Traveling with 3 kids, I decided to stay at this hotel instead of the Hyatt Place based on the picture provided when I booked the room. A king size bed with a loft area. The hotel was nice. However, the upstairs bathroom was not working in our hotel suite so 4 people had to share a small bathroom. This move happened after our first hotel room had left over trash and a very stained mattress on the pull-out sofa. Also the coffee pot and microwave did not work. UUUgghh! Nice suite. This hotel was very clean and well maintained. The breakfast was not good and didn't extend the full time as advertised. The door to the room was hard to shut and open. We were happy with the overall stay and would stay there again (eating breakfast at the nearby Dennys)!

good place .. very friendly staff.. they just need to improve on the b'fast..

When we checked in the front desk clerk was rude.felt insulted.the room was dirty;bathrooms were even dirty.wifi didn't work.when complained about the wifi they promised to fix it never did.the hairdryer or lights upstairs didn't work.smoke detector was hanging by a thread.also our hotel room faced the resturant next door and u can see people eating […] and people could see in your room when they were eating. I wouldn't recommened this hotel to anyone.or will I ever stay there again. Devamı

Construction in the lobby. rooms not secure, do not like outside entrances.

Che cked in late, had to bang on the door as the attendant was asleep after 20 minutes he finally came to open for with an attitude as if I'm not supposed to be there..Get to my room stinks like...and to top it off no toilet paper for my wife..pooooor reinvention of a motel not Hotel..NEVER NEVER NEVER AGAIN!!!

The hotel was very clean, The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a medical emergency and were close to urgent care and hospital. The staff was very helpful.

At the time we stayed in this hotel it lacked many of the things we expect at Hawthorn. The workout room was not functioning, the WIFI did not work for 3 days, and the room key card malfunctioned 4 times - which caused us to go back and forth to the front desk each time. The very spacious suite which also had a kitchen had a wall that was painted a […] strange color of blue that did not go with the other decor. Now the positive: This is a great location near restaurants, malls, 3 minutes from the medical center and 1 minute from Interstate 10. The rooms are comfortable. They have a great breakfast buffet which in included in the price. Perhaps after Hawthorne has time to renovate this hotel will be a really good place to stay. Devamı

Our room was quite large, with a small porch, a fireplace & a full (well-equipped) kitchen. The location was convenient to i-10 and only a 10-15 minute drive from downtown, the airport & Sea World. There were a number of reliable chain restaurants nearby, as well as convenient stores & gas stations. In spite of its convenience, the location was very […] quiet all night. After checking in we quickly found this was not a great place to stay at all. This place had been a different hotel before and Wyndham took over. It appears they tried to make some improvements, but without a complete redo it failed. The only positives some might find are granite countertops in the kitchen and bath and stainless appliances in the kitchen […] with a water saving toilet, but that is where the positives end. The stainless appliances had a dirty exterior. A utensil holder on the kitchen counter had what appeared to be dried pasta sauce on it. There was no trash bag in the kitchen trashcan. Half of the broiler pan was missing which made it unusable. Although dishwasher detergent tabs were included, I was afraid to use them as the dishwasher tipped back and forth and made me wonder if the water would leak. There was no laundry bag. The television did not have the option for pay per view/on demand or even a DVD player. The bath tub was clogged and drained very slowly. The lighting over the vanity was too big that the installers had to angle them to make them fit. There is wallpaper trying to hide all the blemishes of the walls but not doing a good job. There is also bright bold royal blue paint on the wall and popcorn ceiling with hideous dark carpet trying to hide stains, but I found a crusty red stain just outside the bathroom. There is stained ceilings and patches and dirty doors, frames, walls and chips out of doors. Poor location of the nightstand as it blocked the walkway to the bathroom. The bathroom was tiny. You had to close the door before you could use the toilet otherwise, you couldn't close it. There was another soap dish added in the shower at just the right height for people to hit it with their elbows everytime they bathe. The cheap sheets and blanket don't fit across the king size bed. The thermostat is finicky and difficult to use. When we contacted the front desk regarding the thermostat and letting them know we were cold they told us to con Devamı

We found hair (not ours) in the bed sheets, the tv was very snowy, the a/c was pre set, and we could not adjust it whithout calling the front desk. the front door had a medium size gap.

Three good restaraunts in walking distance. Reliviely quiet location. Nice staff that I can easily trust to clean my room. Studio apartment sized room. Only complaint was a noisy bath fan and bent shower curtain rod. Maid even did the few dishes that I left dirty. I left a tip every day. Ill stay here next time I am in town :-)

Stayed in this hotel for 5 nights during our move and apt hunting in SAn Antonio. Loved it.. Staff is extremely pleasant. Love the room, spacious, fully equipped kitchen... Flat screen TV.. This hotel is located right off of the highway I-10 making commute easier to most places.. Breakfast is good, clean, neat and you have variety tooo! Loved the stay, […] I wouldn't stay in any other place but this.. I am not big on eating out, so i loved the fully equipped kitchen, but if you are , then you will find a lot of places near by good restaurants located very close.. For the price, I was very satisfied. It is one block off of the I-10 frontage road in a semi-secluded location. Easy walk to the Alamo Cafe and a reasonable walk to other restaurants. Ample parking. It is seemingly a little older property which has been adequately maintained. Has a pool, an outdoor grill and sitting area,laundry room, and a surprisingly […] good full breakfast with lots of choices. Easy to access I-10, or take a right on Wurzbach to get to Medical Center. My suite was quite comfortable and reasonably quiet. On the day I checked out, I met the owner or manager, who was a very nice gentleman. This place looks like it was renovated from Studio Apartments or something, we were very happy with our room and stay. The Full size kitchen and all the amenities were excellent. The breakfest was good, only wisy there was a little more variety. The only small issue there we had was the Spa was not working... There is plenty of restaraunts around if […] you want to eat out, and a store 5 minutes away for snacks... Very pleased and would stay there again!!! Devamı

We got the hotel for the weekend and all I have to say is WOW! perfect location about 15 minutes from downtown and less than 10 from Six flags Fiesta Texas. The location is right in front of an HEB and many more restaurants so it is very convenient . Despite being off the highway it is very quiet and peaceful. We were here for the weekend to go to Seaworld, Fiesta Texas and the riverwalk. It was a great location and very close to all those places. We had the king suite and it was great. Lots of room.

The desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, they weren't very effective at scheduling a maid to come by if they had skipped your room because of a "do not disturb" sign. Even when we called to request maid service, they never showed. I eventually just went to the front desk to get clean towels and toiletries myself. The room was clean but the vacuuming left to be desired. On three separate days there was no hand soap or shampoo left in the room. But all in all I would stay there again because the price is right.

excellent hotel, only problem is when we checked in, the front disk guy was so drunk, but really everything else was amazingly good.

I have found a place where I can get away from everyone, yet stay in an area where everything is in just reach of walking and doing. The problem list in the other reviews, may have been there before, but place is really a great place to stay. In an overall the full size kitchen was a plus, was able to cook a home cook meal. The comfort of this room […] was perfect. My only concern was the people who came in on my last day were too loud, but other than that great hotel, recommended on my Facebook page and website. Oh wireless internet wow; we had to laptops and not a problem with the speed of them. I was able to attend to my needs as well as my spouse her needs. Thank you all for being a great hotel. Devamı

The hotel was in a great location, close to a main highway. Our room was clean and spacious. It had a full kitchen, including a full-size stove and oven. The staff was friendly and helpful. My only compliant would be that the complimentary breakfast is only until 9am. Other than that, it was great. We will definetly stay there again.

We really enjoyed this hotel. We stayed in the penthouse, which is multi-level, so my child could sleep upstairs while my wife and I could stay downstairs and not have to worry about keeping him awake. For issues concerning the room, the manager came immediately and fixed one and scheduled maintenance to fix the next day. HBO did not work, poor quality foods for breakfast, could not plug bathtub for a bath, someone else's hair on my "clean" towels. Very dissatisfied--I will never return to this hotel.

This is an older building, but we'll maintained as well as upgraded. The mattress was very comfortable. The full kitchen is a plus. The staff was responsive, as the wireless service, for my building, was out. This issue could not be resolved without a room change, until Monday. I kept the room, as it was comfortable. Additionally, the cleaning person […] that cleaned the room the day after my first night's stay was excellent. The room smelled as fresh as it looked clean. A real treat. The following two days the room looked clean, but did not have the fresh smell of the previous day. I will definitely stay again, but will check my wireless connection, plus request the person who cleaned the room the first time, as they were, two different cleaning people. Devamı
