Siesta Inn and Suites - Bradenton

Hotel restaurant has been closed for a year, paid for king but slept in queen due to lack of availability for internet access use. Pool has not been used in years, sad to see this hotel forgotten about

It was ok for the price!

Lots of commotion outside the door at 3 - 4 AM. Swearing. Some of the clientel may be "coarse." I felt less than totally safe.

I would never recommend this hotel. There were Palmetto bugs all over the room dead ones and alive(Flying Cock roaches). I called the front desk to have someone clean it and the woman at the front desk said she was the only one on and palmetto bugs are all over Florida and just shush them away. Simply put. It's a motel that was cheap.

There was a tattoo conference at the hotel when we were there. Drugs were being freely sold and the "tiki" bar was overrun with drunken tattoo zealots-no place for children or any sane adult!!

I am profoundly hard of hearing and I politely asked he front desk for closed captioning on the TV in the room. At the second request, the front desk clerk called someone who said I could set the CC from the TV itself. I had already tried that. All TVs made after 1996 have closed captioning. This one did not. This hotel is in violation of the American […] Disabilities Act. I also asked three times to have a light bulb replaced and the slow drain repaired. None of these were fixed. My father, sister, and I rented a room at this hotel for two nights and it was in tolerable condition. You can't compare it to the Hilton because that just wouldn't be fair and that's not at all what we expected or paid for! We booked the Siesta Inn & Suites because it's within walking distance of McKechnie Field, spring home of the Pittsburgh Pirates. […] So, if you can handle an occasional ant on the bathroom counter and not-so-blue pool water, then this place is a decent value. I recommend it only if you're able to overlook the imperfections (the linens were perfectly clean, by the way) and accept it for what it is: A cheap place to sleep at night in between ball games :) Devamı

I checked in around 8pm. There were 2 police cars by the lobby area when i got there. The guy in front of me to check in was hitting on me, and then he and his 3 or 4 guy friends ended up being 2 rooms down from my room when i got there. I was alone and I didnt feel safe.. i almost left to stay somewhere else. also while i was checking in, a sweaty […] guy came in off the streets and was asking to use the phone. The front desk man seemed really concerned and came out behind the counter and tried to get him to leave. On my walk to my room i saw lots of people hanging outside their rooms smoking. There was hair in the shower in the room i was staying in. The room was cleaner than i expected on my walk to the room, but the king size bed was sunken in in the middle. If your planning a quickly stay; overnight or two it is okay. The location is great for the beach 7mins away, but if it comfortable beds and pretty rooms; it's not. They need to refurbish their rooms, get more comfy beds and undull thier rooms. My rating would of been better than a 3.

om was moldy smelling,carpet old and dirty, giving hard time for needing towels, toilet wouldnt flush, pool was nasty feeling and falling apart, occupants very loud, worried about personal belongings whole time, did not sleep well at all.

Horrible location, Horrible people, Horrible customer service.. I thought we were going to get robbed. There were people in the lobby talking about getting high and cussing up a storm! When we drove around the building to look for our room most of the people renting out rooms were giving us dirty looks like we were trying to spy on them.. and we were […] not even given the room I booked online.. it was a smaller bed and when we told the front desk they made us go back to the room to turn off the a/c and lights and never apologized! The hotel had no keys to any room. The machine was broken and housekeepers had to let us in everytime. Our first room was dirty and we waited 30 mintues to check in as the manager counted her morning drawer and had to get to bank before it closed. Have you never heard of key drop? That left only one person to check people in.

A very poor experience. Check in was 2pm and we arrived around 3:15pm. We were given a key to our room and when we got there, the door was propped open and the room was not made up. When we went back and complained they replied "what are you going to do?" We told them to make the room up and we would go to the bar for a drink at that point seeing that […] we did not have too many choices. We finally got into our room at 4pm! The next morning, we went to the front desk to get a plastic or regular spoon to eat our yogurt we brought with us but were told they did not have any available seeing that the dining area was locked (10am). We booked this room online because of the reviews that it received, these reviews must have been a decade old, that would probably explain the pamper under the bed and the weed in the desk; the toilet did not flush the first night, the desk clerk told me it would in the morning which it did, I guess the room had reached it's flush quota for that day. […] I booked a non-smoking room, maybe they should have told the guest prior to me that it was a non smoking room because everything including the telephone had burn marks, well Mom said if you don't have anything nice to say well don't say it, I wish someone would have warned me about this before I booked. good luck and don't forget to bring some ear muffs not because of the air condition but for the noise outside the room. The hotel was very out date! The room had furniture that was very damage, The pillows were very stained. The Ice Machine worked on and off! very old. the pool was GREEN! YUCK!!!!!! We were very disappointed.

You get what you pay for sometimes and this was one of them. We had no choice but to stay here because all the other hotels/motels were booked in the Sarasota area we were visiting.

The night person had to be the worst person in the service industry...ever We paid for an extra night just so we would have a place to lay out heads when we came in off the road at 3 am. When we arrived, with two kids and one on the way, the night person said that there were no rooms available. He was so anxious to get rid of us that he didn't listen […] to us explain our situation. When he finally came to finally speak to us face to face he was rude and unapologetic as he checked us in to our room. I checked in at 4:30 and my room was not even ready. The ladies at the front desk were yelling when I checked in. Very loud and unprofessional. When I arrived to my room, housekeeping was still in there finishing up my room. She was also yelling at someone across the pool area for pillow cases. My room had a king size bed and only had 3 FLAT pillows […] laid across it. When I went to go to bed, I pulled back the comforter and one of the pillows had stains on it. Needless to day, that pillow was on the bottom! I took a shower the next morning and the shower drain was draining extremely slow to where it was almost up to my ankles when I was finished. I noticed that the walls were dirty and needs to be repainted. Very disappointed and would not recommend staying there again. Devamı

We needed a stop to stay at on our way back north, and it was a challenge to find a reasonably priced hotel in Sarasota, so we picked this hotel in Bradenton. The location was pretty convenient, but the neighborhood was not as savory. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a reasonable size and clean. The only issue we had was the wi-fi […] is not available in the room itself, only by the pool and front office. The pool seemed ok, but the patio furniture was pretty beat up. I get the impression that this establishment is under new management and the owners are working hard to improve their image, and I'd say that they are doing a good job so far. Devamı

Me and some buddies stayed in this hotel this passed weekend and it was very very dirty. I would never of stayed here with my family. We asked to switch rooms and it never happened, so we asked for clean sheets and the new ones had hair all over them. Many dead bugs found in the room. Paid $55 for the room for two nights. There was a quarter inch gap under the door. The air conditioner was an old model but it did work. The television service didn't have ESPN. We planned to stay two nights, but only ended up staying one. We couldn't check out. Both days at the Hotel there was no hot water evening or morning.Had to take 'COLD' showers,not very pleasant.When I complained the desk person mentioned there was a plumbing problem,a broken pipe and the hot water had to come from a different side of the hotel.That didn't satisfy me.If I hadn't already paid for both days,we would have checked OUT!!! […] The coffee maker in the room was also broken,and could not be replaced because the maintenance staff went home. Noisey people running around late at night.

The room was good for the price. The only problem was the people in the next room, slamming door and talking until 430am. We tried to call the front desk but couldn't get the phone to dial out.

I tried to saved some money and I wasn't expecting anything fancy, but this hotel was VERY dirty: the floors, the bathrooms had parts that had never been cleaned, the toillet was licking, the walls and doors were sticky and black of dirt. I will never recommend this hotel.

I have never before written a review one way or the other....however... this hotel deserves a report.... upon arriving I was greeted by the worst mannered manager iI have ever encountered. Rude and nasty does not even begin to describe his attitude. Before I even checked in I phoned Hotels.com to see if they would find me another hotel. Altough I could […] not get a refund, the people at Hotels.com were proffessional, courteous and understanding to my cause. The rooms were not at all clean...the windows must have been cleaned by a very short person..only 2/3 of the windows were cleaned. the tops of every single room that i observed were exactly the same. FILTHY! I ordered a fridge and microwave to my room, went down and paid for it....and after 4 1/2 hours and 5 phone calls it arrived. The pool area is so dirty that you would not sit there. I placed towels on the lounge chairs and when I lifted them they were absolutely filthy on the reverse side. And now we come to the best part of all....read the back of your room door carefully when you arrive there ia sign that states....WARNING..OUR MAIDS STEAL..I actually took a photo of the sign to show everyone...could you imagine have help that steals and they still work for you? Front desk attendents were disrespectful to my fiancee'. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

Inexpensive motel, internet was weak in my room, Tiki Bar on property was good for a few cheap beers since I could not get any internet work done, it kept cutting out. You get what you pay for. but it was clean and quite.

Ok Hotel to stay at for the price. No frills. Only downfall I had was an upcharge for a fridge and microwave.

my girlfriend and i were visiting the area for a wedding and we stayed here to save some money. The staff was very courteous and helpful with everything even recommended some great restaurants in the area. The room was clean no bugs tub was clean and felt comfortable on the sheets. was actually quite a comfy bed. 2 evening we went and visitd banana […] bobs tiki hut located right there. we had soem drinks with the owners and some other regulars that frequent "the hut" we were offered some free food from a pig roast and had a great time. This is a great stay at a great price but i would only recommend it to families if you will not be there that often. We did not visit the pool so i cannot comment on it but the people there seemed to enjoy it. I would return to this hotel if i happened to be in the area again. Devamı

was quite difficult to find with the IPHONE- and google-maps, as the hotel is not where the maps lead you. The TIKI-Hut bar is cool with very nice staff and good music - depending on where you have the room, the music might keep you up until the bar closes. it was very nice for the money, i seen riverview bed bugs and bugs i seen no bug want so ever. the only thing it was wrong needed more pillows on the bed pillows were to small for bed.

Our non-smoking room was on the opposite side of a smoking room and smelled strongly of smoke. We were moved to another room that was better, but the front office staff was not very professional (using profanities at the front desk with waiting customers in the lobby). When we first got there the hotel room was so dirty, it looked like it was an abandoned house with dead bugs, nothing cleaned...it was gross. When the nice maid came and cleaned it, it was much better, but still have the feel of not being clean. I kept my 2 year old off of the floor the whole time. You get what you pay for!

Dirty room, lumpy beds, loud A/C bad overall experience

Staff was excellent... room was adequate for the price. But, toilet stopped up each day and shower curtain rod came down on the fiist day. While these were bummers, the staff's care definitely made up for the inconveniences... They were both friendly and professional.

I paid for a hotel that was supposed to have refrigerator and a microwave. Did not hsve either. The room was extremely hot and the air conditioner never cooled enough to feel comfortable. When i called front desk to inform them the front clerk was very rude. did not offer anything else and all she said was that to give the Ac unit time to cool down. […] I will never again make reservations at this location. very unsatisfied. :( Devamı

I have stayed at numerious hotels and this had to be the worst place ever. I would not recomend this dump to anyone

The price was good. Customer service was good. The pool looked nice even though it didn't look too clean. The room smelled weird and it wasn't the nicest room. My husband came out with bad allergies because of the smell. I rather pay a bit more for something better.

The hotel is more of an inn and is set back in a residential neighborhood. IT was comfortable and well equipped; the view is beautiful. The only negative was that the pool was not skimmed and there were bugs floating all over. Otherwise it was a nice experience.
