Bathroom amenities/linens were terrible.

The room, with firm double bed, was small but clean and maintained, postage stamp bathroom, almost like an RV but equally clean. Hotel staff are young people, friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast area was minimal, we did not check it out but there are numerous restaurants close by; went to the Machine Shed Restaurant open at 7 am and just […] the other side of I39 on 20, a bit like a Cracker Barrel in layout. Really run down and in desperate need of an overhaul.

Know that we get what we pay for - staying here is a goo reminder. Clean enough. Easy acres to I-90. However, walls are paper thin and bathroom fan sounds like small jet landing. Everything in the room was clean and in working order, but the room itself was very loud. I could hear voices in the hallway as if they were in the room with me and the noise from the parking lot was very disruptive (I was on the ground floor).

Very nice hotel. Close to expressway. Easy on, easy off. Front desk person was very helpful and attentive. Was in only for one night but woould not hesitate to stay longer if needed at this hotel. Close to restaurants, nice room.

for the decent price we paid, this place was awesome. great place to lay our heads after a long day visiting. just off the highway and within 10-15 mins of anything you need in rockford. staff was very friendly and they had a decent breakfast included even on thanksgiving! good donuts and a wafflemaker!

For the price, it doesn't get much better. The negatives were poor pillows and a poor mattress. However, on checkout I was asked if anything could be improved and when I mentioned the mattress, the front desk worker immediately wrote it down and said she would forward the note on to maintenance. Breakfast was very good as well.

Stayed at it on a business trip. Staff is EXTREMELY friendly! Only complaint is that the bathroom was a little small. So impressed with the room that I booked a block of 10 for our benefit hockey game this fall.

Excellent value- enjoyed the stay. Our only complaint was that the Internet was down for 2 of the 5 days we were there which made it difficult to conduct business.

I was hesatent to stay at this hotel because it had some bad reviews but it was the best review rating in my budget. When i arrived i was plesently suprised and had an amazing stay the host were very help full, nice, and personal even thought the place was sold out. It also was a great location few seconds away from favorite rockford buisnesses.

We requested a non smoking room and we were placed in a non smoking room but sandwhiched on a floor between several smoking rooms. The towels had managed to carry smoke in the fibers and you could smell it while trying to dry off.

JUST NEEDED A STOP FOR ONE NIGHT ON OUR WAY TO CHICAGO. GOOD PRICE. CLEAN. THE WOMAN THAT CHECKED US IN WAS FANTASTIC. SO HELPFUL AND NICE. I SHOULD HAVE TAKEN THE TIME TO GET HER NAME. WOULD RECOMMEND.

I checked in on Saturday afternoon July 2nd I paid for that night separate. And July 3rd thru the 5th i bookd Hotels.com. The first morning I got up we left around 11.00am the maid was across the hall. I did not have anything on my door not to clean. I came back later that day and my room had not been clean no clean towels nothing. My daughter went […] down to the front desk and asked about our room being dirty and they said sorry the maid had gone home we will make sure she comes in the morning. I got up the next day left early because I wanted to make sure the room got cleaned and trash taken out. I didnt come back until late that day still room dirty no towels and trash everywhere. I went down to the desk and the girl said we had you checking out today WRONG. She went and found my check in and said oh Im sorry we were wrong. But all of our maids are gone fro the day sorry. My whole stay there I never got my room cleaned the garbage was everywhere and no clean towels until we went down and asked for some. UNEXCEPTABLE. Rae T Devamı

We stayed here last Christmas and was very happy with everything except their waffle maker was broke. We came back again in June and had a very good stay. The waffle maker was working. The staff is exceptional; very friendly and helpful. Stayed 5 nights and would go back again. Very clean.

Bathroom was really small and a person could slip in the tub, water didn't drain out so when taking a shower had about 6 inches in tub at same time.

Having stayed at another Days Inn a few days before, I was very surprised that this one was a less than satisfying experience. I know these chains are independently operated--but, man, that makes a difference. This Days Inn was world's away in quality, comfort, and follow-through. This hotel is in a prime spot right off the highway, but it's showing […] it's age--mostly because the management isn't keeping up with things. Location is the only thing going for it. The room smelled. Bad. Plus, there was a huge water stain on the ceiling of our room--an obvious tip-off that they have a leaky roof. The air never seemed to cool off the room and it was only in the low 80s outside. The breakfast the next morning was really sparse and seemed thrown out as an afterthought. Devamı

We were in Rockford for a Bmx race so we just needed somewhere to sleep. The bathroom was extremely small but we survived. The complimentary breakfast was great. The staff was friendly and willing to please.

Thanks fior the hospitality of the staff at Days Inn. We would recommend this to a family that is looking to watch their money. This is a clean hotel that offers everything you need. the location is prime and there are plenty of eateries and places to shop. Enjoy your stay!! God Bless

It was clean, comfortable, and close to many eateries and shopping. It was worth the amount of money we paid. It could have larger TV's in the room.

While I read the reviews about the hotel being filthy, musty, bad hotel service, I was very hesitant to stay here, but with the price I couldn't pass it up. While the room was a little musty, the air conditioner van setting cleared that up for the most part. You could tell that our non smoking room used to be smoking, but it wasn't horrible. The room […] was 1 double bed and we had our 2 year old with us. The room was spacious even with three people in it. The bathroom was a tad small. You have to stand in the bathtub in order to shut the door (but who really spends the majority of the trip in the bathroom.) We had an early check in and I had called a couple hours before we arrived. The front desk said it shouldn't be a problem. When we arrived, the front desk didn't know if any of the double rooms had been cleaned and they had to hunt down the maid service. Breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast. You can make your own waffles, bagels, toast, cereal and juices. The only complaint I have about the breakfast was that the donuts on hand were kind of stale. Arrived late on a Thursday. Clerk checked us in promptly with no problem. Room was the average predictable hotel room with 2 beds as requested. We slept well, room was already cooled, with the AC on. The breakfast is breads, cereals and juice. Coffee at breakfast and in the room. Good accommodations for a two star. No restaurant in walking distance. […] Cracker Barrel about 1 mile away. I had to change the date of my stay and they were very accomodating and I got money back because the room was cheaper on the new night! So cool!

You get a good place to stay for the price that you pay. Although they could do a better job with the mattress! I have stayed in different hotels with the same price and the beds were WAY better than this one. But excellent staff.

The hotel was fine, but nothing special. Room was a good size, but the bathrooms are very small. Lots of restaurants, etc. nearby.

There was hair in the bath tub and it was clear that it wasn't cleaned from the previous user. AC worked fine and the location was good. However, I will look else where if I stay in the area again.

I was very disappointed in the staff of the hotel. I pointed out to the girl at the desk about 9pm that the outside exit door in the middle of the building could not be opened from the inside. She looked at it and said she would leave a note for the maintenance man to look at it in the morning. I pointed out that it was a serious fire code violation […] and the maintenance man should fix it at once not in the morning. She said she would contact him. In the morning the door still didn't work. She not only hadn't gotten anyone to fix it, but, she hadn't even left any note of the problem in the pass along log. The hotel chain website and Hotels.com review both state that the hotel is pet friendly. What it does not mention anywhere is that there is a mandatory $25 pet fee. I booked the room here because Hotels.com had a great last minute special. Had I known about the additional pet fee, I would have used the $25 to stay at a higher end hotel that lets pets […] stay free. Other than that, the hotel was ok. The only other issue was the breakfast. While the make your own waffles were great, the entire breakfast offering was nothing but grains (cereal, bagels, english muffins, donuts, muffins). For a quiet nights sleep. This no frills hotel could work out just fine for you. Nothing wrong with this room, just not the nicest hotel in the area for the price.

Found deal in Hotels.com. Reviews showed a great deal, but probably for the price it is ok if you are traveling single or one couple. We had 2 kids and it was too small for us. Just planned to spent the night, but wished I had a hotel with Pool and bigger accommodations for the kids. Overall, Hotel is old trying to be clean. My only complaint would be the lack of an elevator as I had a couple heavy cases of camera gear that I had to carry up to a 2nd floor room, but other than that it was a clean, pleasant low-priced hotel.
