We stay here often. Love the beautiful grounds, pools and relaxed atmosphere. The sports bar is fun,great drinks and service.

The desk clerk was "snooty" to me. I would describe her as "looking down her nose at me". A little disconcerting for a clerk!! The carpet leading into the bath area was surprisingly dirty! Driving past the service/laundry area (which was messy) to my room, was not what I wanted to see either.

After we got home to San Diego,we discovered we left a battery charger behind in our room. We called the desk and they said that they would mail it to us. They did just that! That is what I call great service!!!!!

Older resort kept in great condition, beautiful grounds, excellent restaurants, very helpful concierge. Easy drive to Taliesin West and Old Town Scottsdale. Only complaint for me was drafty air fan in hallway of room which hummed continuously...not sure if this could be changed. Overall would recommend!

we were very dissapointed, we have stayed there 6 times bafore,but this time we felt that the restaraunt servise was especially poor ,servers not attentive, rude,&we chose to eat elsewhere.we also felt that because we booked the room at a discount rate we did not get the service we got their in the past. we will n ot book scottsdale plaza resort ag […] ain! The hotel seemed clean but dated, meaning it could use some renovation of the rooms. Generally the staff was pleasant, and the hotel location is good if your plans call for a stay in the north Scottsdale area.

My better half and I stayed at this resort for one night. We were attending a marriage retreat which was being hosted down the road at the Double Tree Resort. This Scottsdale Plaza was a little less expensive than the Double Tree, but the quality & customer service was just as good. I would recommend this resort to anyone!

I read the reviews and thought this hotel comes out as very good! I was wrong. It is distiinctly average for the price. The front desk staff are not very friendly. My check in front desk girl even forgot to book my wake up call and had I not double checked the night before I would still be sleeping there now. The pool is great though noone is staffing […] it and the bar is closed so no drinks or food. The most annoying aspect of this hotel/motel is that they charges heavily for the internet when most other hotels offer this for free. The fridge was one of those minibars and they charge a service charge, t plus delivery and then tip on the room service!! The rooms are outdated and they clearly want to attract business guests and are not interested in couples or individuals staying there. Devamı

I read a few negative comments about the hotel but my experience was great. The room was larger than I expected. The bed was super. The facilities are immaculate. The food at the pool is good and priced reasonablely. The only negative is a daily charge for wifi. If you are looking for a resort experience I would commend this hotel.

Had a wonderful stay and the location was perfect for our visit. The only down side was no free internet service, luckily we were out most of the time.

We were very impressed with the servers in JD's Lounge as well as the food and beveraged manager. They not only met our needs but were very friendly and engaging.

This hotel shows its age. The rooms are older without any recent remodeling. The beds are not particularly comfortable and neither are the pillows. Blankets are too thin. Room amenities are OK with the usual mini bar and free coffee. The staff was friendly however and the sports bar in the lobby is highly recommended. The hotel is OK as a place to sleep […] but if you are looking for a more luxurious place, it is not the spot. I would put it on the same par as a Scottsdale motel. In their defense, the room I had was a less expensive one. Devamı

The resort was wonderfully located to shopping , friends, and restaurants. We are joggers and found a great trail across the street that started at the park and continued only ( we did only 4 miles). Mummy mountain has another trail nearby that we did not get a chance to use, having to visit our regular trails first. We will be back for more. BTW, Starbuck's […] across the street too. A great value and very clean. There are too many restaurants in Scottsdale to visit so we did not use the dining at the resort, but certainly will next time. Devamı

We have stayed at the Resort several times and each time is a treat. This time, we were treated by holiday decorations throughout the resort. A wonderful experience and a happy place to relax. The pool was excellent and the weather outstanding..good fun! Cheers.

This is a wonderful resort! We checked in late, received a room upgrade & had first class service! They even extended our check out time to 2:00 pm. Concierge service was outstanding!

The facilities and grounds are beautiful but the room is TERRIBLE! I felt dirty after taking a shower in a discolored white tub that was now yellow... The chairs had stains from who knows what...nor do i want to know. The worst part... the AC that sounded like a jumbo jet at my door. It kept me up ALL night. I could also hear every word my neighbor […] said clear as day while he spoke at a normal volume. Worth a trip if you arent staying overnight... Devamı

Stayed one night. Didn't need or use the resort amenities but had to pay the resort fee anyway. Room air conditioner was very noisy. Cycled on and off every 30 - 45 seconds all night long. Everything else was excellent.

The staff at this resort made the experience worthwhile! They treated us with utmost respect and greeted us with smiles (even at 1am while checking in). Highly recommend anyone this resort, and definitely eat at Remington's!

Rooms need to be remodeled a little. Grounds and facility are great.

My wife and teenage daughter enjoyed our stay. Very quiet except for especially vocal songbirds around the grounds, which we found nice but might disturb some people. We never heard any of our human neighbors. Made extensive use of the pool and spa, which were clean and in attractive surroundings. Close by to Salt River Fields and a short 10-15 minute […] drive from old-town Scottsdale. The refrigerator was filled with for-purchase mini-bar items, which we had to remove and put aside to make room for our own perishables, but we just put the for-purchase items back afterward and had no grief from the hotel or from housekeeping about that. The resort is amazing and is one of our favorite spots in the Phoenix area. The grounds are beautiful. The rooms are a little dated in appearance, however very clean and very well maintained. Great steak house on site and great little villa style rooms are available as well. Great value and great location.

Traveling as a single female, checking in after dark, I didn't feel safe. The hotel is motel style with all entrances being from the outside. I had difficulty finding my building. I couldn't see the building numbers from my car. I had to get out and walk around to find my room. My room was upstairs, but the even numbers were on the back of the building […] and the odd numbers were on the front of the building. The signs didn't indicate this and I didn't figure it out until I had hiked to the back of the building and up a flight of stairs in the not so well lit area. I then had to go back downstairs walk to the front of the building in the dark and then go back upstairs. At 9:00 at night this was the last thing I wanted to do. Once I was in the room, the room was large, but the decor was out of date and the beds are hard. Devamı

It's listed as a resort, but it doesn't have that feel. The pool is decent, but the rest is very very average.

Easy & speady check in...however the hotel over all is not very nice and you can hear everything and everyone walking outside your door and even when shower going on and off from other surrounding rooms. Great for a quick one-two night stay for the price and the location.

Great resort hotel. The staff is fantastic and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Remington's, the on-site, restaurant/bar has great live jazz music and homemade potato chips. Will definitely go back again.

Rooms are just average but the resort is great. Swimming pool is way nice with a big hot tub and is open all night. Drinks at the hotel are pricey so bring your alcohol. I had a great time there and for the money you can't beat it. Internet is $13 for 24 hours so be prepared for that.

The facilities were outstanding and exceeded my expectations.

This was a work related trip with two women and one man in the group. The hotel bent over backwards to make our stay relaxing and pleasant. We all arrived at different times but our rooms were ready and waiting for us. Surroundings were well maintained and groomed. Check out was a breeze.

Seemed well rounded for conferences. The staff helpful and delightful, the grounds were beautiful, buildings well kept, nice gift shop, pools, tennis courts, workout room, salon, business area, lounge and restuarants. The Resorts Remington Restuarant Loung had wonderful ambiance, and very tasty chicken flatbread! Just across the street, a small shopping […] center, and a Japanese Restuarant down the street for variety of food. Shuttle was very reasonable. I would have rated it at top notch, but the last day before I checked out the next morning the maids did not leave a clean wash cloth or the usual hygene cleaners. All other days of my stay, everything was left perfect for the next day when I returned from day long meetings. I guess knowing I was to check out the next morning they thought I didn't need to wash my face, etc., that evening. Traveling air I don't bring bottles of shampoo, lotion, etc. It gave the impression they were cutting corners and it was awkward washing my face with a big towel. Devamı

Leider war diese Hotel mit seinem doch realtiv hohen Preis, das schlechteste Hotel unserer Rundreise. In unserem Zimmer war eine Verbindungstür zum Nachbarzimmer. Jedes noch so leise Wort konnte man hören. Auch die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist keinesfalls höher als höchstens ein 2** Sterne Haus. Die Matratzen schon etwas durchgelegen, der Boden sehr schmuddlig. […] Die Preise für das Frühstück sind die Abzocke pur. Selbst für das WLAN langen die ordentlich hin. Das gab es in alll unseren Hotels vorher umsonst. Die Fotos leider alles nur Schein! Devamı
