Langham Huntington, Pasadena, Los Angeles - Pasadena

I think chose poorly, took a business club room with access to concierge lounge. All felt as though needed to be brought up to date, a little outmoded. Also too far to walk to Pasadena, car needed everywhere. Grounds are stunning , nice pool area, fabulous sitting on bar balcony with evening sunshine

Great hotel, even on Mother's Day with so many people there. Food and beverage was a bit off in the Terrace. There were tons of tables available at dinner and at brunch, but they were waiting people and turning people away. Food was avg.

Lovely place. A truly remarkable escape, even for a night away from Santa Monica like we did. I was not impressed with the billing department though. I booked on Hotels.com and pre-paid for the room. The hotel charged me their full rate, so I was double-charged. I didn't realize the mistake until weeks later when I double-checked my credit card bill. […] I left a detailed message for the accounting dept. at the Langham Huntington. They didn't return my call, so a week later I called them to check the billing situation. The lady saw that it was marked "third-party" charge right away. It was that obvious to here when she saw the bill, so it didn't make sense why they would double charge. Anyway, she did fix it in the end without any hassle. Overall, it's a nice place for big events, but I wouldn't pick it as my first spot for an "intimate" getaway. Devamı

Beautiful facility. Everything was great except it's time for pillow-top mattresses. Beds not very comfortable for what should be a 5 star hotel.

Love this hotel. I stay here everytime I am in the Los Angeles area. If you are a guest at the hotel you get to use the showers, hot tubs, and sauna at the Huntington Spa!

The beds were very comfy with good quality sheets. Afternoon tea was a treat, and the garden was lovely. Overall, it was a Downton Abbey weekend!

The hotel is well maintained. The rooms are large and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs. The location was ideal for a relaxing time in a busy city. So close to downtown LA and Pasadena yet it felt like one was in the countryside. Beautiful gardens and grounds. Loooved this hotel! It has so much character and history. Crown molding galore! Cozy hallways, the entrance/foyer is incredibly beautiful!! The foyer had a huge table covered in tall clear vases filled with beautiful stalks of white orchids! To top it off the chandeliar was breathtaking!! We couldn't believe how friendly the staff was (I was thinking […] they'd be a bit snooty! But they weren't in the least!) We didn't get to take advantage of all the amenities, but they looked inviting. The grounds were so pretty and well looked after, and very big! We spent most of our time in Old Town Pasadena and admiring the beautiful surrounding neighborhoods! This trip was 2 nights, it was for our 17th Anniversary. For a special treat and getaway, we highly recommend this hotel!! ENJOY!! Devamı

This is an extraordinary, resort-like hotel in lovely gardens. The surrounding neighborhood is quiet, very wealthy, and perhaps a bit dull--but it is actually possible to walk to a shopping street for breakfast. For a quiet, retreat atmosphere inside LA County, this is perfect.

This is a California legend. It is gracious in every way. Beautiful setting and excellent service. It's a great getaway spot , especially if you sign on for the 1865 Club floor...fabulous.

This hotel is amazing for the price we paid. For less than $300, we got a room that could easily go for $500 a night in most hotels. The hotel grounds are immaculate. My wife and I felt like we were staying in a European palace for the night!

We were only here one night, but were charmed by the beautiful gardens, decor, and history of this hotel. The bed was comfortable, the staff very friendly and helpful, and all was spotlessly clean. I loved how quiet it was, and that beautiful classical music was playing in our room when we went in. Also, my husband remarked, "Hm, no smell of perfume […] in the air: a very good sign that there is nothing to hide!" Since we are not usually luxury travelers, we did not know the protocol of using the very well-stocked liquor cabinet in the room, and were afraid to touch it!! A bit of written directions as to cost, etc, would have been helpful. The floor lamp didn't work, but once again we were there such a short time we didn't want to bother anyone about it. Also, I would have loved a brochure which explained the many historic paintings decorating the ground floor walls. Devamı

Beautiful old time hotel with luxries aplenty. Restaurants have delicious food - perfect to sit outside by the garden and have brunch. Pool and hot tub are open early and stay open late. Wonderful service.

Seen improvement in your hotel staff service attitude since took over time ( that was the worse , right after took over). Still maintain an outsatnding hotl standard! Need to upkeep more like the men's changing room's showers. Great team of staff ( excep a room booking clerk who needs retraining or a jobfor a motel. Stayed for the wedding and it was a bad idea. We could hear the water running at night. The bellman took forever to bring the luggage and almost late for the event.

Great place to stay. Reminds me of classic Hollywood. Dining out on the patio at lunch is saw a photographer do a photo shoot at the pool of a gorgeous model. At the other tables outdoors were well dressed young, energetic, successful businessmen, wanna be actors/actresses to be seen and to see others. It is a grand old hotel. The Royce is completely redone and is under a new chef. However, my room needed referfurbishing. The matress was old and the furnature and drapes were worn.

Service was no better then a comfort inn or Hampton. Room phone didn't work, fire alarm went off in hotel no one came down the hall or could phone my room. They asked what newspaper I would like in the morning and I had to call several times from mt cell phone and it finally showed up just before check out. ( 12:00 pm)

This is the second time we've stayed there for our anniversary. However, our first stay a few years back was definitely a much more memorable stay than this latest one. Our first stay we had a much nicer room, larger, better view, and with a private patio. We were so impressed we decided to go back again, hoping we can get the same, or similar room […] again. I wish I could have stayed forever. The Langham was an incredible hotel; from start to finish I felt that the staff was looking to make my stay superb. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and I felt truly cared for. Room was large and beautiful. Beds were supremely comfortable - I wish I could have taken mine home! Large bathroom, clean, beautiful […] linens (I am a sucker for oversized towels and these fit the bill). We had a lanai room with views of the terrace and pool area, and a convenient back exit so we could cut straight across to the restaurant. The Terrace restaurant was fantastic; we had both breakfast and dinner there during our stay and thoroughly enjoyed it. Also loved the Tap Room bar - special 5 stars to the bartender with the fantastic scotch knowledge who introduced me to a new Macallan vintage. Make sure to explore the hotel and the grounds. The Japanese garden would be beautiful in full bloom (we went in November so missed out). The horseshoe garden behind the main hotel offers stunning views of the city. Truly, the Langham epitomizes all that a luxury hotel should be. I will definitely be back, if given the opportunity! Devamı

Wonderful Staff, shuttle service was exceptional, room service was wonderful. I can't compliment the staff and the overall service. I give this hotel a rating of 10 . Thank you to everyone from Canada !
