room was very comfortable and bright with a nice bathroom. Staff were very helpful. Nice touch having an umbrella in your room to use if raining. We were a little disappointed with the Kitano, especially for a four star hotel. There was nothing very awe-inspiring or Asian, and for the money you could stay in a nicer place. It was just a basic cookie-cutter chain type hotel. The staff was mixed. When we got out of the cab upon arrival they didn't really help with the bags or open doors. Once […] inside they did take our bags, but disappeared, so we had to grab them and carry them ourselves, which wasn't a big deal - just a little odd. The room we were offered was clean, but pretty worn, so we asked to change rooms. Oddly enough they ended up giving us a room with "a view" of industrial vents vs the street view we had before. The condition of the rooms was about the same. I was afraid to complain again, because they probably would have put us in the basement. The service was decent on the last day, so maybe we had bad luck in that regard; however, I wouldn't really recommend the hotel as anything special. If you can get a good price and are just looking to be in the city, then it's probably OK, but if you are looking for a unique New York experience - this wouldn't be the the place. Devamı

Clean, great service and affordable price for NY. Will stay there again.

Overall the hotel and accomodations were excellent. location, decor, ambiance were just great. Have stayed at the Kitano a number of times, and have never had a complaint.

Room did not have adequate lighting and was very smoky. I also would like a coffee pot in the room, not just tea. Location was great, and the staff was very courteous.

What a great stay! This Hotel is the best place I've stayed in a long time. Great staff, very attentive but not over the top. The lobby and rooms were outstanding. The room was very sound proofed so we did not hear the street noise at all. Great 5th Ave location, you cannot go wrong with a stay here. We will definately go back to the Hotel Kitano.

Since this hotel was a block from the Grand Hyatt, and almost half of the price for a three day stay, I wasn't sure what to expect. In fact, the rate was low enough that I was thinking I would have to deal with closet sized rooms and mold in the bathroom. This hotel gave me a wonderful surprise! The greeting at the front desk was first rate - they […] even remembered me from calling a few nights before and had some extra things for me on hand without my needing to ask again! The room was a nice size and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was also large and looked newly redone. The room service was very reasonably priced, and didn't include a ridiculous amount of surcharges. I plan to stay at the Kitano every time I am back in Midtown. The hotel was very nice, i had asked for a non-smoking work and when I arrived at 10am my non-smoking room was not available, I was offered an upgrade room that was a smoking room. I took it because I did not want to wait for a non-smoking room.

An absolute bargain for Manhattan- right in the centre of midtown and within easy walking distance of many of the sights. Hotel is pristine and the service was excellent- I would definitely recommend

The hotel definitely met our expectations. Very tranquil and quiet stay, efficient and friendly staff, excellent location. We were very happy with the experience.

I had read very good reviews of this hotel and it lived up to expectations. The room itself was a decent size for NY and with a very comfortable bed, desk, two armchairs and a kettle with green tea provided. The decor was simple, elegant and calming and I must say I did prefer it to boutique hotels we have stayed in on previous visits to NY. The bathroom […] was a good size too and very clean. Hotels may say they are 4 star but then when you look down at the sink, 9 times out of 10, around the stopper has not been cleaned properly. That was how clean it was! Check in and check out process was very efficient and overall staff were responsive although we did not eat there. Location is perfectly situated in midtown area so is a good base to explore the Island and is in a quieter area just behind Grand Central station. The Kitano staff is excellent and always ready to make your stay pleasant. Chairs in the rooms are somewhat small, but all else is first class. Very quiet!

深夜過ぎにチェックインしたのですが、レセプションの方の対応がいつも丁寧で安心します。ただ、24時間のルームサービスが無く、ちょっとした食べ物が無かったのが玉にきず。でもまた泊まりたいです。

安心、安全、帰るとホットする。日本食も外出せずに食べられる。便利。マンハッタンの中心部まで歩いて１０分位。道中は安全。朝食の、サケ、味噌汁、海苔は日本食の好きな人には最適。

今回4/10～4/15まで宿泊しました。３人（50代、60代）で２部屋でしたが、同じフロアにしてもらったり、持って行ったＰＣがなかなかインターネットにつなげないなどの細かい希望に快く対応してくれました。ＰＣの件は主人の会社のＰＣのセキュリティの問題だと思います。 サポートに来てくれた技術の方は英語でしたが、通訳に日本語を話すスタッフがついてくれました。 私達はみな英語ができないので、とても助かりました。 場所もグランドセントラルに近く夜遅くブロードウェイから地下鉄で戻っても大丈夫でした。 何事もなければ英語が苦手でもいいですが、いざというときやはり安心でした。 ホテル前のパークアヴェニューの八重桜がとてもきれいでした。

立地も良く、深さのあるバスタブでゆったり休めます。テレビではＮＨＫが一日中放送され、日本の新聞もサービスしていただきました。日本人のフロント、コンシェルジェがいて親切、心強いホテルです。一方、日本人ビジネスマンの方の滞在も多いのか、これまでに泊まったマンハッタンの他のホテルよりも日本の宿泊客に会う確率も高く、ホテルのスタッフと日本語で話していると「ここはどこ？ニューヨークだったっけ？」なんて思ったりもしました。ニューヨークに来ていると言うワクワク感？を求める方には少し物足りないかも。逆に安心、快適さを重視される方にはお勧めです。

従業員の対応も概ね良好。地下鉄駅(grand central)からも近く外出に便利。ブロードウエイも徒歩可能圏内。 場所がとにかく良い。 NYにしては部屋が広い。風呂、トイレ日本人好みの清潔さ。問題点：やや高い、インスタントコーヒーにも課金。

ニューヨークに行くときはこのホテルに泊まることにしています。今回も、朝9時前に到着しましたが、部屋に入れました。従業員の方も、みな親切です。次回もまたここに泊まるつもりです。ただ、新聞は日本の新聞にするか、英語の新聞にするかはチェックインの際に質問してくれた方がいいです。日本人だから自動的に日本語の新聞を持ってくるというのは、いささか時代遅れだと思います。

北野ホテルに初めて宿泊しました。何と言ってもジャズクラブが素晴らしかったです。演奏だけでなく、日本女性の木目細やかな応対、ボリューム一杯のフレンチフライも忘れられません。次回NYに出張する時も必ず北野ホテルでジャズを楽しみたいと思っています。今後ともジャズクラブの一層の発展を祈念致します。

チェックイン時間前の到着でしたが、部屋に入れてくれたのはいいのですが、案内もなく一人で行きました。一見清潔そうにみえたのですが、スリッパのビニールは埃まみれで全体的に埃っぽかったです。 ホテル全体も古い感じがしました。 友人たちとレストラン白梅を利用しました。こちらは、味も接客も申し分なかったです。カフェも朝食で利用しました。こちらは、味は普通ですが、スタッフの方はとてもよかったです。 しかし、フロントやドアマンは普通、一流ホテルとは思えませんでした。

JFK空港に朝6時半ごろ着きました。部屋には入れない覚悟で8時半ごろとりあえず荷物を預かってもらおうとホテルに向かいました。フロントはそんな我々を温かく迎えてくれ、なんと部屋の清掃が終わっているかチェックし、空いていると言って部屋に入れてくれました。機内でよく眠れなかった我々はおかげさまでシャワーを浴び、部屋で仮眠をとることができ、お昼はすっきりした頭で出かけることができました。ありがとうございました。

とても清潔でお部屋も広々していて泊まって良かったです。 受付には日本語を話すスタッフがいたので安心でした。

シャワーヘッドが汚かったのでフロントに連絡したがすぐ交換してくれてお詫びとしてフルーツが部屋に置いてあった。 部屋全体はとても快適だった。

今回はBOSTONで6泊した後だっただけに、日本食も食べられるこのホテルにして正解でした。 NYは休暇でしたので、観光にも便利、部屋も落ち着いている。アメニティーも揃っている。快適なホテルでした。 連日の雨の中、ホテルのベルボーイさんが毎回タクシーを一生懸命世話してくれたのには感謝しています。 こちらの都合でNYに早く着いたので、追加希望を出していたツインの部屋は無理でしたが、早々に部屋に通してくれたのでゆっくりできました。 今度NYに行く時も利用したいです。

Hotellet låg ok på Park strax nedanför Grand Central. Både lobby och rum var kanon. I hotellet fanns en trevlig jazzbar med livemusik flera kvällar i veckan. Kan absolut tänka oss att återvända hit igen. Mycket trevligt hotell.

3月21日から2泊しました。13時ごろの到着だったのですが、問題なくチェックインできました。ロケーションはグランドセントラル駅から3分ほど、エンパイアステートビルへも5分ほどで歩ける距離の、ミッドタウンのいいところです。部屋はそれほど大きくはないですが快適で、3日間とても快適に過ごせました。料金も、ＮＹのミッドタウンではリーズナブルだと思います。あまり安いホテルはセキュリティに難がありそうなので、それを考えると高いとはぜんぜん感じません。 また、特にフロントとコミュニケーションをとることはありませんでしたが、いざとなると日本語が通じるという安心感は、日本人旅行者には心強いものだと思います。 次回、ＮＹを訪れる時にはまた宿泊したいホテルのひとつです。

Excellent hôtel d'une élégance sobre et raffinée - très bien placé au coeur de Manhattan, tout près de Grand Central Station (pratique pour le métro). Personnel et clientèle essentiellement japonais. Chambre extrêmement silencieuse et assez spacieuse - salle de bain spacieuse - lit très confortable - aucune odeur de tabac dans la chambre, placée à un […] étage entièrement non-fumeurs, attention aux chambres non-fumeurs placées aux étages mixtes furmeurs/non-fumeurs, on peut y sentir l'odeur de tabac (j'ai eu la chance de pouvoir choisir ma chambre en arrivant). Petit-déjeuner très varié mais un peu cher - excellent jazz tous les soirs (je crois) au bar de l'hôtel,où on peut diner pour un prix tout à fait raisonnable (goûter les sushis, la chicken quesadilla, le red velvet cake...délicieux). Idéal pour se détendre après une journée fatigante. Personnel très aimable. Je le recommande absolument à toute personne recherchant la tranquillité à Manhattan. On n'entend pas la musique des chambres (la mienne était au 7eme étage...) . Si on veut dîner pour pas cher à côté de l'hôtel, se faire indiiquer le diner tout neuf situé à quelques pas de l'hôtel. Ce n'est pas un hôtel du style "super branché très design" mais plutôt "moderne international". J'y retournerai sans hésiter pour le confort et le silence parfait de la chambre, ainsi que pour l'emplacement idéal de l'hôtel.. Devamı

Fantastiskt hotell med mycket bra service. Rent, väl omhändertaget hotell med serviceinriktad och trevlig personal. Så fort man ringde efter något fick man hjälp inom ett par minuter. Supersköna sängar och tack vare soundproof windows så var det helt tyst i rummet och det betyder mycket i New York! Hotellet har också en trevlig liten souvenirbutik nere […] i lobbyn. Genom hotels.com fick vi toppenbra pris på rummet, och blev tilldeleade ett rum på femtonde våningen med utsikt över Empire State Builing. Jag och min man firade dessutom bröllopsdag där, vilket gjorde att personalen skickade upp en fruktkorg med ett grattiskort i. Mycket imponerad av detta hotell! Devamı

Me and my wife stayed for a leisure trip at the Kitano. The staff was very friendly and helpful organizing not only the hotel stay, but also some additional activities (e.g. US Open tickets). The room is well equipped, has flat TV and sufficient room to store belongings for a 7 days stay. Internet is extra unfortunately but there are enough free wireless […] networks around outside. The Kitano is in walking distance to most midtown attractions and is just three blocks away from Grand Central which links to many subway lines. We enjoyed staying there and would come back, especially if some crisis-related special offers would continue as the price of the room was extremely attractive compared to other NYC hotels Devamı

Vi sov 10 nätter på Kitano Hotel och vi kan verkligen rekommendera det. Det är ett lungt och mycket välskött hotell på manhattan. Hotellet ligger i ett bra område med gångavstånd till det mesta och är en bra utgångspunkt för att upptäcka staden. Och om man inte orkar att gå så ligger grand central station 5 min från hotellet. The hotel had a very high standard, room was really cozy and well-decorated. Perfect location in Midtown Manhattan, definetely will recommend to stay here.
