The door wouldn't shut all the way towards the bottom, but still did lock. The shower was FILTHY!!!!!!!!! Hair in all over the tub..... GROSS and the shower floor pad appeared moldy.

The bed was terrible!! I could feel every move my daughter made while sleeping. The "fitted" sheet didn't even fit the bed and kept coming up during the night. The pillows were lumpy balls!! I was very happy with the Day's Inn in Goodlettsville. The gal at the front desk that checked me in had a smile on her face which was refreshing especially after spending 14 hours driving. The room initially had a stale odor but once I turned on the air conditioner the odor disappeared. This simply was the worst hotel I ever stayed at. We open the door to the room and a refrigerator was in the entry way. There was no security latch on the door, no phone, reeked like smoke (non-smoking room) with an ashtray. The blinds to cover the window was broken and it wouldn't even cover 1/3rd of the window. The dresser drawers didn't even fit […] in the dresser. There was NO toliet seat and had dryed urine on the porcelain. I couldn't call the front desk from my room (no phone) so I called from my cell phone.. Image that, no answer. I packed my kids back into the car and drove to the front desk and asked for a new room. On arrival the foyer looked lovely with Christmas decorations giving a very false sense of security! The reception lady was fine but the room was vile. There was a large black bug sat on the top of one of the pillows, suspicious stains on the floor and bedding and cigarette burns all over the bedding too. One of the pillows was that disgusting we couldn't […] use it and we were not convinced that the rest of the bedding was totally clean either.Although 3 of the party used the shower I was not going to risk it myself it would have meant taking my footwear off. Did try the breakfast as we were in the foyer checking out, the coffee was OK and the breakfast food seemed alright although we were all so put off we didn't really bother. The man who was on the desk went outside for a cig while we were waiting to check out. Typical motel. Front desk could care less if you're there, room was just a room, breakfast was terrible.

Not much less than I expected for the money. Linens were well past there life expectancy and the blanket had holes in it. Pillows were shot 5 years ago. It served it's purpose, recharge the batteries and move on down the road. Easy access, close gas, food and other services.

maintenance of this unit has lagged behind. The steps are crumbling and although reasonably clean not the greatest. When we went to breakfast the desk person was in an adjoining room to the lobby on the internet. They ran out of tea and simply said we have been trying to get some in. This hotel was bad. Dirty room, carpet smelled like a wet dirty dog. Holes in the walls. And hookers walking the street area, also guest bringing them in. With having to have the police there. Would not recommend this place to anyone. And for a Days Inn I'm shocked how run down and nasty this place was.

Upon arrival and check in, we went to the room and checked the blankets/sheets to find that in a NON-SMOKING ROOM, the blanket had holes all over it. So we called the front desk and requested new blankets or a new room. We got a new room. The front desk attendant asked if we had pulled the blanket back up, to which we replied no and she replied, well […] I guess I'll have to go pull it back up then. That was her solution -- pull the blanket back up instead of replacing the old, hole filled blanket. Our new room was only slightly better and this time the comforter and blanket had holes and cigarette burns — just not as many, but we were exhausted and didn't want to deal with it again. Outside of the room, the stairwells were old and rust stained and in dire need of a paint job. But in the end, it was super cheap and I guess we got what we paid for – a cheap, crappy hotel. Devamı

Hotel staff were very very nice. We were there for 3 nights. We have been used to staying in 3/4 star hotels or resorts, but since I recently lost my corporate job we decided to take a trip on a budget this year so we took my car instead of our SUV (double the mpg), eat mostly fast food, and stay at 2-star hotels. Room was not cleaned very well, we had 2 rooms and both had items under the beds. The air is not turned on until you get there, the room never did cool down, it was a very hot night.

The rooms were in severe need of repair. Drywall tape was coming off, carpet was coming up, base board and corners were dirty and the door didn't seal, you could see outside!

As soon as I got to the room, the key wouldn't work. When I got that situated out, my friend and I were sitting our stuff down and then found a pair of dirty boxers in the bathroom. While I went to tell the person at the front desk about this, my friend had removed the covers and saw that they were dirty and stained and then ended up killing a spider […] on the bed! We called Expedia and thankfully got a full refund. The best thing that I can say about this hotel is that the person that was at the front desk was friendly and understanding. Devamı

I think I would definately stay again. We wanted something safe, affordable and close to area attractions but lacked the over inflated prices. It isn't the Ritz but its a great value!

The staff was very friendly even though we arrived later in the evening. We were given our reserved room very promptly. Upon entering the first thing I noticed was a pink couch with lots of dark stains on it. The couch was horribly uncomfortable! Fred Flintstone's couch was softer. The bed seemed clean but the bathroom/vanity area was not. The shower […] curtain had mold on the bottom; the tub had hairs in it and dried dirty water splashes down the side of the shower from the built-in soap dish. (I took pictures, than cleaned everything before showering)The toilet seat had a missing bolt so when you went to sit down it turned completely sidways(my husband found the bolt on top of the toilet lid and screwed it back in) The coffee pot had dust all over the outside and only 1 outlet was available in the room to plug in our phone charger (behind the dresser) No clock or alarm clock anywhere! We did not complain because we were gone most of the time except to sleep, but you definitely get what you paid for. Devamı

I can't believe Days Inn is leaving their branding on this hotel. Cobwebs, dirty handprints on walls, all furniture in disrepair,and electrical code violations are disturbing. No smoking rooms smelled like smoking rooms and carpet was no longer glued to floor. Major upkeep issues. Beware! I stayed here because the event for which I was in Goodlettsville was taking place literally right next door at the Marriott. However, the Marriott wanted DOUBLE the price that the Days Inn was asking. Seeing as I wasn't taking anyone with me (to impress) and needed only a clean, inexpensive, conveniently located place to stay for 2 nights, this place […] was on the money. POSITIVE NOTES: Friendly service/General Manager. Room was clean. Water pressure was awesome. A/C worked fantastically. Pool was clean. And free breakfast was plenty adequate. DRAWBACKS: Property needs renovation, updating -- lots of cracks, gaps, paint chipping, etc. Some towels, although freshly laundered, had holes in them. The deadbolt on the door worked fine, but I could see daylight shining in around the edge of the bottom of the door. If you are looking for a clean, safe, and minimal luxuries place to stay for a bargain, this place will suit you just fine. Devamı

Hotel is in dire need of updating, renovations. We spent as little time there as possible. We were not comfortable touching anything, feeling the room was crusty. Air conditioning was not working but we did not report that until check out.

not real impressed, will not be back, the room was not very appealing as it looked old and used pretty hard, the bed was terrible and the pillows sucked, there was tape on the door because there was such a gap where it shut. On the up side, the staff was nice and the neighborhood was very nice as well.
