Days Inn South Seattle / Kent - Kent

The front desk was fast and answered our questions we had regarding the surrounding area. The hallway to the room had a musty smell. Workers were painting the wood trim, hopefully they are in the process of updating the property. Our room had a very musty smell, luckily the wind was blowing and we could air out the room for several hours. The carpet […] had several patches in it, and a large burn mark from a hot iron landing on the floor. The bedspread had several tears in it and a post on the headboard was broken, we removed the post during our stay and replaced it before leaving. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom had only two towels, no floor mat to place next to the tub. There was not a clock in the room . The breakfast area was large and clean and nicely appointed, with a limited choice of breakfast items. The landscaping looked as though it had been neglected for quite awhile. The location of the property is close to a few fastfood and regular restruants. We found the stay to be quiet from road noise. Overall we would stay again, because of the location and the quietness, and to see if they have continuted making improvements. Devamı

OMG I can't believe this is a 2 star hotel. Extendedstay america is a 2 star hotel they are way clean have a kitchen and will check u in early if they can. They are most of the time. cost less than the Day's inn.You will have hot water at extended stay. Please dont go here they will not give u ur money back. Also very noisy. towels are icky and service […] is not friendly. I dont normally write reviews but thought i should. PS. I had also stayed at the Day's inn before and told them about it. This time I asked and they said they fixed the problem. No Way they didn't they had a clip board full of rooms with no water!!!!! Devamı

This hotel was a mess. I am convinced it is nothing but a party hotel. There also seem to be more permanent residence than traveling guests.

1. NOT CLEAN 2. TOILET SEAT MISSING A BOLT 3.DIRTY WASH CLOTH ON SHOWER ROD 4. TORN BLANKET 5. NO HOT WATER AT SINK 6. SINK FACET WOULD NOT SHUT OFF.

The hotel is low priced, allows pets and is close to many conveniences. Remember that you get what you pay for. I don't think I will stay here again. The staff was very friendly/

Check in and check out were fine but when walking into the hotel there was feces on the wall by the door! It was so nasty! The poor front desk lady cleaned it up asap but it completely tainted our stay and made me rethink ever staying at a Days Inn again. It was also very disturbing to hear a bunch of people in the hall talking about their time in prison. […] I wish my husband had been with me. I didn't feel very safe. Devamı

Room smelled strongly of smoke. Hotel bathroom needed cleaning, pillows and sheets were not clean. Would not stay there again and would suggest no one else stay there.

for the price this hotel is decent... the beds were surprisingly comfortable and the room was clean. only complaint was the lack of food selections for breakfast. but they did have cereal, stale cresants, muffins and waffles (waffles were good).... staff was friendly and helpful. and we ended up getting there a little late and they still held our room […] and were pleasant even with a late check in. all in all...it was decent for the money Devamı

Check in late was good. Carpet in hallway seemed old and not so appealing.Room seemed ok and clean. but, didn't like the 1" cigarette burn hole in blanket seen when removing the comforter. The lady next door was also a bit noisy as she and someone were doing all night exercises in bed. If it wasn't for the burn hole and loud neighbor I would have liked […] the place. Devamı

Walls are thin, and I was kept up all night by someone who brought in a pet next door. Room kinda smelled when I walked it, despite it being a non-smoking room. Took a while for the hot water to come in the shower. TV operates weird, you have to dial in the number on the remote every time in order for it to change channel. Neighborhood is really shady, […] as I heard people walking around all night. Not recommended, but if you're looking for a cheap hotel in the Seattle area, I guess it's a good pick. Devamı

If you are looking for a cheap place to stay that is somewhat nice this is not the place to stay. The only thing nice about this hotel is it's staff. Everything else stinks, literally and figuratively. Not to mention it is in a very sketchy part of Kent.

This hotel stated it was close to airport, it was at least 15 miles from the airport. When we arrived we were immediatly concerned with the location and the Days Inn itself, both looked very seedy. Leaving our men at home and it was just us 2 women on this trip and we were very leery of the place but it was getting late so we checked into our room. […] Upon going into the room we noticed there was not a security latch on the door so we put the luggage rack with our luggage on top in case anyone tried to get in. (we thought this would make some noise lf there was an atempt to get in) We put the Do Not Disturb sign on the outer doorknob. and of course locked the door, around 2AM The light in our room came on and somebody said they were just checking. It turned out the hotel staff ignored the do not disturb sign did not knock or call before hand and just barged into our room to just "Check" We complained to the front desk of this intrusion and stated we would not pay for that night. The staff was very apologetic when we checked out and did refund the charge of the nights stay. I will probaly never chance staying at a Days Inn again. Devamı

The staff was very helpful but the location was pretty scary. There are closer budget hotels to the airport if you do your research. Room sorely out of date. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Clean rooms, Friendly customer service, Good breakfast. Cant beat the quality for the price.

My friend and I needed a place to stay for 1 night and the only good thing I can say about this place is that the beds were comfortable. The secondary lock system on the door had been kicked in and the room smelled musty. No hot water in the sink, no rug to stand on after getting out of the shower in the bathroom and there were cigarette burns on the […] counter. The breakfast was ok, not great. There is a much better place to stay just a couple of blocks away and I think that's where we'll stay the next time we're in Kent. Devamı

Needed a place to stay for one night, the price was attractive, but I got what I paid for. The hotel is old, stayed on the first floor, the room had some smells. Staff was neither friendly nor rude, just OK.

Single queen non-smoking room was very small compared to pictures and description. It had an old stained comforter on bed and looked as if it was once the appartment of employee or something. Requested different room but there were no more queen rooms available. Instead we were put into a business king room and had to pay an upgrade fee. Our room was a non smoking room and it smelled like mold and old cigarettes. When we opened the curtains to the windows we could see the mold surrounding the window. The tv was difficult to turn on you had to turn on manually then you could use the tv controller. Not enough outlets to plug in a computer, cell phone, ect. 1st, after assigning room, the TV, which the feront desk knew about, did not work. We discovered this after we unpacked. After a room move, that tv was not setup to watch, and no instructions. The room had it's secondary lock system removed. the small breakfast in the am, was very weak at best, upon returnig for our second night, the key did not work. […] The room had not been serviced. There just didn't seem to be enough staff to provide quality customer service. They were out of a lot of the foods for breakfast and the lady at the front desk seemed put-out and frustrated when asked to refill so we could eat breakfast.

Good place to stay for the price and location. Few minutes away from the airport. Location is close to restaurants, stores, etc.

Clean comfortable rooms. Good mattress. Nice breakfast bar. Friendly staff.

THIS PLACE WAS OK , ITS NOT THE RED LION BUT IVE STAYED IN WORSE .. THE ONLY DOWN FALL TOO IT WAS THEY HAD JUST RECENTLY PAINTED AND IT STUNCK REALLY BAD LIKE THE PAINT THEY HAD USED.. NEIBORHOOD WAS GOOD AND THERE IS A CHEAP GAS STAITION AND A BAR NEXT DOOR

A great place for the price, good breakfast and the rooms were clean.

Shuttle has to be reserved 24 hours in advance . They don't tell you this in their ad.The hotel just needs a lot of work or torn down.

WHEN I ENTERED THE HOTEL HALLWAY IT SMELLED LIKE URINE. THE ROOM DID AS WELL. THE SMELL I BELIEVE ACTUALLY WAS CAUSED BY THE RUGS HAVING BEEN SHAMPOOED. I DON'T KNOW WHY THIS OCCURS BUT IT ALWAYS DOES. IT JUST MADE IT UNCOMFORTABLE STAYING THERE THINKING THAT THE SMELL WAS SOMETHING WORSE. I ALSO FELT THE WET MOISTURE WHEN I TOOK OFF MY SHOES TO GET […] INTO BED, AGAIN CREATING PANIC AS TO WHAT I WAS STEPPING IN. Devamı
