Novotel Bordeaux Centre Meriadeck - Bordo

Very disappointed with our recent stay at Novotel Bordeaux Meriadeck. The building work that is going on in the adjacent building and woke us up at 8.45 on the Monday morning really needs to be bought to the attention of people looking to stay here. The hammer drill was particularly annoying. We asked to move rooms which we did but we could still hear […] the noise from the back of the hotel. The rooms could do with a thorough clean the carpet in the second room was filthly and the decor very dated and the mini bar prices - 3.00 euro for a small bottle of water - incredible!I would not consider staying here again. The hotel is about 10 walk from sentrum. the price was nice and allower good. would stay there again.

Nicely situated near the Cathedral and Hotel de Ville. Conveniently located very close to a tram-stop making it easy to get to other parts of Bordeaux. Traveling with my parents, we were comfortable in one room with a good fold-down sofa-bed.

Reviews were spot on. I was in Bordeaux on business and reviews suggested a good location, no-frills business hotel. And that it was. Staff was friendly, spoke English, room was clean, bed was good. Location is walking distance to historic Bordeaux, so was able to venture out after business day. Plenty of resturants near-by. Breakfast was typical fare. […] No workout facilities, but hotel was right above a small fitness center. A solid 3-star business hotel. Now if you are looking for a swanky, higher end hotel, might check the Regent Grand Hotel, but triple the price. Devamı

This hotel gives very good value considering the excellent location for strolling into Bordeaux centre.

This is our fourth stay as we drive to and from the Algarve and the staff this time excelled themselves in as much as we had broken our Sat Nav and the staff were only too willing to help us by printing us off a detailed map to get us back to Calais and for that we give them a big thanks. The restaurant for dinner and breakfast were first class as again […] were the staff. The room was very comfortable and clean as has been the case on all our stays. Devamı

Location is decent being only a 10-15 mins walk to reach the river. I recommend getting the bus/tram pass fro a day or a week depending on how long you are staying. We enjoyed just hopping on or off bus/trams whenever you want to get around. Hotel was fairly new or had been renovated recently. Clean enough and maintained. Only complaint was that 1 […] day the cleaner was still working on our room at 530pm. We basically had to hide out in the lobby for about an hour. Internet is free and included in the price we paid. only went out for half a day on a Sunday. They push the breakfast but the Auchan Supermarche is 5 min walk through the park out the back side of the hotel. It's the anchor tenant of a big mall and we prefer to pick up some basics instead. Closed Sundays. extra charge at the end of for City tax. not sure it was valid since the clerk seemed like they didn't know what they were doing but wasn't so much assuming it was over 5 nights to really bother arguing but still odd since usually, hotels.com covers everything. Good points: the hotel and the room were clean, modern and what we expected. It was a nice walk to the town centre (excellent architecture to admire), the (public, adjacent to the hotel) car park was safe. Room for improvement: the reception staff were efficient and polite but could have been friendlier. There was no human touch (and the same was true […] of our stay a week later at the Novotel Rouen). Good hotel which is let down by smelly drains, tired decor and restrictive wifi. Wifi didn't allow skype useage which was a bit off putting for a future stay. This hotel didn't live up to Novotel standards that I've experienced in the past. The breakfast which was included went down very well. A great range of foods (continental) with some eggs, bacon […] and sausage available. Staff overal were very friendly and efficient. We're not impressed generally with the Bordeaux tourist tax (about €1.45 per person)upon departure when checking out. :-( Devamı

The hotel is clean and comfortable, but we were horrified to find that we could use neither Skype or Google voice. The desk staff responded evasively (it useed to work here, no there is nothing you can do to make it work now) and told us to call technical support. Technical support told us that the hotel blocked voice services. Our additional cell phonee […] charges increased the cost of the hotel by over 50%. Shame on them! Also, name suggests it is reall in the center of town. It is not. Devamı

the blonde short haired receptionist was incredibly rude and more interested in her dinner and the internet in the back room than providing us with the welcome taht would/should be expected.

L'hotel est très bien situé, mais il y a de nombreux travaux tout autour ce qui est très bruyant en journée. D'autre part, nous avions réservé une chambre supérieure, ce qui ne sert à rien vu que toutes les chambres ont la même taille. Ce qui est donc assez décevant en ce qui concerne l'espace disponible dans les chambres pour une famille de 4 personnes. Le […] service de l'hotel est un peu décevant lui aussi car la chambre n'a été faite qu'en fin d'après-midi et de manièr très succinte (draps justes tirés, pas toutes les poubelles vidées). Devamı

Bra hotell på gångavstånd till Bordeaux centrum. Rent, modernt och snyggt.

Durante nuestra estancia tuve dos experiencias, una muy mala y otra muy buena. Cuando sali del hotel y llegue a la ciudad de Tours me di cuenta que habia dejado unas camisas y me urgia recuperarlas lo mas pronto posible, asi que hable a su hotel y ahi empezo mi mala experiencia, respuesta telefonica de la recepcion que tomaba varios minutos en contestar […] y cuando finalmente contestaban y les hablaba en ingles, la persona fingia no entender me decia que me iba a comunicar con otra que hablaba ingles y me colgaba, Esta accion se repitio varias veces y ademas, la persona en la recepcion sabiendo que era yo quien llamaba tardaba mas tiempo en contestar para despues colgar. Afortunadamente mi esposa habla frances y a ella si le contesto bien y la comunico con una persona que habla español, quien de inmediato se avoco a resolver el problema y ella personalmente fue a revisar el cuarto, confirmando que si estaba la ropoa y que la iba a enviar ál día siguiente por correo express a mi hotel en Tours, llegando la ropa justo a tiempopara mi compromiso. Si bien le llamamos para informarle del arribo del paquete, desafortunadamente nunca supimos su nombre, pero fue la chica que habla español y que estaba el día Jueves 16 de Junio por la tarde/noche. Petit déjeuner correct, sans plus. Absence de parking, contrairement aux infos sur l'hotel. Pour le reste, c'est conforme à ce que l'on attend d'un hotel 3 étoiles en France.

Having stayed in the Novotel several times, I can now say that I'm fairly familiar with it. Clean and quiet with the modernised rooms it covers all the basics, but there is no luxury or comfort to be found here. Also, the service, as the case so often is in France, leaves a lot of room for improvement.

Excellente situation géographique. Hotel sans chichi très accueillant pour les familles. Tarifs internet attractifs malgré la saison et la localisation.

hotel très bien placé et agréable. Problème pour trouver un place pour la voiture surtout si vous êtes équipés d'un coffre de toit. Hotel situé à 10 Min à pied de la cathédrale

Proche du centre ville à pied. Propreté de la chambre laissant un peu à désirer (cheveux et poussieres dans la salle de bain, une serviette tachée). Très bonne qualité globale cependant. Acces Wifi partout et poste internet gratuit dans le hall d'accueil

Très bien situé, à moins de 5 minutes du centre à pieds (et sinon le tram passe devant) - Calme, petit déjeuner abondant, 1 cadeau offert aux enfants, bref, à recommander

Situé au coeur de Bordeaux, à deux pas de l'hôtel de ville, le Novotel Centre Meriadeck est un hôtel accueillant. Une chambre spacieuse, une salle de bain moderne, vous passerez un séjour reposant. Un petit-déjeuner complet est disponible dans la salle à côté de l'entrée.
