We got a room that had vaulted ceilings on the 1st floor do there was no one above us and we were right next to the garden with a sliding glass door next to it. We had a very good sized room with a king size bed and a couch. It was a secluded room which was perfect since we were on our anniversary trip. The breakfast in the morning was ok I think it […] could have had a little more to choose from. The parking is limited so if the hotel is full you have to find somewhere else to park. Staff was very friendly

As most of the reviews have stated, this is not a luxury hotel, but if you are looking for something comfortable, and family atmosphere this is the place. We walked across the street to visit family staying the hotel there and although very pretty, the staff and the guests were not very friendly and it didn't have the warm feeling that Days Inn had. […] Everyone and I mean everyone, the staff, housekeeping, maintenance, and guests were all extremely friendly. Great hotel with decent amenities. Quiet and comfortable. However, we had to pay $25.00 for our very clean, well behaved dog, which I believe was too much. Breakfast was pretty meager...just bagels and cereal.

Nicely kept up and well furnished rooms. A good choice for visits to San Luis Obispo at a reasonable price. Walking distance to Cal Poly and downtown (I walk a lot so my "walking distance" may be different than yours). Amazingly quiet even though it is located next to Highway 101 and offramps. I'll use this hotel again.

Place was good for the purpose. Cheap, clean room that did the job. I would recommend to anyone. Not glamorous but it worked.

It's super close to to downtown, (a minute or two car ride). When we checked it the first room they gave us did not have a refrigerator. When we went back to the front desk, they immediately gave us an upgraded room with a private balcony, and a fridge to boot! Very nice and quiet, once you close the window, We were in a room at the back that was right […] by the freeway. It was great for the price! And the price didn't break the bank. If you are not expecting the Ritz, you will not be disappointed! Made for a great holiday weekend! Devamı

This hotel wasn't anything special. It was okay. We had to go to another buliding for ice, and the hallways of the building we were in smelled a bit funky, but the room itself had no distinctive smell at all. This is in a safe area. We had a lot of expensive items in the car and felt pretty comfortable leaving things loaded up overnight.

The lady at the desk was so helpful and nice. I couldnt say Enough nice things about her. She was there when we checked in and when we checked out. The best customer service in a very long time.

We were able to walk from the hotel to downtown for dinner and sightseeing. The closet was huge! Only downsides- old box style t.v. with grainy channels and a sticky kitchenette floor.

Quite nice with very friendly and helpful desk staff. Other Guest noise was high at inconvenient times,late at night and early in morning which was not very respe Cthulhu to those trying to sleep.

Stayed in the annex. Nice place. Really good bed. Very comfortable. The heater worked well but was a little noisy. Very good parking. The TV was sub-standard, not a good picture and not good channels. But mostly just used the place as a bedroom. Didn't watch much TV. The price was good. They didn't raise the rate for weekend nights. I'll stay there […] again. Devamı

Our room was quite large w/ a a kitchenette. Quite, and slept well, but matresses were a bit springy. Price was right!

The front desk was helpful and responsive. The room was large with a refrigerator and microwave and sink (no dishes or utensils though) and it was clean. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows were small. This hotel is very close to Cal Poly, and was a great place to stay while visiting our son.

This hotel is right off the highway and close to all the downtown spots without being right in the middle of all the choas (like SLO has chaos).

We loved it. We stayed here for the weekend, in town for a family event. The beds were very comfortable, and the breakfast had a large choice of options to choose from. We were also in walking distance to good restaurants.

The location was great. It was not far from the winery where we attended a wedding. The room was fine but we were given a room in the far corner 3rd floor of the hotel. I booked it 2 weeks in advance and would have liked a better room location. I asked for a different room and was told that none were available. The light next to our door was out which […] made the corner even darker. We called 3x to have the bulb replaced. Another guest in the hotel had a dog and we returned from breakfast to find dog poop near our front door!! We had to call several times to have it cleaned up. The continental breakfast was fine. The room was a nice size. The pillows were small. One of the chairs in the room was broken and we reported that to the front desk. It was not removed or repaired. The kitchenette was nice and useful. My husband & I had to go to an event in Paso Robles, but all the affordable hotels in PR were booked since it's peak winery/vineyard touring season, so we opted to stay in San Luis Obispo instead. Days Inn is literally the first hotel right off the 101 freeway exit on Monterey Blvd, so it's extremely convenient. When we went out, we asked the front […] desk to have the housecleaning staff pay extra attention to the shower because it needed some detailed cleaning, and when we returned they had done a good job, which was greatly appreciated. Staff was very friendly. Hotel provides shampoo but not conditioner, and the towels are not very thick or fluffy, but for the price, the room was comfortable and a very good value overall. My son and I stayed at the Days Inn so that we could tour the Cal Poly campus. It is very convenient to the campus. The quality of the hotel was basically what I expected. Towels were a little small, a/c was a little noisy, but motel was generally clean and safe. Minimal parking, so if you arrive after dark, you will be parking out in the street.

Room was clean but super plain. Bed was quite comfortable. Super convenient to Cal Poly. All in all it was totally worth the price.

We have stayed here at Days Inn in San Luis Obispo and found it to be like home. There is a nice restaurant across the street called Apple Inn. Very good food and cute place. We enjoy staying at this hotel.

there are no smoking rooms but had the neighbor next door smoke out in front of her room which went in our window. room is small but worked for a couple of days if you don't spend too much time in it. The location is close to cal Poly which is where our son stays so that was convenient. also not too far of a walk to downtown 10 mins. the exercise room […] had three machines, no towels , and no clock but served its purpose for getting those vacation calories off. Breakfast was ok, instant oatmeal, fruit, coffee, juice and hot chocolate. they don't have trays to bring it back into your room so you had to juggle or make several trips. overall, it worked but I think I would pay a bit more and have more room in our hotel room. Our stay at this Days Inn Motel was great! We had a nice large room with in room coffee and the dest staff was wonderful and very helpful in every way. The morning breakfast was good and everything was very fresh. We ended up staying at this location two nights instead of one! I would recommend this motel to anyone going to this area.

Large room with sofa, tables, micro & refrigerator. Great location. Helpful staff. Sparse breakfast, but meets criterion of continental breakfast as advertised. Reasonable price.

I love San Luis Obispo. Talk about the ideal college town. It makes you want to be under 25, going to college and carefree. Unfortunately I don't fit into any of those categories, although I so enjoyed my visit there. Days Inn is fine. Perfectly located. The rooms are clean but could use a bedding update. Clean room. Very helpful and friendly staff. Cheap cab ride into downtown. Trolley stop right across the street if you don't want to take a cab. Will stay again.
