Bayside Inn at the Wharf - San Francisco

Bız otelde 2 gece kaldık cok begendik. otelin yeri ve fiyatı uygun, temiz wharf a yurume mesafesinde. Gunduz hep disardaydik, Arabayı otoparktan bir kere çıkardık... Orta halli bir butceyle hareket ediyorsanız kesinlikle tavsiye ederiz, malum daha iyinin sonu yok:)

Small room, but clean. All the staff were great! The location and price made it well worth any shortcomings. DO NOT EAT at the Pergamino Cafe, down the street, it was horrible!

They charged me every day with $17 for parking. The manager every morning knock on my door asking me to pay, with very rude manners.

It is obvious you get what you pay for. However the last thing I was expecting (besides on how dirty, out of maintenance, noisy) was to the guy (I guess it was the manager) to knock at my door every day yelling that I havent pay the parking. Since I pay the nights through hotels.com, they trickly dont include $18 for daily parking, which they collect […] everyday knocking at your door and they wait outside for you to hand them the money. The staff were great and we really appreciated the 12PM check out. It's 2 blocks from the wharf, which made it worth while. It was fairly clean with the exception of some cigarette burns in the bed spread. (In our non-smoking room.) The bathroom was very clean. Hotel location was fantastic, but we had a horrible smell which we think was coming from the carpet.

I gave this hotel a 5 because we knew it was a lower grade hotel, but it was a nice lower grade & the neighborhood & location are great! My husband and I needed a quick hotel to stay in overnight for my 30th birthday and this was perfect! I always check the room before bringing up all our luggage, the first room lights didn't work. Crappy little hotel that is perfect if you are hardly there and it is within walking distance to the Wharf. Don't expect too much and you won't be disapointed.

This was a great location for sites at the wharf as well as to get busses, etc. to go to the other places we needed to go. We had a very small room and certainly not the nicest motel we've been too. You get what you pay for. Needed to carry our luggage to the 2nd floor. Certainly no frills!!!

It's all about the location. To the hotel's credit, it is clean, my bed was comfy, and the desk staff very polite and helpful. We stayed there to do a swim race, and the proximity is perfect. Nothing fancy.

We choosed this hotel for our second stay in san francisco on the same holliday only because of it's location close to Pier 33 (ca. 1 km, 5 minutes as ped.) where alcatraz cruises is located. Otherwise I would have choosen a different location to stay. The free WiFi is very slow. The staff at the front desk was not very friendly. We stayed at this Hotel for the Location & parking, not for the amenities. It was close to Aquatic Park which we wanted for the Alcatraz Swim event, and the parking cost $15. Most Hotels in the area charge $45 for daily parking. That in itself made it worth it. If you are going to spend any time at all in your room, this is not the hotel for you. The bed was so uncomfortable, the ceiling looked like it was going to collapse, no A/C, alarm clock or even a soap dish in the shower. The room smelled musty and the staff was less then helpful. The only thing good I can say was that it was close to the Wharf and it had cable TV.

This was an adequate hotel for a couple of nights stay. A bit more maintenance in the room could be done. Hair dryer was ripped from the wall and there was a big hole in the bathroom door. Rooms have been renovated with comfortable beds & linens. Location was very convenient for our needs.

The room was clean and a good location. The daily parking fee of $15 was moderate for the area but it had to be paid in cash.I was confused about the Caution sign on the back of the room's door. When we looked into the Bayside Inn at the Wharf it showed three stars. It absolutely doesn't warrant more than 2 stars. The room, available services and overall quality of our stay fell way short of our expectations. Definitely will not return.

I stayed in this hotel near the wharf in San Fransisco. It was much cheaper than alternative hotels. There was no A.C. but you don't really need it in San Fransisco usually. Great place to stay for a weekend vacation walking up and down the wharf, can take cable cars or walk nearly anywhere from here. I booked this motel after reading all the reviews but it was $100 a night less than anything around it. The walls were thin and was glad I asked for and received a 3rd floor (top floor) room, so I didn;t have to listen to the squeeks that I was creating walking on the floor. The bed spead was torn and worn and the curtins mostly covered the window. […] Overall the room was small and very tired and did not smell very good. I received call the first morning from a woman who had stayed in the room right before I arrived. She was suffering from a reaction to bed bug bites. I was extremely careful and did not encounter any bedbugs. Back home now for two days and my clothes and suitcase are still on the patio as I am trying to make sure I don't bring anything back into my house. Location was next to a Marriott and two short blocks from Fisherman's Wharf, so that was great. If you go over to Union Square ask the cabbie to take Jones Street. What a dump! Dirty, very small, poorly maintained room. Smelly with no amenities. You have to walk down to the tiny lobby for cups or glasses. Never again.

That's it in a nutshell, its a walk to all the attractions and transportation. The manager was very friendly and helpful. We didnt use the car at all while there and it was only 15 per day for parking where others were 45 per day

Obviously for 1/2 the price of surrounding hotels, it makes sense. If you are trying to impress your travel mates, this is the wrong place. My friend and I are used to some shady places after backpacking the world together, but this place was right up there. THE FACILITY IS A BIT RUN DOWN, BUT REASONABLY CLEAN? THE LOCATION IS GREAT FOR ACCESS TO FISHERMAN'S WHARF ETC.

You get what you pay for and nothing more. The room was affordable and clean. It's close to the pier so for the price it served its purpose

This is dirty and bad maintained place. They charge additionally fifteen bucks for parking (above room price). Try other hotels.

If your looking for a clean place, with a friendly staff, near the wharf, this might be the place for you. We spent our time exploring San Francisco and only used our room for sleeping and showering. It was wonderful for that purpose. If you plan on spending a lot of time in your room you may want to check with other places. The hotel could not be closer to all the great places in San Francisco. It is right in the heart of Fisherman's Warf, Gharadelli Square and not far from the finacial district, China town, and Golden Gate.

Friendly staff and a great loacation. Reminds me of a smaller European hotel. Nothing fancy for sure but who stays in your room in San Francisco.

Bayside Inn is a small & kind of shabby motel, but is in a great location for the wharf & Ghiridelli Square. The room had been renovated & was clean. We paid for parking for the day & they were willing to let us park there the next day for a fee even though we were checked out. The staff was very accommodating.

We rented the room simply as a place to sleep. The hotel was in a great location in relation to the marina considering the price. The hotel itself was shabby and run down. The hotel staff was very unhelpful. We went in to ask where the best place to catch a cab would be and the attendant said "at the corner or, you can use the yellow pages in your room […] to call." The hotel was an excellent location, the bed was comfortable, shower good and room was clean. The room was small and lacked amenities but for the price and location we were very satisfied. If your planning to spend your time venturing around San Francisco I would highly recommend it, if you plan to be in your room and want amenities try one of the high […] priced hotels right across the street. We wanted a comfortable bed and a close location at a good price and that's what we got. The staff was helpful and let us leave our luggage in room because we arrived earlier than check in. This is an older Hotel that has had improvments done to it.The room and bathroom are very small with no closet or place to set suitcase.Parking cost 15.00 a day and there isnt enough.Coffee and Muffins were suppose to be available in the office but wernt there.The place was clean but could use things like small fridg and microwave. The location of this hotel is superb . . . Just two blocks from cable car and Fisherman's Wharf and an easy walk to North Beach eateries. A fairly modest hotel, the weekday price was quite a good one but amenities were limited. Biggest problem was that without air conditioning, the window had to be open. Very disappointed with Hotel, room was very small, smelt bad, beds were rock hard, mini fridge and microwave didn't work.I thought I was getting a better value than surrounding hotels but ended up having to pay $40.00 a night because there parking lot only accomadates half the amount of rooms they have, they have no other parking around them except […] public parking witch costs a arm and a leg in San Francisco! I will never stay there again. There are much nicer Hotels everywhere with parking garages that are included in your nightly cost. Don't make the same mistake I made. Great location, walking distance to Fishermans Wharf, Chinatown and more. The vacuming could be improved, but otherwise clean enough. The clerk was not very helpful, when we asked him for help.
