I stay in this hotel whenever I visit Pasadena because of proximity of my business place. But it's not that simple reason. This hotel is inexpensive, and clean and comfortable relative to the cost. Hotel service does not bother guests and mostly kind.

Only complaint would be that the outside noise was very audible. Woke me up mutiple times.

We were visiting family in Pasadena and stayed here. Not a luxury hotel but much better than your average "one night stay" motel. The breakfast was very good, not just pastries--waffles, bagels, hard boiled eggs, cereal/oatmeal, gourmet coffee and juice. The room was quiet and comfortable, great HD tv and free wireless internet.

The motel was very clean with updated rooms and friendly staff. Not much to see in the neighborhood and you always need a car in LA.

We stayed for one night. We had a room with a connecting door. With noisy guests next door. The Shower and bed were great. We didn't get chance to try the breakfast but it is on a par with places like the Comfort Inns. Fresh fruit, bagels, coffee etc.

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel given the room rate in this high-rent neighborhood. Our only problem with the room was the AC which was very loud and kept going on and off throughout the night, waking us up periodically. The second night we decided to forgo the AC and open the windows. This was much more pleasant except for the blasting car […] radio of another guest who returned to the hotel at about 2 am. Devamı

The renovated room was well appointed and attractive. The cooling system provided white noise, so we slept well.

Enjoyed very much having three pillows in my bed. That is what I use to sleep on. Thanks, i j

Dave at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was yummy, the waffles had a very nice fruit topping of strawberries and currants. The room was clean and nicely furnished. The location is on a commercial street and backs up to a residential neighborhood. It is located very close to downtown Pasadena, and is on the Rose Parade route. This hotel looked great on the outside but the room we had was dingy and gross. My wife, our seven week old son, and I stayed here so we could be on time to family event. The elevator was small, slow, and smelled unpleasant; the hallways were dimly lit in spots and could stand a power wash. The sheet had stains on it and the room had a persistent smell […] that never went away. The cleanest spot in the room was the bathroom which had great fixtures. To bad the rest was unpleasant. The Vagabond is well positioned and reasonably priced. We thought it was fine for our visit. We had one glitch - which was the Wireless connection in the room was lost - the hotel finally offered a hardwire connection for the rest of our stay. We would go there again.

We flew into LA stayed overnight at the Vagabond and Pasadena then moved North up the coast worked out well.

very clean, well appointed room. amazing value

the staff was very outgoing and helpful. Would recommend. Room nothing extravagant but the basics were there.
