Hampton Inn Harrisburg West - Mechanicsburg

This hotel is very clean and beautifully decorated. It is a new hotel and features a very nice breakfast bar. However, it is isolated and there is nothing to do in the area. The staff was very nice and I would stay again.

This Hampton Inn was fantastic. We checked in around 6:00pm to a very friendly staff, fresh hot soup at the breakfast bar and fresh cookies. What's not to love! Our room was spotless and had all the things you need for extended stays... microwave and fridge. the next room over had young screaming children that woke us up early. There was a door between the rooms that didn't block out any sound. other than that, the hotel was great.

Perfect don't change a thing

This was my tenth stay at this hotel and like the previous times, the staff was friendly, the room was quite clean and welcoming, the bed was not too firm, not too soft and there was no disturbing noises. Every time i will come to Harrisburg/mechanicsburg i will be sure to stay here. Great service, nice rooms, excellent complimentary breakfast.

I've stayed at many hotels in this class of hotels while traveling with my dog. This was a good one. Plenty of sidewalks to walk the dog without having to walk into the grass. The hotel has a deli/restaurant on site that was very good and convenient.

I've stayed here 4 times. The feature we like the best is the breakfast. There are choices for children and adults. The staff has always been friendly and helpful.

Excellent choice. Extensive breakfast offered and the facility was very well maintained. Great service. One minor complaint. No (or broken) exhaust fan in bathroom.

Tired from a very long drive, this overnight stop was a refreshing joy. Our room was spotless, the bathroom was exceptional. Fridge & microwave in room. Complimentary breakfast was typical, but missed my bacon! The only disappointment was that there was no indoor pool or hot tub. my wife and i along with our 3 children stayed at this hotel on our way back from myrtle beach,we where very impressed on how clean and comfortable the room was along with the great breakfast the following morning.....i am certain we will be back again ....the service was wonderful.

Everything was exactly as we requested when placing our reservation for 2 rooms. Convenient location, connecting rooms, very clean rooms and bedding, comfortable mattresses. They had a great breakfast buffet that we all enjoyed - plenty of food with a nice variety each morning. They also had soup or chili, cookies, etc. in the evening. Coffee, tea […] and cocoa was available 24/7. The breakfast saved us quite a bit of time and money. We all enjoyed their nice, clean pool. We needed one night in Harrisburg. After reading all the other reviews, this looked like a good choice. We were right. The place was busy, but efficiently run. Only things I would change - need a larger pool.

We loved this hotel. We stayed for two nights to visit Hershey. The pool in particular was terrific. The kids loved playing in it. The breakfast was very good and there was lots of it...if something ran out they replenished right away. There was even soup and cookies in the evenings! Yum. This hotel overall was great. When I checked in the bathroom was not very clean and when I called to let the desk know they upgraded my room to a suite and compensated me with another night stay. The service from the desk and the managers were very helpful always asking how they can improve my stay. The housekeeping in this region seemed very poor overall […] even talking with others who were staying in the area. I could tell the walls in the shower were not wiped once the entire two weeks I stayed in the room. The breakfast buffet in the hotel was the best I have ever seen that was completely free. Many choices and the hotel would also serve dinner on occasion. Compared to the other hotels withinthe surrounding area this one topped them all. I will be back again to stay. I am totally satisfied with the accommodations. We were pleased with the breakfast buffet and the efficiency which the employee's accommodated the rather large crowd. There was a tournament going on in the area and the children were everywhere, but your employee's handled the situation in a very pleasing way. The best thing about this place was the breakfast. It was really nice. We also liked the cookies at check in. The room was ok, but a little small for the price.

My wife and I stayed here because we were visiting Hershey's Chocolate World and Gettysburg. Because of their geographic locations we wanted to stay somewhere centrally located between these two places, and so I chose the western side of Harrisburg. I wanted a place that had breakfast included and had a series of good reviews. This Hampton Inn wasn't […] like any other Hampton Inn I've stayed in before. The breakfast was rather expansive. We stayed three nights. The first morning was scrambled eggs, potatoes and sausage. The next morning was cheese omelettes and ham, and the last morning was western omelettes and maple sausage. Of course there was fruit, doughnuts, danish, muffins, toast, coffee, cereal, etc. The room was very clean and well maintained. The bathroom was very clean as well. You could tell the linens including the duvet was washed for each guest stay as they advertise. We were on the 4th and top floor, and never really had a problem with noise. Sunday morning there was more noise than normal because people were getting ready to check out and head home and Saturday night there was some noise emanating from the pool (heated, btw), but that didn't go late... maybe 10 p.m. Restaurants, shops, etc. directly around the hotel is somewhat non-existent, though it is rather centrally located to highways, including the PA Turnpike. There is a deli type place located directly next door to the hotel, although my wife and I didn't go. To get to the area of the city where the restaurants are located you have to drive several miles, but no more than a 10-15 minute drive. Overall, if there's any reason for you to be staying in this area, then stay at this Hampton Inn. Devamı

Clean, quiet and excellant breakfast, Close to the highway. Worth every penny. Better than more expensive hotels/ motels. Already booked for next trip.

We stayed here for 2 days it was clean, and the breakfast was great. The rooms were smaller than the regular Hampton Inns i stay in. But nonetheless it was a great stay. The staff was very nice and the lady at the breakfast buffett was very sweet. I would stay here again for sure.

We went to visit a nearby school and were very pleased with this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. A lot of TV channels to choose from. Breakfast was very good. We did not realize this hotel provides hot breakfast and variety of food.

I enjoyed the normal good service of the Hampton Inn chain. I guess this particular hotel is not as new as the one in Danbury, CT that I stayed at the night before. Although the staff were pleasant, the breakfast good, and the bed comfortable, a few items in the rooms could be updated which we enjoyed in the Danbury hotel--bigger bathtub, light switches […] with dimmers, and express checkout. in general the hotel was nice, with attentive staff and the usual amenities. two problems, one minor and the other major. minor-- the buffet breakfast was mobbed each morning, with no real place to sit. the more significant: the maid knocked on the door at 8:00 am and, when told we were not yet ready to go out, asked " well when will you be ready then". […] when we returned later that day all our towels had been taken and no new ones left. the desk readily obliged, but we left with a bad taste. I had read a few reviews stating that the hotel was being renovated, but because the room rate was pretty low, I wasn't sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the lobby, hallways, and rooms were very tastefully renovated, with contemporary furnishings and a clean, crisp look. The free full breakfast including egss and waffles was […] an added bonus. The location is a bit out of the way, there's really nothing much around it at all. Since we were there to go to our daughter's graduation, that didn't matter much to us. Overall, it's a great hotel for the price. Devamı

Convenient. Friendly and helpful staff. Good food. I enjoyed the fact that my room had a door leading to the inner courtyard.

We really enjoyed our stay and the staff was very thougthtful when one of us came down with a little bug during our stay. They really did a nice job!

The foyer was warm and inviting, as was the staff. The room was clean and the micro-fridge was a bonus, as well as the hair dryer, guest laundry, and comfy bed, all very welcoming since it was pouring the whole day.
