Great location, Wonderful staff, comfortable rooms. will visit again.

Lot of noise from pool activity and no privacy on 4th floor rooms because they surround pool and are on the same level as the pool. Wi-fi did not work in room unless you stood by the door to the room. The shower valve did not work so only a bath was possible. Everything else was fine.

Hotel wasgood but it didnt have an entrance direct onto the riverwalk as the name would suggest, It was however right on the riverwalk which is an awesome place to visit and the staff were all very friendly.

Hotel room nice but walls very thin! Could hear housekeeping vacuuming in morning. Not a great area of town. HBO and show time not working.

Clean rooms, decent location. Advertised wifi service was not very good.

Was not happy with this hotel at all. Really wish I would have picked a different. Hotel was far from the main area of the Riverwalk. Hotel staff was nice, but just not happy with the hotel location or room.

It was ok. No breakfast bar and no internet service. They should place a microwave in the rooms.

The shower was a nightmare and roaches were around closet & coffee maker.

Everything went well but the receptionist was rude

Great location-Hotel was a walk across the street to the Riverwalk and just a few blocks to the Alamo. The room was a little small but was maintained well. ( We had a KIng size bed) I would stay here again

When we arrived to check in they gave us specific instructions on how to park and whatnot...I did not realize it was so narrow. I am glad I had a small car because it seemed like people with larger vehicles were having issues getting up there and they dont seem to have ample parking so we decided to leave our car there and go walking to see the sights. […] Overall I enjoyed the convenience of the hotel and the complimentary water and pretzels. The pillows were very soft and I slept like a baby. I would stay again because of the ease to get to the Riverwalk. Devamı

Room had old tv 10channels 7 of which were hispanic hallways not vacuum. Would not stay again

It was at the end of the riverwalk and we had to walk awys to get to the resturants and such, but the main problem was that I couldn't get ahold of the front desk several times, it rang 15 or 20 times before someone picked up. Also we tried room service twice and were told we couln't get breakfast through room service and when we tried to order a pizza […] we were told we had to wait until 6. Devamı

the hotel itself was nice, the service at the front desk was not as good as i thought. stood there for about 15 to 20 minutes waiting to get my room. also there is no hot tub and no indoor pool. only 1 out door pool and its only heated in the winter. the reason i picked this hotel was for the hot tub, which was not there. the food from room service, […] or the restaurant down stairs, was horrible. they got my order wrong and the food made my girlfriend throw up the rest of the night. the bar was nice tho. Easy access to Riverwalk but didnt like having to pay to park as a guest at this hotel. Otherwise a great find.

I lived in San Antonio for years. This was my first stay at this hotel. Overall the Plaza is in a good location, safe parking and decent staff. The rooms however are so small. I am not normally claustrophobic, but the walls were closing in. I will never stay here again.

It's a lovely and picturesque hotel in a great location. the Rooms are attractive, and, while not perfectly maintained, are quite clean. My problem was the staff and ancillary services. There is no cafe, restaurant, or store to buy a bite to eat off schedule. When hotels are very busy and successful, the staff don't try as hard, and that was my definite […] impression here--they were polite, but unhelpful and dismissive, and didn't seem to care about our satisfaction; Getting a refund for early departure was a major hassle and run-around, with a substantial penalty. I thought the grace period was 24 hr advance notice, but they seem to feel entitled to several days' notice. Not really fair, imho. Devamı

Enjoyed our stay. Priced just right, nice view and the staff was out-going and friendly. Will definitely stay again.

As soon as we entered the room we were given it was obvious that the room had not been cleaned very well. The river view, did view the river, just not the river walk. If you don't plan on loking out the window it's OK. After talking to the General Manager about the condition of the room, we were moved to a different room, much, much better. Get a corner […] room if possable. The city view looked out to the court house much better view. Hotel staff were super friendly, very appoligitic for the condition of the first room they moved us to the second room. Very nice. I thought the pool was heated it may be but not in March, the water was ice cold much better to be enjoyed in the summer months. Security is high priority for the hotel staff, they saw us dancing in the hall on their security cameras. Tip- Don't act silly, because you are on candid camera. The parking garage was handy I felt a lot better not leaving my car outside and the elevator went from the car to almost to the room. Great place to stay, the staff was first rate. Devamı

To say all, the remote was held together with masking tape. It goes down hill from there.

If you are looking for a descent place on the riverwalk this is it. It is a bit secluded and a night walk did put me in a rush to get inside the hotel. If you get a room by the elevator request a different room! I should have. I could not sleep because the elevator was non-stop most of the night. The door security chain feel off, didn't close, I did […] call front desk but no one ever showed up to fix it, I had to figure it out myself. For the price, this is a good stay!

Even the hotel front office person was surprised at the rate I got. I did have to pay another $12 for parking which I wasn't aware of until after I booked the hotel. It would have been nice to have known this up front. But still, considering what I paid, the hotel was very nice and the staff was accommodating after I requested to move from a smoking […] to nonsmoking room. Only major complaint is that the walls were super thin. I could hear word for word the movie that was going on in the next room. Devamı

I called to confirm my king size bedthe day before I arrived.when I checked in they gave me 2 doubles.they told me I needed to park in the basement and walk up the stairs back to the elevators.upon getting to my room, we quickly noticed that the room was not clean.both mirrors were spotted, dust on furniture and tv, sheets had stains, window leaked […] and condinsated. Hotel is at the wrong en d of the Riverwalk. We stayed there and had to pay to park in their garage. Our room was across from the elevator and we could hear everything as if there was not even a door on the room. Web picture showed a jacuzzi tub and it is not. Where to start! My wife and I arrived to the hotel to find that the TV was not working. We were then moved to a different room where we uncovered blood stains in teh sheets. Were were then moved once again to uncover pubic hairs underneath one of the sheets. This hotels seems to have a low standard when it comes to house keeping. The pictures of this hotel are extremely misleading! The hotel is very old and run down. My room was stinky and the bed was uncomfortable. I was on the top floor and heard noises above me, like something scurrying around. The alarm clock didn't work. The shower barely worked. I could hear the TV in the room beside me like it was in my room. I paid extra […] for a "river view" room, but they didn't have any left. The breakfast was mediocre and my order was wrong. I thought I was getting a good place by the pictures, but the place is nothing like those pictures! It is also not very close to the Riverwalk, like they make you think. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! It was a pleasure staying here. The staff at the bar were very friendly, recommending places to go out in town based on what I explained I was looking for and it was easy getting stuff billed to my room. The rooms themselves were nice, I wish I could have stayed longer.

If not for the lack of a working shower the next morning, I would review the hotel in a higher light. Having to wash my hair from my knees however, gains the hotel a less than favorable review.

I say on the riverwalk about 5 times a year and this hotel is way over priced for its location and quality. Nothing at the hotel was organized or easy and many things just didn't work. I will never stay at this hotel again. For the money the money either Drury or the Holiday Inn are much much better.

Friendly staff and also has a great cafe and bar in the lobby. The only problem was the parking garage is difficult to navigate and there is not enough parking.

Hotel was located a end of Riverwalk which was great for getting to water taxi. Room was small & old feeling. Personal was not to friendly. Resturant in hotel not the best. Was ok but would not stay again.

Hotel is older which is part of the charm - many interesting paintings and murals. Our room was clean and comfortable and staff was very accommodating. Easy location to drive to and just a short walk to most restaurants along the RIverwalk. In fact we were able to look our our window onto the Riverwalk on the other side of the bridge below.
