I booked through Hotels.com and was disappointed not to get two rooms together. I stopped by earlier in the day to see if this was possible and told it was. When we checked in later, our rooms were five rooms apart. We went here over memorial day weekend 2013 and when we got there the room smelled of urine. The house keeper once called acted like she could smell nothing. The soap was used before we got there and the pillows smelled like someone had been sleep on them, so that tells me that they were not changed. I will never I mean never stay there again.

We got a great deal to stay here at the Courtyard; the price was right and the hotel far exceeded our expectations. It was immaculate, the location was great, and it had an indoor/outdoor pool with wonderful outdoor seating.

Our stay was very nice. Unfortunately the refrigerator did not work. The window heater was a little old. Too much heat or too much cold.

The staff was friendly and the room was clean. My original room had a defective air conditioner unit so I was given another room. The new room had a defective telephone. Someone needs to go through that motel and do a quality check.

The hotel was clean for the most part. We were disappointed that there was no free breakfast. This, alone, will prevent us from staying here again. There are other similarly priced hotels in the vicinity that do include a free breakfast. Additionally, there was accumulated dirt and hair in one corner of the bathroom floor. We cleaned this ourselves. […] Our bathroom sink faucet leaked. We wiped it with a washcloth after every use. Finally, on our last night, there were no washcloths left for our use. The hotel was what I normally expect from a Marriott brand. Well kept, maintained and clean with friendly service. The only complaint I have is that the bed was amazingly uncomfortable.

Quiet room, beds were very comfortable. Nice pool with plenty of towels. Staff very pleasant and responsive (we had requested a rollaway bed).

We chose the hotel due to its proximity to Busch Gardens. The pool and landscaping were very nice and the staff was helpful. The only complaint was the room. The carpet needs to be replaced or deep cleaned.

Hotel buildings very worn. We arrived after dark and I was a little nervous- travelling with 3 kids. The place looked a little better the next morning in the light- but not much. Outside hand rail going up stairs was broken and 'dangling', leaving a dangerous piece of metal in the concrete. Main buidling looked much more worn than the exterior building […] our room was in. We mistakenly tried to find our room in the main building (tired and didn't follow directions very well about where to park and enter other building). Carpet and elevator in main building were bad looking. Additionally, very poor lighting in parking lot around buildings- additionally leading to the scary ambience at night. The easy access to the hotel and proximity to Busch Gardens made it a great choice after a day in the park. Very nice room and facilities too. Recommended.

Had a great stay at the Hotel, nice location, clean and comfortable. Front desk staff was very courteous and went out of their way to meet our needs which we did not include in our online reservations.

Loved it! Busch Gardens was a very short drive from this hotel. You could see one of the roller coasters in the sky from the hotel.

I'm not sure if it was just the rush of business from the 4th of July but our room was not ready for a 3 pm check-in. I could understand the boost in business would have slowed the staff down however it was inconvenient to have to wait around for our room after driving 5.5 hours. Restaurant food and staff was Excellent Front desk staff was very good Housekeeping staff was poorly supervised and did a marginal job of cleaning at best especially in regards to the bathroom Bed felt worn out and uncomfortable

Bed was really comfortable, but we expected more from a Courtyard. The room was small, TV was not wide screen - so part of the picture was cut off and TB did not swivel to allow you to comfortably watch from bed. There was a refrigerator, but it was barely cold with no controls to allow the guest to set the temperature. The bathroom was clean, but the […] sink/counter area was very small with the soap dish caulked in place (how tacky). The small sink space it difficult for two adults to have their toiletries out. One real plus was the heat/AC did not cycle on/off during the night – quiet and even sounds – slept great! Devamı

Wow! If I had walked into this hotel room without knowing it was a Marriott, I would have sworn it was a local "cut rate/dive" motel. The seals on the windows were bad or the windows were cracked, so that the vapor lock was gone. Thus, the windows were frosted over so bad you couldn't see outside at all. The HVAC system never regulated itself....it […] was either hot or cold every other hour. The TV looked to be about 30 years old (huge picture tube and chassis). It was seated on a swivel base that seemed like it would topple over if pushed or pulled without care. There was only wired internet access.....again, I just expected more (wifi) from Marriott in a tourist type location. Devamı

Hotel showed it's age but was well maintained and clean. Room was comfortable and clean. Beds were especially comfortable. Room temperature control good, A/C unit had a loud hum (only a little louder than would be typical). Small fridge in room, good sized bathroom & tub/shower. The staff were all quite friendly and very helpful. The restaurant area was clean. The room decor: carpet, furniture, etc. was a bit tired an the mattress too soft. There wasn't much to see or do in the immediate vicinity of the hotel other than Busch Gardens. As our stay was prior to their season opening... you get the idea. Even with the very nice […] Expedia rate, this stay seemed a bit pricey for a three star accommodation. However, if you were going to be at the park all day and just wanted a clean room that's not too far away and a friendly front desk, the price may be right you. Devamı

I knew to expect friendly and helpful customer service as well as excellent rooms from a Marriott hotel and was not dissappointed at all. My family intends to return to Virgina in the near future for a longer stay and will definitely stay at the Courtyard again.

Nice hotel in a quiet location, convenient to attractions in the area. The room was a bit small but it was comfortable and clean. Wish there was a free continental breakfast included. Would stay again. Staff was very friendly & helpful. Only one guest washer & dryer - need more!! Had trouble doing laundry as they were always in use.

This was our family's first visit to the Williamsburg area. We chose this hotel because of it's convenience to Busch Gardens. It is convenient but seems to be in the middle of nowhere. If you have children in your party a wiser choice would be to select a hotel about 4 miles west in the newer section of Williamsburg where there are lots of restaurants […] and newer hotels. The Courtyard Marriott's room was hot (air conditioner was not working properly)...I reported this to the staff and they did fix it (for the most part) early the next day. The carpeting in our room was also old. The indoor/outdoor pool was interesting, but has also seen better days. As far as cleanliness goes, our room was very clean, as was the rest of the hotel. This is an older property that is conveniently located near Busch Gardens and other attractions. It is an older property, but the rooms were clean. The indoor/outdoor pool was poorly maintained, with hair, insects and other debris floating on the surface. With 100 degree temperatures, I expected to use the pool, but its condition prevented any such […] use. On one day of our stay, our room was not cleaned and on another day, I had to specfiically request the room be cleaned because it had not be cleaned by 2 pm. Would not stay there again. Devamı

Previous reviews indicated that the hotel did not provide coffee in the lobby -- they do now and it's there 24/7. Yes, breakfast is NOT included with the cost of your stay. There are PLENTY of pancake and waffle houses in the Williamsburg area but remember they can include a long wait. The hotel provides two types of buffets -- full and continental […] and will cook to order. 4 teenage girls give the pool a big thumbs up (because it was open until midnight) and the pool is inside and outside.
