Hotel Delle Nazioni - Milan

Room was clean and pretty spacious. Just down the street from stazione centrale. Very easy to find. Hotel bar is a great amenity, however it is a bit expensive.

Avoid at all cost!

We spent sometime to find this hotel when we arrived. But, once you find the way there, it's a very easy to access. very nice the main station which is 5-10 mins walks distance. And surrounding by some of the good and cheap Italian restaurant. We are allowed to store our luggages in the hotel before we checked in, as we are arrived in the early morning. […] the conditions of the hotel is acceptable, but the only thing we are annoyed with was we would not turn off the heater in the room. it was about 25 degree during our stay, the windows are small and we wetted ourselves during night. rather than that, everything is okay. Very conveniently located near the train station, but in a lovely neighborhood. We could walk to the metro or tram to get anywhere in the city. The people in the hotel were pleasant and aimed to please

Two window had opened when we arrived at the hotel , and we could not close them because they were broken! It was so cold and loud. Moreover front clerk was not kind to the other customers who couldn't understand both Italian and English language! Incredible! We will never stay that hotel again.

This hotel is very expensive for your quality. The lobby is new, but the room that we stayed was very very old. I recommend only just for the hotel localization.

terrible! yes it's cheap but worth paying more if this is what you get. There are plenty other hotels in this neighborhood only a little more expensive.

good deal for what you pay. close to the main train station, 20-30 min walk to the old city center, rooms are a little old looking but if you; are in budget, need a bed to stay and spend the day in the city, staff is OK neighbor is OK then highly recommended for what you pay.

This was to be a non-smoking room, like most now in Italy. Like all old hotel rooms, this one reeked of ancient smoke, and anti-contaminants to cover it up, unsuccessfully. Hello hotels, the only way to be rid of thid nuisance is to recarpet and repaint. And Internet? Why do I have to go to the corner McDonalds to get free Internet? Hotel was very clean and staff attentive but there are mosquitos in the rooms in winter - not nice.

I stayed at this hotel two nights on two different restrvations. First night was fine. Everything was in working order. The room was comfortable, I was able to access wifi (after paying a large fee). Everything was smooth. When deciding on where to stay the following night I decided to stay at the same place as I had an acceptable experience the night […] before. The second night, I was put in a room that wouldn't connect to wifi (even though I had paid the large fee again). I spent half the night in the lobby taking care of business....not the most comfortable places. Then when I was checking out the next morning, they accused me of using the mini bar from the night before....something which I did not even consider. They were very accusative and unkind. I would say this hotel is hit or miss. When people are dishonest (whether due to poor employees or otherwise) trust is lost. Everything regarding this hotel was horrible. From the moment we walked in it was if we were bothering reception by trying to check in. Maybe he stayed in one of their rooms the night before and didn't get any sleep? The room was tiny to say the least, bed was most uncomfortable, bathroom small, dirty and old. The rooms were antiquated. Ffloor was dirty, […] found gross toe nail clippings. No way to adjust the heat. Wifi for a price in the lobby & can only use their 1 computer. The hotel was conveniently located - circa 300m by foot from Centrale The rooms however were old, lamps were not working, and the TV switched on by itself after midnight. Service wasn´t too bad overall not considering that the night customer service representative seemed sleepy and grouchy. Internet is a rip-off; 3€ for 10 mins.

Hotel is within walking distance of train station with access to airport and underground (approximately 4 blocks). Single room was small and had some electrical problems, which the staff was quick to fix. Otherwise, it suited my needs for an overnight stay before heading to Venice.

Great location near Central Station with other metro stops nearby. Lots of shopping,bars,cafe and restaurant all within walking distance. Great friendly multilingual staff that aim to please. Hotel may look a bit tired but it wouldn't stop me returning. A few friends tried to get in after me but it was fully booked!!!

This hotel is friendly and clean. We needed a place to stay near to Milano Centrale train station (for Monza grand prix and Malpensa Airport) and this is only a couple of streets away so it was perfect. I liked the atmosphere and the staff were very polite and proffessional. I would 100% stay again next time I am in Italy.

I've done a lot of budget stays in Europe and typically look for a couple things - a clean room with enough space for me to move around and convenience to public transport and eating. Whilc this hotel is off the beaten track for sight seeing, it was very convenient to the Stazione Centrale, within a few minutes of walking, and right around the corner […] from a number of cafes and McDonalds (if you're just really dying for a coke! ;o) The room was clean, nothing fancy, but everything was in working order and the ac worked. The staff that I interacted with were all friendly and nice. I couldn't figure out the ac and they sent someone right up to fix it. If you are interested in sight seeing, the metro is very near and easy to navigate. and if you like walking, there are large, populated streets nearby that run down to the Duomo area and are good for walking, even late at night. All in all, I was pleasantly surprised as I do read reviews and wasn't sure what to expect. I could never get the wifi to work with my phone, but picked up enough free signals nearby as well as using the free wifi at the autogrills, so it all worked out fine. Devamı

The location was, as advertised, great. But the room we got was pretty bad. Hard beds, no ceiling light, no AC, TV was unreliable, mosquitos, and lots of street noise. Didn't sleep much. Try some place else.

The reception staff are just simply appaling especially the night staff. Not helpful at all!

Hotel is conveniently located in the Centre.Air Conditioning is very mild.Hot in the room in May.They don't provide Iron,Hot Water or Microwave.Drainage is very poor.

Very convenient location near the station, I had the quickest check in ever, the staff were all very polite and able to speak English. The room was clean and of a decent size. I was able to store my luggage on the last day so was free to walk around town. Also very close to the post office and a number of very cute restaurants and bars. Needing an affordable layover crash pad is often hit and miss, but this one was a hit...stayed in an as expected small single room though the bathroom was large...good efficient service from a multi-lingual staff was pleasant. Highly recommended for short and even longer stays...

This is the worst disgusting hotel I have ever stayed at. This would not even be a 1 star in China. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT BOOK AT THIS HOTEL. IF YOU DO YOU WILL BE SORRY. Smelly, dirty, bugs, horrible service (actually no service). Might be just as good to sleep in the train station.

The rooms are basic but clean, the staff friendly, the courtyard pretty and the location great.

For the price, the hotel was ok. Too bad you had to pay an extra fee for using internet, and of course no internet at the rooms. The rooms where sad, not very comfortable beds, no decorations or anything... The room was clean though. We werent able to actually lock the door, only close it so it locked itself. If we turned the key ourselves the door […] wouldnt be able to open without a special key they had at the hotel...maybe inform about this when we arrive?? The biggest mistake with the hotel, was definately the people working in the reseption. if you dont know for SURE when the train to the airport leaves, DONT just say something... They told us the wrong times. We had to run from the train to the checkin, and baaarely made it! The price of the accommodation was very reasonable for the service provided. The location of the hotel is really good, just a 5 minute walk from the central station. The room was clean and tidy, the heating could be regulated if you prefer to stay in a cooler/warmer room. Staff at the reception was very helpful and kind! Hotel was reduced likely because it was out-of-season. Was very satisfied with the room and it was conveniently located near the train station.

Terrible, terrible service. One of the front desk attendants was extremely rude and unwilling to assist anyone beyond charging for the room (with an annoyed look on his face and dismissive demeanor); rooms were uncomfortable and not very clean. The relative low proce (by MIlan standards) and location are the ONLY things going for this place.

The toilet dripped and the walls were so thin I could hear every car that passed and voices all night long. Additionally the blinds did not close all the way so the light from the streets outside also kept me awake. While this hotel is close to the central station which is convenient, if you plan to get any sleep while in Milan, DON'T STAY HERE!!

The staff was very rude and not helpful at all. Wi-Fi did not work although they were asking for 19 euros per day. Others were having the same issue and getting no help. Rooms are small with old carpet. Also there are no power outlets by the desk that makes it hard to charge laptop or other electronic devices.

The hotel charges excessive rates to use the internet.

The location of the hotel was good for a number of things. Close walk from the Centrel station, so easy if just arriving, also for metro links from the station. We walked into the main shopping district in about 20 minutes and it was a nice walk. Not much going on in the area to see and do though. Hotel was simple, slightly dated, but pleasant. Staff at reception unhelpful, not very friendly & very arrogant. There is nothing 3star about this hotel or its bedrooms. Very poor standard. Stayed 4nights ,bed sheets never changed. Filty ensuite. Tiolet paper & tissues not replenished when they ran out. Cleaning staff more interested in smoking breaks outside the fire exits. Toxic smell coming from […] leaking pipe in tiolet in ensuite causing a horrendous smell to spread around the bedroom. The smell never left the room causing total discomfort for our stay. Beds were only fit to be occupied by children as they were not large enough for adults. Internet facility is charged for! Its free in nearly all hotels ,totally overpriced. Got charged 3euro min price for checking an email which took only 30sec. Will not be recommending this hotel..plenty other hotels in milan to choose from. Devamı

Very close to the central train station, excellent choice considering the price. Convient, quiet in the evening and clean. Some staff a bit rude, but some are very friendly. Overall, a reccomendation for the single traveller.

there is no iron...they will iron each piece of garment for 5 euro each....

I chose this hotel as it was within my budget price range and available the night before I wanted to stay. I had a decent sized room and the bed was clean, although there were some stains on the side of the bed itself that were a little off-putting. However, I only used the hotel as somewhere to sleep as I was out all day and into the evening exploring […] Milan. The hotel is only a five to ten minute walk from the Stazione Centrale (and the metro) which was very handy as I was travelling back to Paris very early in the morning. Beware though! Internet access is not free and there is an added charge on all the food items on the menu (there is a price for the food but then an extra amount is added on as a "service charge"). Therefore I avoided this and just got some food in Milan itself. I wasn't bad for the price, especially at the last minute, although next time I would try and look for something else. Devamı

The hotel location was great. It was about two blocks away from the main train station and the metro. Staff spoke English which was great. Hotel room was not the cleanest and the air conditioner could not be used because it was so dusty. The view of your room is just an alley and other rooms. Better than a hostel and just as cheap.

The hotel was one of the most MOR hotels I have ever stayed in... apart from one guy on the desk being pretty short and unfriendly. Currently being refurbished, which to be honest is more than needed.
