Hampton Inn Fairfax City - Fairfax

Our stay was quite pleasant, the room was clean and comfortable. We were a short drive to the Metro Station (make sure you get to the Metro before 09:15 to get a parking space). The shower could have used a hand wand. The complementary breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold items, including fresh fruit.

This is one of the best affordable hotels close to GMU the breakfast is great and the beds are very comfortable.

This hotel is a 30 minute Metro ride to central Washington but the system is convenient and reasonably cheap. Staff at the hotel were excellent

Our room was at the street and heard street noise all night. Ask for a room towards the back; away from the street. Otherwise, everything was great! Lobby was under construction during our stay. We did not hear any noise from the Lobby.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. We booked it because of its location. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was great. Rooms were very comfortable great king size beds. We enjoyed our time siteseeing and hotel was convienient to the metro.

This is a nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff, but there is no pool and we had 2 of our grandchildren with us and it would have been nice to be able to take them swimming. The neighborhood was not the greatest. The breakfast was very good and, again, friendly, helpful staff in the dining room.

Too old needs maintenance.

The hotel in Fairfax was close to a lot of eating places and very convenient.

No Pool indoors or out. Big Disappointment

Excellent location for vacationing familities to Wasgington DC area.

In a nice neighborhood outside of DC. We stayed here and drove inot the city since it was half the price as an in city hotel. It worked out great. Nice staff, good breakfast, clean room.

People in this hotel are very good and it was a fantastic stay 5 stars all the way.

Chose this hotel for the price and recommendations online. It is a great value for the price. Gave it a 4 for comfort because found the room a little snug, but overall my family and I found it to be a good place. Not very close to Washington, DC but we planned our route accordingly, closeness to I-66 was a plus. We left in the a.m. and did not come […] back until after 10 p.m. each day. The dining room is small but comfortable and the service was great. Staff was friendly and kept replenishing the food trays. In addition to the free breakfast, hotel offered round-the-clock coffee/tea, fresh apples, and miscellaneous candy. This particular weekend the Rolling Thunder Rally was being held in DC and our hotel was filled with Veterans and their motorcycles, yet the atmosphere was not loud or unruly. The hotel management team accommodated them by allowing them to stage a gathering area in front of hotel, they were drinking and talking but there were no incidents, that I am aware of. We really got a kick of their awesome bikes and cool t-shirts. So grateful for their service. All in all, I'd recommend this hotel and stay there again. About the only thing that could have made our stay a more enjoyable one would have been an indoor or outdoor pool. Since the hotel didn't offer it, we didn't feel compelled to come back early...we just spent time elsewhere...and isn't that why we go on vacation anyway? Devamı

This Hampton inn was clean, modern, quiet, and the front desk was very welcoming. Unfortunately I need a supportive mattress and I found an old, saggy one. Breakfast was very complete with scrambled eggs, hash browns, muffins, and yogurt. For me the value was not there, solely because of a very worn mattress in an otherwise modern room.

We had a great time and really enjoyed our hotel and the breakfast was great as well. The staff were very friendly.

Overall, we were very pleased with the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Check in was quick, and since we paid upfront through hotels.com, we didn't even have to do anything to check out. The room was clean and had lots of lamps so it was well lit, which is important to me. There is a simple, but well-kept exercise room with a TV that […] I was able to set to my liking (since I was the only guest working out at the time). My only complaints are that the bed was a bit softer than I would like, and on two days there was an odd vinegar-like odor in the parking lot. Devamı

This hotel has great service and is in a great location. There are many resturants to choose from. It is close to metro rail and makes traveling to DC easy. The staff is very helpful and always treats you well and with a smile. The only thing that was different from other Hampton Inns that we stayed at is an addtional amount for the second person. I […] checked for 2 adults for 1 night. the price was good, but when I went to check out , additional funds was charged for the 2nd person. This is a beautiful hotel and a good place to stay.
