Rodeway Inn & Suites - Alameda

this stay was certainly better than last time

This hotel was very disappointing the online perception was misleading and I will never stay there again.

Unfortunately it rained heavily and the main drain in the parking lot was blocked up and they had a pump running all night. Friendly enough. I left my telephone charger behind in the room and it wasn't handed in. I don't like that. Room clean. TV simple to use. That's a plus.

This place was not at all what i expected. I will never stay at this dirty, smelly, loud, noisy and unfriendly place again. Please don't stay here. Pay the extra money and find your self a better hotel.

When I pulled up, I thought I was in the wrong place. The neighborhood seemed run down along with the hotel. The room stained blankets, Sained carpets that were starting to come apart and the towels were paper thin and did not appear to have seen bleech in a while. The only good things were that the Wireless Internet was good and, several fast food […] places and a pharmacy within a block of the place. Middle of the night police were called because of an incident in the parking lot with a woman screaming she was being attacked. Out dated room, thin walls, and horrible nights sleep.

In this instance, the price was good and the staff was nice. But the heater made a noise and there was a lady who worked in the world's oldest profession in the room next to mine and I heard her (or maybe her "guest") banging on the wall several times. I feel that, as a rule, when you check into a hotel that has lots of empty rooms (as this one did) […] it would make sense for them to give you a room that has empty rooms on either side to minimize the noise. Rodeway Inn Alameda, CA My reservation sheet as issued by the booking agent did not have the phone number of the motel. The current phone book did not have a listing for this motel. Another Rodeway motel less than 5 miles away told me they did not have a phone number for this motel.. After 20-30 minutes on the internet finally found a number. When […] called, the person answering had such a foreign accent I could not understand him. Otherwise, the location of this motel is great. It is in Alameda, streets were full of walkers at 10PM very safe neighborhood. Price was reasonable, accommodations very nice for the money. the fornt desk personnel was really bad in PR,no phone in rooms to get in touch w/ front desk.

This hotel is in desperate need of a complete overhaul! The few dollars I saved didn't make up for the grease and filth stained floors, dirty walls and surfaces. The fridge was moldy and the bathroom (including) the shower was littered with pubic hair. In all fairness, the neighborhood is better than what you find in nearby Oakland. If this is ALL that […] you can afford then bring a bottle of rubbing alcohol, a few rags, and socks to wear around that you don't mind ruining. While not the fanciest of hotels, Rodeway Inn & Suites was perfect for my needs. I was only in my room to sleep so I was looking for an inexpensive stay. I will stay there again if I'm ever in the area, the rate was the best I could find and the room was comfortable, clean and convenient.

I would never book another stay at this Rodeway again. I would sleep in my car first.

I had to check out of the room at 1am due to one leg that itched and had huge bites up and down one side. It happen after I showered and crewled into the bed. Bed Bugs? Ticks? Flees? I have no ideal - all I know is it is now 2 days later and my leg is scabby and itchy with large bites from something in that room. BEWARE!

Hotel reception was unfriendly. Hotelroom looked shabby, not at all like the pictures on the internet. Bathtub was blocked on the second day; mentioned this at the desk, but no change. Hotel visitors were very loud; screamiing and calling in the night. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The stench in the room took whole lot of air freshener to aleviate odor and not the ideal place to stay if wanting to commute to and from the city /castro... very disappointed

For the price you can't really go wrong. Clean beg and adquately supplied bathroom. Cable TV included.

this hotel provided me with great service

I travel ALOT, have stayed in 5 star hotels from Sydney Au, to B&B's in San Tropez Fr. While this is not a 5 star property, it is clean, friendly, well located (for my needs), quiet, and I felt safe. Pool was clean (weather was too clod for using it, but it was clean!), room was large, included ironing board/iron, refer, micro, toiletries, coffee pot. […] Only criticism: towels were paper thin. Although I only stayed overnight the room was clean. In good condition. There are many places to eat within walking distance. Good value. Very decent rates.

Korthuggen oinspirerad oengagerad personal. Dålig frukost på dåliga tider 6-9 i alldeles för litet rum. I stortsett omöjligt att bada i polen eftersom den bara är öppen 11-17 och då är man ju inne i Frisco. Dålig täckning och kapacitet på Wi-Fi (viktigt i USA eftersom mobildata är dyrt).
