We loved how quaint the hotel was and the staff was extremely pleasant! The room was great, beds very comfortable, just a little small for my husband who is 6'4! The location was great, 5-10 minutes from closest metro and walking distance from White House... we loved that!! DC was just a little dead on Sunday and we had such a hard time to find an affordable […] place open for lunch!! Devamı

The hotel room had no heat or hot water in the morning. It was clean but very cramped. Food is mediocre. Restaurant is nearly abandonned. Lobby is shabby. There are very few restaurants within walking distance. I would not recommend this hotel to others.

Fabulous hotel. Couldn't have a had a better experience.

really allowed us to enjoy downtown Washington well. We loved the charm and feel of the place - clean, comfortable. Only minor nit was that the pillows were "bigger" that was comfortable for us (for which we certainly have some responsibility as we didn't request "replacements")

Great service, and convenient to my meeting and Union Station (Amtrak).

This hotel is in a great location. Within walking distance to pretty much everything! The front desk provided us with a map and directions to where we needed to go along with restaurant suggestions. We walked to the Capitol, the White House, the Smithsonian and others. We never had to take a cab. Food in the restaurant was good as well.

The service people at the hotel were polite and nice. The room was clean and comfortable. However there is major construction across the street from the hotel and they begin work at 7:00am Monday thru Saturday. After a long flight and busy day hearing crains and metal plates being erected did not make for a relaxing morning.

Everything was very good about the hotel, the location, the history, the rooms, except that there was lots of construction across the street. But that's something the hotel can't help. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay.

A boutique hotel that goes the extra mile with little details. Short hallways allowing for very quite conditions inside, but they are experiencing a bit of outside noise due to a large construction project across the street. I had a top floor room which was above most of the noise. Very convenient to metro stops.

Great hotel and location. I would have rated it higher but the staff weren't very friendly. They acted inconvenienced when I asked for help and directions.

Small room & hotel, though quaint character. Bed was quite comfortable with top quality, wonderful duvet, but the pillows were un-useable for sleeping due to huge loft (8-10 inches firmly off mattress). Cleanliness was excellent. Only complaint aside from a useless pillow was the leaking toilet which ran water every 3 minutes and kept me awake from […] 3-7am. Disappointing night's sleep for sure. Perfect location for seeing a concert at the Verizon Center or just being close to downtown DC.

This hotel was a surprize discovery for us! We were looking for a hotel close to the Walter E Washington Convention Center and the Henley Hotel was a block away! Stayed multiple times here. The people are great. The bar is nice. The rooms are cozy and the metro is 2 blocks away.

Excellent location. Close to the Mall, the White House and many museums. Great service. Lovely atmosphere, which includes afternoon tea. The room was comfortable and immaculate, although the view could have been better. Nice bar with evening entertainment.

There was lots of construction going on around the hotel and with old windows the sound comes right in. There are no ice machines in the hotel so you have to ask at the bar for inc. The air conditioning did not work in my room and when asked to have repaired the staff said I did not give it enough time. Well it never cooled the room.

We were very impressed with The Henley Park. Great location, very clean and up to date rooms. Though there was construction nearby we were not bothered at all. Great all around!

hotel was beautiful and historical. It was a good ways away from the tourist locations. I would have preferred a microwave in our room vs. a referigerator stocked full of water and cokes. So full that I couldn't put my own drinks or items that needed to be refridgerated in it. I also would prefer to see the hotel make some sort of accomodations for […] a continental breakfast. There isn't any friendly place in the area close to the hotel for an out of towner to park their car on the weekends and sit down for a nice breakfast. Devamı

The room was very small. It was over 80 degrees outside and it was 85 and very hot in the room. The air conditioner was never on the two days we were there. We had to have the windows all the way open (no screens) the entire time. They gave us two fans but still could not sleep at all. For the price we paid was very upset!

A small scale, cozy hotel renovated to an updated, yet traditional style. Lovely architectural details, understated, yet elegant rooms, very comfortable and convenient to D.C. restaurants and museums. We've stayed there multiple times and have been happy with services, atmosphere and location.

My husband and I have been visiting Washington D.C. for weekends from time to time for the past three years. We have tried about six to eight different hotels, but this was our first stay at the Henley Park. We found it to be very quiet and homey feeling. Clean, unassuming and uncrowded, with free parking out front, Massachusetts Ave. on the weekend. […] We did not have a chance to dine in the dining room, but it looked nice and we plan to try it next time we visit. My wife and I had a very good time at this hotel. They let us check in at 11 AM on one of the those days. Very convenient neighborhood. Very affordable price.

In this case a small scale hotel definitely does make a difference in quality of room, service, extra's. Room was neat, clean, spacious. Number and quality of toiletries provided was unsurpassed by any hotel I have stayed at in the last few years - I travel at least once monthly. The hotel is near many sites, or only a short cab ride away. The only […] shortfall was the parking fee - currently $33 a day plus taxes - a bit steep. I have stayed at H.P. in the past and will continue to make this hotel my first choice when visiting D.C. Devamı

We enjoyed our stay at the Henley Park very much. The rooms are a little small, but the good location made up for that.

I have stayed at the Henley Park multiple times this year and each time I have had a great experience. Despite the construction of the mega hotel across the street, the hotel retains its boutique feel. The staff is warm and cannot do enough for you. The rooms are comfortable and decorated to feel like home. The beds are very comfortable. The restaurant […] has a great breakfast menu with the best french pressed coffee. For dinner you can have a lighter, less expensive menu in the bar, or a higher end menu in the restaurant. I have had both and the food is well worth it. The location is perfect for exploring DC or doing business, as I have done both in the past year. Devamı

My boyfriend and I went into the city for an anniversary getaway. The hotel is so charming. It has such a classic look and feel, just our style. In walking distance to the verizon center and other museums and attractions. I was very pleased and my boyfriend loved it. Off the top, Hotel.com staff very professional and helpful. The hotel is grand and well-appointed. Overall, we loved being there and would return. We stayed several days. The building in general is charming and dining areas glorious; food is just OK tho' expensive. Reading in parlour by the fireplace with other guests was very satisfying. With exception […] of most of the dining servers, general staff seem to need more training in customer service and keeping hotel fresh and historical at the same time. Front desk (females) seemed bored and tired. Polite requests were, more often than not, met with exasperation as if we were overasking for what we thought were 'basics', especially those advertised as amenities. A few examples to name a few: several lightbulbs dead in parlor/front room lamps; also asked to ask to have fireplace lit-- other guests in the room thanked us for getting it lit. TV in the bedroom died (it did get sorted and replaced). Valet parking (no other way to use their parking facilities) extraordinarily expensive, though convenient, at ~$35 per night. On the postive side, central location was wonderful. It was walking distance to the Mall, Smithonian American Art Museum etc. Also just out hotel's back door, there is a transit stop for the Circulator which took us to Union Station one way and Georgetown the other way for $1.00 per adult per trip!! Construction across from hotel, did not bother us; they provided earplugs which we didn't need to use. Hotel price just right and for this reason, we will return again if price remains in the same ballpark. Overall, I would give our stay a 4.5/5! Devamı

Very well located historical inn. Friendly helpful staff. Pleasantly furnished rooms with well equipped bathrooms. Clean, fresh, but the windows look directly into other rooms. The airconditioner in our room was noisy if on high. The hotel provided earplugs in case the neighbourhood was too noisy for some guests- we did not need them or find the area […] noisy. Conveniently located to most attractions or within a short taxi ride. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Devamı

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Henley! The staff were professional, the lobby small but quaint and the lounge relaxing. The jazz music on Saturday was wonderful. The location was great! I walked to all of the area attractions including the Lincoln Memorial, the White House and the Smithsonian. Will definitely return for another stay!

A lovely old historic hotel that has 5-star features and a really quanit restaurant. The one exception- the rooms along Mass. Ave need modern windows. Many guests complained about construction noise but the real problem is that the older windows provide no sound-proofing from the street. So if you are a light sleeper, ask for a room in the back of the […] hotel. Devamı
