Victory Hotel - Stockholm

The staff were so friendly and helpful, the room was beautifully decorated, Breakfast was fantastic, and the entire stay was wonderful, I really can't recommend this hotel enough.... Oh, and we were lucky to have a beautifully sunny weekend, so we made full use of the lovely sun terrace.

Great place. Super stylish and quirky at the same time. Stellar staff... They left me a special gift in my room to welcome me. Breakfast was good too. Staying in that part of Stockholm is SO convenient. A bit touristy, but that's the fun of it. I will definitely stay there again.

I have no difficulty whatsoever in recommending the Victory Hotel as an excellent choice in Stockholm.Furthermore,booking through hotels.com was a very good decision.The reservation was accurate and , as expected,the hotel had been fully paid prior to our arrival.

Very nice hotel in good location very near underground with easy access to city and other areas. Main strength is that the staff are absolutely excellent,friendly and went out of their way to help efficiently, able to give advice re places to visit etc.

Charming and quirky, lots of memorabilia - but works ok for a business trip as very central to Gamla Stan ( central old town ). Nice breakfast with some personal touches. Cobbled streets, little traffic immediately outside (but some distant traffic noise with the windows open - really what you expect in centre - did not disturb my sleep)

After staying at larger brand name hotels, I found this to be a wonderful alternative. The hotel staff were gracious, room was small but very comfortable, breakfast was terrific and it was easy access to the T and local dining.

Spent a night at the Victory over Easter. Found out on arrival that the parking garage was closed for the weekend, that the road in front of the hotel was under construction making access difficult, and that the restaurant was also closed for the weekend-except for breakfast. Quirky hotel in great location in Old Town. Food excellent in restaurant. Rooms all like ships cabins. Only downside was lack of a lounge area.

Hotel was great, excellent breakfast and very nice staff all round. Only downer was its attached 'speciality' meat restaurant, which was very disappointing and expensive for a poor small portioned meal - not recommended.

The Victory Hotel is very convenient to all the tourist sites in Stockholm. Reasonably priced. Rooms a bit small but lots of character.

As long as there's an offer on this hotel it should not be missed. It's a four star hotel and feels special. It's named after Nelson's ship. He fought a battle in the area in about 1801 ish, defending British Empire's shipping rights. He was quite horrible so why they have commemorated him with 3 hotels I don't know. The family who set up these boutique […] hotels must be rich as they are next to the Royal Palace. There is The Lady Hamilton, The Nelson and The Victory. The best is The Victory, then The Nelson, then The Lady Hamilton, in my opinion. So, it's a great location, central to all sights and shops. We just spent five fabulous days at the Victoru inStockholm. The hotel was lovely, cosy, warm, with a gorgoeus room. Very swedish touches and comfortable rather than a bland chain hotel. Comforatble and with a great breakfast. Stockholm was fantastic one of the most beautiful cities I have visited and though cold (minus11C!) it looked stunning in snow. Must […] sees are the Vasa Museum, Historic Museum, Prins Eugens Warsumuddee Art Gallery , Nordic Gallery and the Modern Art Gallery. Wirstroms Pub near the hotel was great with live music and Siam was lovely! . I loved the atmosphere in the hotel, the collection of ship memorablia made it quite special. All the staff were excellent, breakfast was a better than average smorgasbord. Perfect location (Old town/Gamla Stan) with easy access to metro. Room was small even by European standards and I was on top floor so my ceiling was sloped, cutting off about half the usable space. Decent breakfast but you have to ask for hot food which they are happy to bring to your table.

A very nice European style hotel. Personal and intimate. The rooms were quite small. However, it was clean, well decorated, cozy and functional. This hotel was in a great location. It has a very "antique" feel to it, so it is more like a B&B in feeling. The bathtub in our room was very high and difficult to get in and out of, so that could be a concern for some older guests.

I visited for work, it was not your typical 'work' hotel but was in a very good location. The style of the hotel is kind of wierd but everything was clean and had everything you need. I would recommend it for those going away for a long wkend etc

Har tidigare bott på Lady Hamilton och Lord Nelson i samma kedja och som även de ligger i gamla stan. Men huj vilken skillnad. Alla drag med sjöfart går igen på alla tre men det känns som att de sparat in på både hantverkare, städare och vaktmästare på de andra hotellen för det är en rejäl klasskillnad på dem mot Victory. Mycket bra hotell. Ingen kritik men jag kan ge förslag på att bli bättre. En kanallista till TV skulle underlätta. Alla hotell talar om att man inte får röka. Men inget talar om var man får. De nya elektroniska cigaretterna som enbart avger vattenånga och smakämnen. Kan dessa användas på rummen?

Mycket trevligt rum med en inredning som passar väl med hotellets maritima stil. Rent och fräscht med sköna sängar. Letar du efter ett modernt hotell med vita väggar och glaspartier så får du leta vidare, detta är inte ditt hotell.

Hyggeligt og specielt hotel midt i den gamle bydel. Venligt og servicorienteret personale. Der var alt for varmt om natten (derfor den lave komfortscore), men det er nok en smagssag. Lækre restauranter i nærheden, men husk at booke forud hvis du kommer i weekenden.

Rigtig godt hotel med charmerende indretning i gammel søfartsstil. Beliggenheden er i top - i skønne Gamla Stan. God og indbydende morgenmadsbuffet. Eneste minus var signalet på WIFI, som ikke var så kraftigt.

Hotelli on kotoisa ja mielenkiintoisesti sisustettu. Sijainti on Gamla stanin tunnelbana-aseman lähettyvillä rauhallisen kadun varrella. Tänne voisin ihan mieluusti mennä toistekin, jäi hyvä maku suuhun. Yhden hengen huone oli pieni mutta mukava.
