Hotel, staff and amenties nice. It was close to the beach. Room was clean. View was good. Bed was too soft for both of us.

In the future I would seek another hotel for Honolulu. There are plenty of choices and for the money this one was not worth it. The staff was excellent that much I can say. As for the rooms, they were small and the bathrooms lwere the size of a closet and NOt very clean. The bathrooms are old and need renovating. It also smelled of mold from the vent. […] The room was okay. You can do better for the price in either way. Devamı

The hotel staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. There were two things that would cause me to look at other options if I stayed in Hawaii again. 1) You are pretty much forced to use the valet due to lack of parking, but I expected it a little since we were next to the beach. 2) They told me I had the choice to pay for parking with my card or cash. […] I told her cash, but they charged my card anyway. When I mentioned this, they submitted a request to have it removed. This should not be an automatic charge without your consent. Devamı

Across from an excellent and safe swimming beach. No sharks, no waves, safe. Good for children and families. Plenty of room on beach, soft sand, no rocks, shells or reef in water. Next to Catholic church. Decent room. Frig and safe provided free. Amenities provided, hair dryer and hot water/coffee maker. Hotel elevator makes you use your room card […] to go up the elevator which was an annoying security feature. If you forget your key the hotel staff makes it very unpleasant and are uncooperative to get another key replacement. Cannot beat the location. Devamı

The service in the hotel was not what expected of the Marriott. While it was OK, expected more from the Marriott chain. The location is excellent. It is across the street from a kid friendly and great beach. One of the best beaches in all of Waikiki. The beach is protected by a sea wall so excellent for young children and swimming, containing calm waters […] and no waves. We had a very nice view from our room. The hotel is also right next to a beautiful Catholic church which was great. The room was a bit bare bones and room service was more of a pain than outstanding always coming at akward times and several times had to point out missed areas. The hotel is large. It has handy two convenience stores on the property which make it easy. The rooms contain a small refrigerator which is excellent to store perishable items and drinks. We found this very helpful, convenient and economical. They also have a free safe in your room which you can use for your valuables and peace of mind. A hair dryer and coffee maker was provided and was helpful. I was disappointed not to see a lot of live free entertainment and bands on the premises as some other hotels have. We did not use the restaurants on the premises as they were too expensive and not good value. The pools were open for a long time and they have a work out room and provide towels which was great. Unfortunately you have to ask and search for local bus information which could have been clearer and more helpful especially since the bus stops outside the door. The hotel was in decent shape. If your looking for a great location this is it! The hotel was right across the street from Waikiki Beach, and two blocks from all the shopping and resturants. Also Diamond head is 1.5 miles from hotel. Scooter renta was right across the street as well. Very central location, great service, nice gym and everyone was so friendly.

This so-called 4* hotel would feature very low in terms of value for money; it shouldnot be called a resort at all. We had an 'Ocean View' room and thought we paid a premium to enjoy the views of the ocean - guess what... you had to go to the balcony and stick your neck out to catch a glimpse of the ocean. The view from the room was that of Diamond […] Head - why not call it Diamond Head view and avoid deceiving the customers? The room size was overly crammed room and the bathrooms were small. No door separating the wash basin and the bedroom made it noisy. The pool was a disappointment - most apartment complexes would have better pools. The service could have gone a long way with some smiles - we had some grumpy hotel front desk reps. Overall, the lcoation was good, the linen was clean but would not go back to this 4* until it drops to a 3* price!!! Devamı

This hotel was an amazing stay, especially having been upgraded to a suite from the ocean-view room we had booked. We had 4 balconies boasting multiple views of the Pacific Ocean and Waikiki Beach, as well as 2 beds and bathrooms. The buffet breakfast was awesome as well. The beach was just across the road and shops were within walking distance, with […] some even within the hotel complex itself. Although there was no internet wifi in teh rooms, you could access the internet wifi connection in the lobby. Overall, the hotel is a winner. Loved it! Devamı

This hotel was nice, but every time our family needed to go in the elevator or enter our room, the key card system would not work. The key would work in the elevator, then not the room door or both. It was very inconvienent to have to go to the front desk to have the key card rekeyed. There also was not enough Customer Service Agents to help individiuals […] and was very frustrating because of the waiting time . We were not the only family with this problems. Other customers cards would not wok in the elevator. The systems needs to be reevaluated. Devamı

This particular room was very small and no view, but it was just a place to hang our hat (luggage) till are "red eye" departed. Also had a room on 18th floor the was terriffic.

Good location to the beach and shops,

I was extremely satisfied with this hotel. Pool/Beach towels are provided. The pool area had nice Hawaiian music and a great view of Waikiki. The room was simple but clean. The lobby was beautiful and a nice place to have your morning coffee.

Quite laughable really. I never write reviews, but had to in this case. Maybe the other hotels in honolulu are all REALLY old and REALLY cheesy, but this one certainly is. We stayed at the Ritz in Maui (5 stars) and the Fairmont Orchid on the Big Island (4 starts), and they where amazing. Everything was top notch. This place doesnt have any of those […] little or big touches, really its just a holiday inn with the marriott name on it so they call it a 4 star. So thats my review. Overall i would say to avoid honolulu altogether, was the least impressive island by faaaaaaaar. Devamı

Excellent hotel, would recommend and stay again. Parking rate seemed excessive, however hotel next door was a third of the price (so guess where we parked!). Terrace bar had happy hour as well as cocktail of the day offers. Rooms are clean and service is very good.

Was pleased with our booking, the hotel is expensive but most are in Waikiki. The bed, surprisingly, was uncomfotable but we couldn't fault the rest of the room/hotel.

We had a great time staying at the Marriot. They gave us a free upgrade at the checkin counter. The poolside bar is a fun place to hang out and meet new people and of course get drunk!

Parking is very limited. You'll have to pay a premium for parking and the front desk doesn't tell you right away you can get it reimbursed. They will ask you for a receipt from the machine in the parking lot to reimburse you, but the machine was out of paper and didn't print us a receipt so we were out of luck! If you get there past 7pm you may not […] even have a place to park. The parking structure is really small. My guest and I got up early in the morning to get a head start on activities, but because there were only two small elevators near our room we had to wait several times for other hotel guests. The elevators were always packed. We decided to use the stiars, but the levels on the inner doors to the stairwells aren't marked so you could easily lose track of what floor you are on. Not a good thing if there was a fire or some sort of emergency and the exits weren't clearly marked. My guest and I decided to use the pool to relax after having to deal with what I already mentioned, but that was disappointing as well. While at the pool a child took a dump right on the pool deck and there was no attendant around the pool area to clean the mess. The parent should have called someone right away (I think he was in shock it happened). My companion told a hotel employee so the mess could be taken care of. Overall, we had a horrible stay. Devamı

Perfect location, great accommodation of an early check-in request, wonderful staff, balconies with a lounger and 2 chairs, very nice rooms and a phenominal view of Waikiki. We'd definitely choose this hotel again!

We loved it. We have a 17 month old and the room was perfect. Couldnt beat location walk across the street to the ocean... very calm area. They even upgraded us to a great room for very little extra!

Stayed 8 days, well kept hotel, right across the beach, so close you could hear the waves of the ocean. close to all the action and places to eat all around and walking distance. I would stay again. We were upgrade to a ocean view. room was large, we had 2 double beds, 4 in room, 2 adults and 2 teens and it worked out well. Freg in room, no microwave, […] you will have to request and it will cost you $16 a aday to rent, internet cost you as well and so will parking, not cheap. Resturant not so good, we had breakfast buffet, not good and expensive, not worth it, with so many other options available to you. will stay again Devamı

This was my second stay at this hotel and I have to say my last trip was a better experience. This time our room was not as nice - there was some sort of loud squeaking in the walls that went on all day and night that sounded like a pipe or something. It made it difficult to sleep without earplugs. Also, we seemed to be last on the list for housekeeping […] so they can each day between 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. when we were back in our room which was very inconvenient. We also had a random fire drill in the middle of the night which was never explained to us - a message came over the speaker system to announce a fire in the building but the hotel did not follow up to let us know that it was a false alarm so people were wandering around the building in their p.j.'s for about 30 minutes. Great location, excellent amenities.

It's on the beach and close to shopping. The concierge staff were very helpful in arranging local tours and excursions. The price was also good. The food at Sensei located in the hotel is also excellent.

Great experience. They gave me an amazing upgrade. my view was amazing!!!

The hotel was nice, but could withstand some renovation. The carpet near the elevators was not clean and other areas need updating. The breakfast buffet was delicious, but expensive. Our room was very clean and comfortable. If you are taking a cruise on the NCL, there is an NCL desk in the lobby for information, but the hotel is quite a distance from […] the port. I wish I could give an even higher rating for the comfort of the room and bed! I had a great view thanks to the room selection by the front desk staff. I couldn't find fault with the location or the facility or the staff if I tried. I have already bragged to my friends and family via Facebook during my stay!

Rooms were very small, dated, loud/busy city, not worth price

After many flight mishaps, we booked a room on the way to our cruise and made our way to the Marriott which helped to right our trip (bad pun). The hotel was great, the staff very helpful and the location perfect. Thanks for turning our frowns right side up.

The cleanliness and location of this hotel was fabulous! My family upgraded to a corner suite unit that had a double balcony. The size of the room and views of the ocean and beach were amazing! I'd definitely upgrade again upon my next visit.

The hotel desk clerk was the most helpful check-in person I've ever had! We had an awful night stay our first two nights in another hotel and the hotel clerk found us a nice quiet room, at a great price, and even let us check into the room early.

general appearance of hotel was great. The neighborhood was very noisy. Sirens all night and even on the 32nd floor we could hear fights in the streets in the middle of the night. Jacuzzi did not work the entire 3 days we were there - very disappointing

The facility is very nice and well kept. The help was always available and we experienced zero delays in any of our requests.
