Clean , comfortable , well located

Indoor pool was nice. Food/drinks were good, reasonably priced. Friendly staff. Hotel is a little off the beaten path with nothing within walking distance..but that makes it quiet. I was disappointed that wifi is not free, I elected not to pay for it.

Great location, excellent service,comfortable bed and clean room although we stay in a small room (1 king bed) with 2 children, tasty breakfast. Great hotel for the value, we will be back!

Everything was great. The hotel was beautifully modern, clean, and the service was great! Only thing that would have made it better was free wi-fi in the room but it was free in the lobby.

This hotel is a great place to stay in the D.C. area because of its location, as well as the amenities offered. The location is convenient to the Virginia suburbs, access to the beltway and D.C. itself. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed and clean. Be sure to include a trip to the breakfast buffet in the morning.

The hotel is conveniently located around 10 miles from the must see locations of Washington DC (National Mall, Union Capitol etc.) Nice and comfortable hotel. Lot of places in teh vicinity of 3-4 miles if you want to eat outside.

As two women traveling alone, we felt safe and secure in your hotel setting. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

This hotel has it all! The front desk staff are very quick and friendly. They tell you their name and to ask for them if you have questions. Although their business center was under constrution, they still try to accomodate you. The room service was great too! And oh my gosh the king bed was so heavenly!!!

The staff was phenomenal. Very friendly and helpful. Food was great and the building was immaculate. Even the areas that had construction was clean. Keep up the great service.

The staff was very friendly, the pool was warm and everything was very clean! I thought the breakfast price was a bit steep, but it was delicious food.

This hotel is very nice looking. It's above average. But! With drains making noise ( glup) and the ac not working efficiently it takes away from the nice hotel experience ...

I have to say that we were impressed that the staff took our boys down to the pool in the staff elevator beause they were in the process doing renovations, they escorted us to the room floor just to make sure they boys were not too cold. Also everytime that they seen us they asked ALL of us if we had enjoyed our stay. It was also a great bonus to bowls […] of fresh apples available around the hotel as snacks for all to enjoy. Hotel were clean and staff were helpfull. There was no free wlan in rooms. Huge minus. It was easy get to a cetral city Washington. Metro lines were clear.

we really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The rooms are very clean and the staffs on the reception desk were helpful and efficient, the breakfast fast was delicious, the gym, the sauna, the hot tub, the pool are excellent.

We found this to be a great place for a weekend stay. I would reccommend bboking the breakfast included with the room rate. It was a great food for the price. Overall excellent property.

We enjoyed our stay at the Fairview Park Marriott. The hotel is very conveniently located right off of I-495 and also not far from varoius restaurants and shopping areas. We have relatives in the area and would definitely stay there again when visiting them.

Overall a nice stay. Courteous staff, did allow late checkout. Nice lobby with plenty of room to greet friends and family. Housekeeping can do better. Room not cleaned one of the days. But it was around the new years, so probably shortage of staff; understandable. Plenty of lady bugs in the room (near the window). Did not bother us, but someone should […] take care of that. Very nice property just inside the DC beltway. Hotels.com had a great weekend deal, which made the decision a no-brainer to book this Marriott as I've stayed here before for about double the price. Staff at check-in was prompt, courteous, and professional. Room was clean and comfortable (in line with other Marriott properties), however my only possible […] complaint of the stay was the ventilation system seemed a bit "off" as the air seemed a bit dusty and woke up coughing a couple times during the night. Other than that a great hotel close to DC (about 10-15 minutes on weekend on Arlington Blvd into the District), but in a suburban park like setting. This is a beautiful facility with everything you could need in a hotel and an outstanding staff to compliment it. The food is gourmet quality. Location is easy to find, and the rooms were impeccable. The hotel is very clean and comfortable but when we arrived in our room it was cold. It would have been better if the heat was on. Also at check out, the girl who checked us out was not friendly at all. I would recommend the hotel to friends but the hotel need to have friendly staff.

-Nov.24th reported burning smell -Told there was a fire on our floor -We were able to change rooms -New room was not as nice -We reported this room as being very warm -Engineering fixed the problem the following morning -We chose Marriot to ensure a high standard -Our Thanksgiving Trip to this hotel did not meet our expectations

By far, one of the best hotels I've had the opportunity to stay at... Staff was perfect!

I specificaly booked this hotel for our family because it had a hot tub for myself and our 11 year old son he had a tournament the next day and we had a 3 hr driive to get here so we wouldnt have the drive the morning of. Well we were getting in the hot tub and a guy said sorry son you hve to be 18 no where did it state this when I viewed the information […] online so this was a huge disapointment to out family. thats all we wanted to do before retiring for the night. Close to DC but hard to tell, we came in via the south and the road had heavy construction with roads going everywhich way. However when we took Route 50 into DC it was a breeze. Overall the hotel was great and pleasing to the eye. The view was spectacular, just don't look straight down, you will see a barren roof top . . . unless you like looking at […] roofs and their ultilities. Close to a Metro station, great service. Room service was prompt even with an event going on at the hotel. A great experience overall.

I loved everything about this hotel. We had a great stay, the location was great because it was close to Annandale where there are a lot of great Asian restaurants. The only thing that wasn't too fantastic was the setting view but that's only because there's not really much in the immediate area.
