Great hotel in a perfect location for NSF visit. The only drawback wireless in the room is $15 or so a day.

Overall the stay was very nice however when I get my charges, I am aware of them. However when I check my bank statement I see one more charge. I wish that was explained so I would be aware of the cause! Other than that the location was quite convenient for restaurants.

I wish we had refrigerator and microwave in room.

Right next to Ballston Metro station. 1 block from National Science Foundation. Room was clean and comfortable. Only negative comment is that service at the hotel restaurant wasn't the greatest. There is a charge for internet access in the rooms, it is only free in the lobby.

I chose this hotel for convenience to DC and the metro station. The metro station is literally right outside the hotel entrance. It was great to be able to hop on the metro and go into DC for a reasonable all day price. The low rating on maintenance was because the plumbing in our shower did not work properly. Water pooled up in the tub while showering. […] Maintenance was called to fix it, but it was not fixed and the bathroom was left unclean. We asked for a new room and were comped breakfast the next morning. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Overall, a great hotel. Devamı

The room was in great shape! Even though I had reservations, it took the front desk a while to 'find' me a room. The room I got had a view of the roof and all the heat/ac stuff. In other words, no view whatsoever. Not a big problem, but you wouldn't open the curtains. The bathroom was so tiny that it was hard to fit even just one person. Great location in a quiet neighborhood, near to lots of stores and restaurants, and most importantly very near to Ballston Metro, plus feeder buses. Love it!

Excellent on customer service and friendliness. Hotel is clean, comfy and well located. I will stay again.

The location is very close to NSF or ONR. Room is clean and with good size. Many decent restaurants nearby.

Great location and convenience. Well maintained and a good value for your DC area trip. Right at the Metro and shops so easy to get anywhere you want to go.

okay hotel, but a little rundown. a little aged carpets and bed covers. very convenient with the subway directly below the hotel.

We had reservations for 3 nights over the New Year Weekend. We called ahead to let the desk know we would be arriving late (after midnight) and they were wonderful about it. I asked if there was a refrigerator in the room, and they said no, but could provide one if needed. Service was friendly and efficient. The hotel lobby and room were very nicely finished and furnished. The bathroom was very large and well-light, and the room itself was very spacious. My only complaint is in regards to the heating and cooling system. It is a relatively old unit and quite noisy, in both heating and cooling mode. I kept it off both nights. My family and I (3 total) reserved a room on 11/25/11-11/27/11. It was a last minute decision to visit family in the DC area for Thanksgiving holiday so we tried to find a hotel nearby. The Hilton was perfect for catching the metro to the Pentagon City Mall!! So cool to step out of your hotel right on the metro that literally takes you right into the […] Mall!! Great shopping I must say!! Highlight of my stay besides spending time with family and friends. Well unfortunately the room wasn't the greatest. The toliet hardly flushed, the sink stopped up when you ran water to brush your teeth, and the walls are very thin so you could hear the family in the other room. They replaced half of the towels so when I went to shower I had no wash cloth. I used a hand towel and let my daughter and husband have the wash cloths. Oh and I also had to dry off with a hand towel. It was 1am and I was already tired so I just dealt with it. Had to be up by 4am to travel back home. Besides, when you look at it all I am Blessed. I had a place to stay, food to eat, and warmth but its hard earn money we spent so I needed to express my dissatisfaction. Devamı

Yes. I was very happy with my stay here. Stayed over Thanksgiving holiday. Staff was very helpful and attentive, not just one person or at one time but everyone and throughout my stay. The amount was less than I expected to pay. Location is excellent - Ballston station is on the same corner. Plenty of shopping and eating nearby. I booked this hotel because of the price and location. It isn't a 5 star but a moderate 3.5/4 stars. I stayed in room 442 it was new. Soft beds, clean, small bathroom. My view was of the street area facing Ballston Mall. Parking was $18 a day which it is adjacent to hotel through elevator. The mall is connected via walkways which was also nice. Starbucks […] right there also. Location had lots of places to eat within walking distance and hop skip and jump from DC. Metro right out the door. I would stay there again for same price. Devamı

The truth is that I expected a Hilton hotel to be nicer.. it was nice tough don't get me wrong. Room was kind of small (comparing to other hotels I have stayed) Didn't like: (about the TV) - tv channels had a lot of interference. - renting a movie on the tv was 17$ - no dvd player (room) - the room had one of those door that goes to the next room (I […] like privacy) (bathroom) - tough it would be nicer (parking) - 17$ 24 hours (and you have t pay every time you go out and in) in general is a nice hotel, clean, excellent location (the metro is right there), but I would have expected something nicer from a Hilton Devamı

Great location, close to metro. Easy to find and easy access to highways. Staff at front desk were very helpful with everything we asked of them.

I stayed at the Hilton Arlington for two nights while I had meetings at the National Science Foundation. This hotel has less business now that the Westin has opened a couple of blocks away, which is surprising considering how nice my experience was. The basics for business travel first: clean room, comfortable bed, closet fully stocked with iron and […] ironing board and good wooden hangers, and you have to pay for WiFi in the room (but they will comp you if you spend a certain amount in the restaurant). The staff was absolutely superb, polite, helpful, and provided great help with restaurants and taxis. The hotel restaurant is excellent and pretty reasonably priced considering the location. I had dinner in the bar one night and the bartender was one of the friendliest I have experienced in a hotel bar in quite some time. The food was excellent and the portions were good sized. I also indulged in the continental breakfast, which was also top notch. The coffee was excellent, not too strong or acidic, and they actually had ketchup out for my eggs instead of my having to ask for it. The hotel entrance is about 100 feet from the Balston Metro and there are ample cabs at all hours. There are also a ton of food options in the area, and the hotel provides a restaurant guide when you check-in. There is a great cigar shop about a block away. My only complaint was the expensive wireless internet in-room. Free WiFi in the lobby, and in-room WiFi is free if you spend more than $20 in the restaurant. If you have business in the Arlington or DC area, I highly recommend the Hilton Arlington. Devamı

This hotel was in a fantastic location across the street from the Ballston Metro, Ballston Commons, a small city park, and many fantastic restaurants. The hotel was clean, the room was comfortable and the service was great.

Great location right at the Metro Station. Room was large - nice if you are staying a long time. Two dressers with seven drawers total and three shelves. Nice size closet, plush robes and nice furnishings. Hotel staff was very responsive and professional - they really went out of their way to be helpful. The pillows stunk! At first glance you think you are in luxury but then....Although the mattress was good the pillows were awful. I actually used rolled towels to support the pillows. I was also ugged out by the hanging in the bathroom whose frame was peeling. I really measure alot by that kind of maintenance.

The staff was wonderful and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The metro was right next door which made it so easy to get to where we were going! Considering the location, the price was right too!

Everything was great. You need a pool, though

I had a wonderful stay at the Hilton Arlington - was in town for a wedding at which I was best man, and this hotel offered nothing less than the best for this best man. My room was located on the exclusive 7th floor, which provides luxurious accommodations suited for those who wish to be removed from much of the nonsense you would expect of folks who […] seek lodging elsewhere. Aside from a gentle rolling sound which I assume was made by the elevator (my room was close to the elevator concourse) and a 3-5 day buildup of dust on the beautiful LCD television (which I promptly dusted, along with the bedside lampshade - no problem, future visitors!), the room was immaculate. The environment provided wonderful working conditions, and I pulled together a fantastic best man speech before taking my rest on the soft bed with a perfect nest of freshly fluffed pillows to help ease my transition to dreamland. Of course, my dreams were riddled with the typical anxieties of a best man whose credibility and reputation hinge upon subtle inflections of voice in the whirlwind speech I was to deliver the next day. But I straight-up nailed that speech, and I truly credit the solitude provided by the exclusive 7th floor for making my speech so memorable to myself and the wedding attendees. I was comfortable enough to develop some extraordinary thoughts in that room, to take my rest peacefully, and to wake in the morning ready and able to steal the show at the wedding the next day! Both bridesmaids who visited my room after the wedding complemented its decor and creature comforts, including the soft bed and wireless internet access. One of them seemed particularly taken by the street scenes and the fleeting shadows cast upon the ceiling by activities occurring below. This was one of the best nights I have ever spent in a hotel - I have stayed at many reputable establishments throughout the northeastern and midwestern U.S., as well as in Eastern Europe and Cancun, but my experience at the Hil Devamı

I was waiting for a room tp be ready. When I check to see if my room was ready, the desk clerk never bother to check my name and said all room were not ready. We waitied a few minutes. Then I spoke to another clerk who did check my status and said it had been ready for an hour. When I mentioned that the other clerk should have looked that information […] up, the other clerk did hear but ignored and made no appologies. I was told it must have been some kind of miscommunication. It was my wedding day and I needed to get into my room to get ready and I was kept waitng needlessly. Devamı

The Hilton has issues with its a/c. The first room I checked into would not cool down. I woke at 2:30am sweating and couldn't get baclk to sleep. My meetings that day were painful. The maintenance engineer came up the next afternoon and 'fixed' it - but later in the day it resumed blowing warm air (with the thermostat set at 66). They did move me to […] another room that afternoon - the hotel staff was very apologetic and tried hard to help. The good news: the a/c in the second room worked great! The bad news: whenever the a/c went off, it woke me up with a loud metallic thud each time - all night. I was so exhausted after two nights in this hotel I could hardly function the rest of the week. Not good for a business trip. The best thing about this Hilton is its location - right next to the Ballston Metro station. Might be better in the winter. Devamı
