Very busy area, maybe a bit too busy sometimes, hotel was superb, Dexter our front desk agent that was on most of our week long stay was the best. I felt that the hotel it self was decent. The most disappointing part of my stay was finding out that when I booked my reservation with hotel.com, the miss information that was stated and the fact the hotel was unaware of the I for action that was posted.Other then that the stay was decent.

Fine. Except the internet connections at my room. It did not work for both my stays (I stayed at the same room, room 713).

This hotel was chosen because of the location, price, but mostly because of these factors plus it being rated as a Four Star... The lobby was nice, as was the staff. The parking was very lmited, which didn't really surprise us...but the rooms were far from the photos on the website or what you'd expect for a Four Star rated hotel...a bit disappointed...HOW […] DO THESE HOTELS GET THEIR RATINGS??? As this is our fourth time at this location, we will come again next year, I am usually in a 5 star hotel here in Canada, but I would say you guys are a good 4 for sure.Doug

Hotel service was good. Got an upgrade to a suite! Very spacious but could have used more furniture. Walking distance to beach and fun sports bar downstairs. Rooms seemed pretty clean.

I had to ask for a coffee maker. The room was not made up for our second night stay and no new coffee for the next morning. Otherwise OK.

The hotel was very close to international village, waikiki beach and bus stops. The staff are very friendly, and accommodating. The rooms are spacious and clean. I would not hesitate to go back again.

Bad 1. A/C is very old type. If I turn it on, it's so noisy that I can't sleep well. If I don't turn it on, outside is so noisy that I still can't sleep well. Sound insulation is very poor in this old building. Neighbors closing n' opening doors is very loud n' disturbing 2. Parking is a big issue. Their parking lot is small, for sure not enough space […] for all the guests. You have to expect street parking which is not easy... 3. I don't think the receptionists are friendly n' enthusiastic to help with questions like where to go. Probably they have answered these questions too many times in a day.... 4. They don't have service for luggage storage which we thought was a very common service. They would refer you to third party who would take your luggage to another place for $5/luggage a day. We arrived at the Pearl, following a long flight from the mainland, only to find that the front doors to the hotel were locked. Understandable, as the hotel was located in the worste and most dangerous part of Waikiki. We finally got in and were informed that there was no parking available at the hotel, but we could pay them $20 for a pass to park […] in a structure across the street. Upon arrive at the parking structure, I discovered that the nightly fee would have been $16 for the night had I gone directly there, rather than paying the hotel for a "parking pass." During my walk back to the hotel, I counted 8 prostitutes in the 1/2 block journey from the parking garage. The room was substandard with a beautiful view of the alley and hotel next door (30 ft away). One light switch controlled every light in the room and we most took the stairs to/from the 6th floor because the 2 elevators that serviced the entire hotel took forever. Avoid this hotel. Devamı

Shopping and restuarants close by. Easy walking distance to beach. Room very spacious, and very clean with enough beds for our party of five. Parking is very tight, but overflow works. We wished there were napkins or paper towels in the kitchen and a little more furniture in the bedrooms, at least a nightstand on each side of the bed. Staff friendly […] and helpful. Devamı

Good value for a centrally located hotel just a short walk from the International Market Place. One of few places around that has wired Internet, which I prefer.

Loved the location, the staff and the state of the rooms, though the elevators scared me a bit and there is no wifi in the room.

We had a wonderfull time in Hawaii, and our stay in Aqua waikiki Pearl, The People were freindly and happy to help in any way! no negatives all was great! already we have thoughts of next year!!!

low-rent hotel in the middle of beautiful resorts. Looks like a red-roof inn with outside door entries. alot of noise in hallways at all hours--probably college kids staying there due to lower price. The remote was so dirty that I didn't want to touch it. bring socks to wear on carpet! case of "you get what you pay for"--definitely cheaper than surrounding […] hotels. On the plus side, bus at the corner, along with a Starbucks, so location is convenient. Just don't expect to feel like you are treating yourself by going to Hawaii. Devamı

Room was a great price, great location. Staff are rude, unfriendly and unhelpful.

Hotel has been updated, room was clean, bathroom was clean. Surprisingly, my room was rather quiet since Waikiki can be noisy. My room faced another building and did not have a balcony, so if you want that, you should ask the desk when you check-in.

Ask for a room with balcony. We got a room without balconay. The view was the next hotel with their balcony, just about 10 meter. No chairs outsides, had to go to the beach or a restaurant for that. Missed that.

The staff at the Pearl were great and courteous, I can't say enough about their efforts. They have a facility that is located in a busy section of Waikiki and the rooms are not well sealed. You can hear everything that is going on outside. Each morning we were awakened by garbage trucks at about 5:30. It was REALLY loud. It almost didn't seem like the […] sliding glass door was even closed. The beds were clean, but really firm and made sleeping a bit difficult. They have a few parking spots on site, but the majority of the time guests are required to park three blocks away in a parking garage (I would estimate 20 on site spaces for about 200 rooms). This is a prime location for sure.. The staff was excelent and very nice... The Hotel is a bit old and make sure if you can get a front room with balcony.. we were in the back small room felt like a motel to us. parking convienent but has a charge... but all hotels there do... again staff very very nice.

hotel is nice clean and friendly staff. Room was good size and average bathroom. I had back room so there was no view. Location is good not to far from international market and a 5 min walk to Waikiki beach. Will stay again.

Cheap hotel. You get what you pay for.

Handy to beach, just cut through International market & close to food & transport. Overal good value. Dont use their overseas calling card machine because of the high rates, get a card from the ABC store just across the road.

We would not return. It was very expensive for what amounted to a very tacky converted studio apartment in a somewhat seedy part of Waikiki. Although parking was adequate, the room was depressing, and there were no towels in the bathroom when we checked in. The following morning, the housekeeping staff pretty much convened outside of our room on walkie-talkies […] set to VERY high levels and woke us up repeatedly. The location of Waikiki Aqua Pearl is close to restaurants, waikiki beach, royal hawaiian shopping center, dinner shows. Hotel bldg. is old, needs upgrading, couches in the lobby are a little bit dirty, cable tv needs more sports channels coverage. It would be a lot better if our room have a stove added to the microwave, ref., coffee maker with the […] hotel price I got. Also, the hotel should provide free parking for hotel residents. This is a great, slightly off-the-beaten-track hotel with exceptional service. Some other reviews commented on the noise factor: we heard no in-hotel noise at all. Any sounds were typical of a downtown hotel (the airport Hilton in Toronto was noisier!) with cars, garbage trucks and "city noise". It is a 5 minute walk to the beach, great restaurants […] and shopping. 20 minutes will take you to the Zoo, Aquarium and other wonderful beaches. We'd go again! Devamı

Stayed only one night according to plan but that was lucky because too much noise from some ventilation or something from the outside of the hotel.

This was a fabulous hotel. Everything new or as clean as new! Close to everything. And, most importantly, the staff provided 5 Star Service! They are the best hotel staff I have ever encountered!

Love the location of the hotel. Close to all amenities. and walking distance to the beach. Room itself do need to be renovated and upgraded. The staff were great. My cousins missed their flight, so they have to stay in Honolulu for one more night, I booked a standard room for them ( and got the same sale rate that I paid for my room), and when they […] arrived to checked in, the front desk clerk upgraded their room without even my cousins asking for an upgrade. With my cousins nightmare experience at the airport, the kindness the Front Desk clerk showed to my cousins were much welcome and appreciated. On my last day, my Shuttle bus was 15 minute late, I tried to get a hold of the shuttle bus company using my cell phone half a dozen times and could not get a hold of them. I asked the same Front Desk clerk to please call them on my behalf, after a few times trying , she finally got a hold of them for me and I now have peace of mind to know that the shuttle was late due to a parade. As a side note, while the Front Desk clerk were helping me with the shuttle, she was also on her bluetooth helping a guest with a life threatening emergency. I only found that out when the EMS and fire truck arrived at the hotel. Other staff were also helpful and friendly. The cleaning lady were friendly and were kind to me. The other Front Desk clerks were also friendly and helpful with my questions. I give the staff a big thank you and for making my stay at your hotel a pleasant and enjoyable experience. Devamı

We arrived in the wee hours of the morning and found a very helpful desk clerk and an equally helpful security person. The staff was a plus! There isn't nearly enough parking available for the number of rooms in the hotel and there is virtually no on street parking either. The meters have a two hour maximum. Very close to the main street so it is very easy to get to any where. Have a wonderful time.

An affordable hotel for those who are on a budget. No pool, restaurant or gym and minimal parking spots at rear of hotel. The Aqua Waikiki Pearl offers beach towels for your use to the beach, wi-fi (in lobby), internet connection in your room and a computer in the lobby all for free use. The room did come with a safe (for your valuables), a bar fridge, […] microwave and coffee maker all for no extra charge too. The Aqua Pearl is in a great location as far as the party scene goes...but be warned the rooms come with issues...toilets don't flush properly and its over sharing even for the closest of friends...From what I understand rooms frequently have something wrong. We stayed in 2 different rooms. The first was spacious and the second cramped to the point […] making the most relaxed person claustrophobic. We enjoyed staying from Mon 21 - Sat 26 Nov 2011. We especially enjoyed the location of this hotel, the closeness to the great shopping places and also to the public transport when we needed to take the bus. We hired a vehicle and so the ease of getting in and out of the hotel location was important to us.
