Holiday Inn Express Oceanside - Oceanside

Very good. I like it.

Eeeeew please invest in new coffee makers in rooms they were very dirty! But other than that the stay was ok. Another thing was the refrigerator did not work we bought ice cream and it melted the toilet got clogged & we only spent one night Ive stayed at other holiday inn express & they were in better conditions!!

The room looked clean but smelly when we moved to room 108. The beds were comfortable but the bathroom bath tub was stuck with water when taking the bath. We called and let the front desk know the problem and she promised to have it fixed while we had gone for a day. However, the sink was full of water and flood when upstair using bath room water system. […] Water was flood over the floor and closet, so our luggages got wet. We're so frustrated when the promission wasn't taking care of. Devamı

Holiday Inn was convenient for three generations to share.

The hotel was good close to the shopping center only negative not enough parking space .

Hotel staff was pleasant and prompt. We were staying at the Holiday Inn Express because our home was being fumigated and when I called to ask if it was possible for an early check-in the day of our reservation the staff had a room ready for my family in under an hour. Complimentary breakfast was outstanding- they had everything from eggs, pancakes, […] and sausage to baked goods, cold cereal and a variety of hot and cold beverages. I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to the North San Diego County area. Great central location for a reasonable price. Devamı

Showers do not have proper non skid surfaces. I fell and brused my hip, when i reported it to the manager,There was no paper work to make out to report the incident. The manager said she would check the room after we check out

Although the Holiday Inn Express in oceanside is well located close to I-5 and shoppping centers with a variety of restaurants, etc, it is also close to the large Marine base at Camp Pendleton, not always a good thing. The first room we were given smelled like a Marine training battalion had marched through barefoot. In the small check-in lobby a scruffy […] individual wigth a backpack who looked to be homeless was slouiched in a chair monopolizing the hotels's only computer, in front of the desk clerk, who appeared about 14 years old. Perhaps most toubling, the door from the parking lot to the hotel rooms was key locked, with a sign "Please Keep Door Closed". Nonetheless, we found it propped open three times shortly after I had shut it. Some young men who appeared to be Marines were coming and going, most apparently not checked in. On the positive side, the second room we were given, on the second floor, was clean and neat.; there were no disturbances and night;, and the breakfast was ample and good. Devamı

This was my first time at this motel. I stayed on a Saturday night. When I went to breakfast Sunday morning the place was packed and the food was nearly gone. The wait staff could not keep up with the food and drink demands, even what I would call the simplest of items - bread, milk, tea bags, hot chocolate packages. We enjoyed this hotel. The first room they put us in was a little stinky so we asked to be moved and they were very accomodating. Yummy cookies in the lobby and good breakfast in the morning. It is very centrally located. We will stay here again for sure.

This hotel meets all the basics-but isn't for those that stay in their room much. The pool is miniscule and again-basic. The breakfasts are pretty good. Parking is slightly inadequate-hard to find a spot at 11pm on Sat. nite. and the spots are small. The staff was really nice.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. It was quiet and close to the things important to us "The Beach". Front Dest personnel were well informed and one gave excellent recommendations for dinner.

I want to thank the frontdesk girl. She was professional and had a very pleasant smile. She gave me an awesome direction to the beach.

The hotel was clean and the rooms were quite large. We were able to sleep in as the staff didn't make lots of noise in the hall way. It was well located to visit Legoland.

Great stay

The hotel staff were very courteous and helpful, the breakfast was great and the room we stayed in was spacious. We were extremely satisfied with our stay at this particular hotel.

It was one of cleanest and largest rooms we stayed at on our 2 week trip of califorina.. it could use alittle touching up and ungraded tvs but other then that it was nice.

This hotel was clean and the staff very friendly. Breakfast (that was included) was much better than normal continental breakfasts. Not a fancy hotel and the room was a bit humid during the night but was comfortable and clean. The proximity to Legoland is great, only a 5 minute drive and worth it for the price of the hotel room versus the hotels next to the park. I would stay here again.

I was impress with the hotel. Very clean and the lady at the front desk ask as if we wanted 1st floor or second floor which work out great for us because we have 2 little kids that likes to play at lot.

I'm "picture picky" when I choose a hotel. I like to look at pictures of the rooms when I pick a hotel, hoping that they will give me an indication of what I can expect. I was very happy with this hotel. The rooms looked very similar to the photos, the rooms were clean, the price was good and the location was greaet. My only complaint about this hotel is that the curtains don't close! At the crack of dawn, we were awoken to the sun shining directly in our eyes. Very annoying. Everything else was very nice and clean. The front office staff were helpful and friendly.

Only problem was our room was 201 at the top of the entry stairs. A half inch gap at the bottom of the door allowed all the noise from late night arrivals into the room. Some of these people act like they are at a party rather than sleeping quarters late at night. A people problem more than hotel problem.

overall, the hotel was in good condition although parking wasn't enough since it was a long weekend. the towels were washed and replaced everyday which was what I wanted. However, the Wi-Fi had some problems... it keeps logging off. Every time we wanted to use the internet, it takes a long time to wait for it to connect and had to involve a lot of […] phone calls (which they actually didn't know how to deal with). Devamı

My room was under a stair well and on the first floor next to the breakfast room. Needless to say the other guests had a tendency to stomp up and down the stairs. The room had a funky smell, so I opened the window, which helped, but I didn't feel safe having it open while I was sleeping on the first floor. This place is OK to stay at. Nothing out of this world, but not a bad place either. I would stay here again, but I wish the beds were more firm. We stayed on the second floor, and it had no elevator. We had to lug our stuff up a flight of stairs. It was clean, but the carpets were old. Not enough parking for the number of rooms. The place looked dated […] but well maintained. The hotel was clean and the staff were polite however parking at the hotel was horrible. It's a deal breaker. The spaces are very small and there are not enough places to park. People park wherever. We had a compact car and it was hard getting out.

Breakfast is good, the hours are good, the location is great.

Not your 5-star hotel but if you're looking for a practically priced hotel that will give a comfy place to rest overnight, this is your hotel. Close to freeway and establishments (eg. target, denny's, etc.). Stayed here for our trip to Legoland which is miles away.

I was pleasantly surprised with our hotel stay. The value for what I paid was definitely worth it! All the staff members: registration desk, kitchen, and housekeeping were very hospitable. The breakfast was a nice treat with good variety. My children were happy to get up and get breakfast right away. The hotel is definitely older, but seems well maintained […] and was roomy for a family of four. I even had a nice niche to set up my son's portable crib with the ac/fan drowning out some noise. We stayed 3 nights and took our kids to Legoland and my husband and I ran the Camp Pendleton Mudrun over the weekend. We had friends that stayed in other hotels and paid the same price as we did, but their hotels were not nearly as comfortable or clean as ours. The location was near the freeway and had access to many stores and restaurants. We would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone staying in Carlsbad. Devamı

The location was great. It was close to everything we wanted to do. The staff was very nice. The room was really nice. The breakfast was typical, but not stellar (cereal, usual breads, hot items were OK). I think I paid too much for the room, but not much. If we were to go back I would stay there again.

Ok, so we stayed here when we went to Legoland. The location was perfect, with many places to eat surrounding it. I guess the room was nice enough, but the overwhelming smell of carpet cleaner was enough to know you down. The room was immaculately clean, which was a plus. The pull out couch is not really a bed, so don't count on using it for your kids. […] There are roll aways available for extra $$$. The wife and kids liked it fine. I was happy enough, but not blown away. The breakfast was fantastic, and the nightly cookies were a treat. Everything was fine but the smell...I guess that sort of killed it for me. Devamı

We were visiting family in the area and while the hotel wasn't bad, it wasn't great, either. The beds were really uncomfortable (although the bed linens were great), the breakfast was definitely on the disappointing side, and although we registered all four of us, housekeeping provided only 3 towels, consistently. None of these are huges issues, I understand, […] but definitely enough to send us looking elsewhere the next time we stay. In fact, we avoided Holiday Inn Express on our trip home specifically because of the breakfast. While they had SOME choices, the quality was poor. The cereal was honestly the best option and we could have done that in our room using the refrigerator. Devamı
