it was a nice room book nite b4 got 2 ck in early..like the hottub with no pool will stay again

I was very disappointed. The room smelled horrid...the floors were dirty and there was even a sock left from a previous guest. My bed squeaked so each time I moved my daughter woke up. The floor upstairs creaked so we listened to people upstairs walking around half the night(both nights). All in all Extremely disappointed.

this hotel is in close proximity to Laguna Seca raceway which was great! also close to Monterey. The price was great and the property was really nice with flowers all over the exterior of it.

I was looking for a good value hotel close to the Laguna Seca raceway for the Sea Otter Classic - my wife had previously booked an expensive hotel - I simply needed a good value hotel to spend the night. I got that and more. Very satisfied with my stay.

When I arrived and saw baskets of flowers hanging outside in front of every door, I knew someone cared about the hotel and its upkeep. And I was right. My room was very clean, the price was wonderful, and the service kind. I would recommend the place to anyone wanting to stay in the Monterey/Carmel on a budget..

The value is the thing here. You wont find an acceptable place in a better location for less. Yes, the walls are thin, yes its old and dated, yes there is alot of outside noise BUT the value is great. I would stay there again and hope next door they dont like to sleep with the TV on all night. Walking distance to many resturants.

The new building has decent rooms, cleanliness, and beds. The old side has TERRIBLE beds and mildew

Dirty curtains covered in thick dust, toilets smelled like pee, so unhygienic. Sheets had holes and covers had some nasty stains and iron shaped burn marks Towels had holes and stains also. Beds were HORRIBLE. Room smelled. Remodeled bath 'looked' good until noticed reuse of old faucets and toilet seat that didn't fit....neighborhood not the best. Morning continental breakfast was well done.

Checked in, the refrigerator was not working!called the front desk, and they said there's nothing they can do. With the price paid, all amenities should of been working!

Old motel but clean and good location.

The bathroom was always running toilet. The air conditioner had no cold air. The sink clogged up everyone time washing your hands. There was two big dents in the walls in both rooms. There was a tear in the blanket. Asked for more towels got one. There was a blackout when we came back from the room. Never go back there ever again.

We just slept one night and it was what we had booked for a place to sleep. Appropite breakfast We got a room with an extra room behind which was nice for our family We were 5 with three teenage sons.

Over all a nice place. The beds need to be replaced and the mold cleaned from the bathroom window. But other than that good location and nice rooms. It's an older motel but has been maintained well. Hot tub did not work but we did not go to Monterey to sit in a hot tub, took the kids to all the sites.

This wasn't the best or the worst stay in a hotel for me. There is a small kithchen area with a fridge, microwave and small sink, which is very convenient. The problem I had is the bathroom, the toilet wasnt very clean and the shower head could have been replaced. Also the inner shower curtain had mold on it. In the mornings it very noisy with everyone […] coming and going which wasn't a huge problem for me. The mattresses weren't the best , i ended up tossing and turning alot because you could feel the springs. Not a bad place to stay for a night or two. Overall it wasnt terrible so I would stay again because of the location and the price was reasonable. You get what you pay for. Devamı

I would like to comment on the following: the smell of the entire room was somewhat not refreshing, quite aweful. the carpet needs to be replace and the last thing the complimentary breakfast room was too small to occupy all the customers the service was good though.

I would stay away from this hotel if I were desperate for a place to sleep and shower. That is it. The neighborhood is pretty sketchy and the employees weren't friendly. The bed was big, but the sheets were itchy and the floor was pretty dirty. Like I said, if it were just a crash pad, do it. Otherwise, no! The breakfast items all looked old and tasted […] bad. We had a wonderful time. Me and my 3 year old came up for one night in order to go to the Aquarium the next day. We were very close to the beach and shopping and easy access to and from the freeway. Breakfast was nice and open late! We would definately stay here again!

Used this Hotel on a last minute trip with my son for some scuba time. Room was clean, bed not bad to sleep on, it was muggy & AC was loud. The outside noise was a bit ditracting concidering I live by a freeway and this noise was more noticible. the surounding area isnt a place I would let my little ones run around alone but for what we needed it worked. […] The area lighting was good for last minute runs to the car. We made the mistake of parking under one the trees, and ended up with tree sap all over our car. The breakfast was pretty good, more than a muffin and coffee. However, the room was not clean. I found a dirty q-tip on the bathroom floor, and the bathroom counter was filthy. The bed was OK, and the price was 1/2 that of places in Monterrey. Overall, not […] the worst place I have stayed. The hotel was very conveniently located. Near the freeway, close to shops & restaurants. The room was comfortable. I would recommend it to friends

The hotel was nice for its type. The extra room was nice with the two extra beds. The front desk people did not automatically give the key to the exta room, so we had to go back and get it. I recommend spend $10 to $20 more and go else where mattress are worn out you can feel the springs. We requested a smoking room and we got non smoking when requested to make the change the manager said that's not possible. Towels was ripped and worn out.

The check in personel were rude and abrubt and offered no assistance even when asked about restaraunts with walking distance.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. it was very spacious too. The breakfast was very good, unlike many places that promise breakfast and serve only muffins.

NIce location, appearance of site is good, but upon entering, the room smelled and we had to go some scented candles...good water pressure in shower!

Very clean.

We checked in on a Saturday for a Sunday visit to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. This was one of the only hotels with a 2pm check-in, most were later. I cannot complain at all about the room, except that it reeked of cigarettes. We had reserved a non-smoking room online, and either there was a mix-up or there are no non-smoking rooms. This place had competitive prices for a value hotel. The room was clean, and the continental breakfast was fantastic! We weren't expecting much, but there was apple juice and orange juice, coffee, good cereals, good muffins and pastries, and a waffle maker!
