Executive House Hotel - Victoria

We were generally comfortable and treated well, but our stay was marred by the fact that the toilet was dirty.

I was pleasantly surprised by the Executive House. I booked last minute and many places were full - so my expectations were not high. But the hotel was very centrally located. About the only complaint I […] had was that it's an older building with no AC. The room got a bit warm and night and we had to open the window and use a thoughtfully supplied fan. i feel very much at home at this hotel. staff very friendly and helpful. great location. close to many interesting places . room was very clean and great view.

Good would like a fridge in the room

We had a very comfortable stay and staff were weloming and friendly. We had a self contained one bedroom apartment which worked well for us, nice separate living/lounging space and kitchen adequate for breakfast and snack prep. Location was really good - this is in the heart of the tourist and shopping areas and good restaurants (and Coffee outlets!) […] nearby. The grand Empress Hotel is practically across the road (if you go in the back way via the convention centre) - treat yourself to a cocktail (etc) in the Bengal lounge and high tea (once) in the Empress tea rooms. We enjoyed our stay even though it was as every one calls it 4/20 and there was a fight downstairs outside. that can't be helped either people just don't know how to fun without getting into fights. You may want to think about different pillows.

The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Our first visit to Victoria... Loved the town and can't wait to go back. And I know we'll be making the Executive House our go- to hotel there.

We were thrilled with our one-bedroom suite at the Executive House, as we were travelling with a baby and this allowed us to put her down for the night and still be able to stay in the room without disturbing her. The facilities were perfect -- two sizable rooms (each with a TV), king-size bed, kitchen facilities, furniture, etc. The location is also […] outstanding, right next to the Empress and the Conference Centre. Even room service was fast and reasonably priced. The staff was extremely friendly, too. Can't say enough good things about this place, as it has more than you get from a typical hotel room, but for a better price. Devamı

The hotel is located in a great location close to the harbour and downtown area. The room was clean with a great view toward downtown and the harbour. Rooms on the backside of the hotel would not have as nice a view but would be quieter. There was some street noise after 1:00 a.m from the downtown bars but it was not so bad that you could not fall back […] to sleep. There is a charge for parking at the hotel which is ridiculous of $4.00/ day and in the summer, it might be difficult to to get a spot. Devamı

Very friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyed front sesk staff...great sense of humour, too! Nice room and a very enjoyable stay.

This was an excellent choice for one of our many trips up to Victoria. I was only disappointed that the website did not indicate that the saune and workout rooms were being renovated--I always try to choose a hotel with those amenities. But the staff and room were excellent.

Everything about the hotel was great, however, the spa/exercise amenities mentioned in the ad were closed for renovation. The ad was not correct. The hotel should provide a variety of teas...chamomile for instance. They could also explain better the three choices of restaurants and that Barclay's breakfast is ONLY continental or buffet.

We have stayed here on several occasions. The area can't be better - you can just park your car until the end of you trip and simply walk to shops, the water, restaurants etc. The hotel is clean with friendly, efficient and welcoming staff. The beds and pillows are excellent. The hotel is also pet friendly which is important to us with our two dogs. […] We'll definitely go back! Devamı

Victoria is quieter during the off season and I would recommend for anyone to go. The hotel is wonderful--as is the staff. We often stay there because it is consistently good and clean. My only complaint is that they are a little stingy with towels and the bed could be a little more comfortable, but is better than most. They have protectors on the mattress […] and pillows which I liked because of bedbugs being a problem all over the world now. Devamı

Easy access roads. Ample parking. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. A block away from the harbor. Personel friendly and helpful. View from the hotel very nice. We were on the 11th floor. Condition of the room excellent. Cleaning service excellent. Gym facility can improve, but to their defence there was some minor construction going on at the time. The stay We at this hotel was amazing. The staff were so good to us and we will never ever forget our stay here and plan to come back every year for our anniversary. It was five years since we have been together and lets just say that we put those beds to good use ;) The staff was so kind to us, they placed us in a larger room with a beautiful balcony […] overlooking the city and let us store our bags with them while we were out exploring the city after we checked out. The location was so close to everything downtown we could easily stumble home after a night out of drinking. The hot tub was so good to use for a good soak after a "long night" and the staff made us feel at home and so welcomed. They loved hearing our story and did everything they could to make our reunion the best it could have been...we love you guys and can't wait to visit again. Devamı

This is a block away from the inner harbour, and an easy walk to all areas in downtown Victoria, the only drawback is very tight parking, with a larger vehicle you could not utilize the covered parking, even with a smaller car it is still tight.

A wonderful 2night stay in a beautiful city!!! Walking distance to Victoria's Best Restaurants, spectacular tourist sights. Highly recommended!

We needed to stay at a hotel to be close to the Crystal Garden for a craft fair we wanted to be close. The hotel room was very clean and we got such a good deal on hotels.com. We had a suite overlooking the mountains and part of the city. I almost find it hard to write a recommendation of my secret hotel. The apartment accommodations are extraordinarily comfortable and could not be more convenient to the heart of Victoria and the transit system. I have stayed more often in another hotel just up from the Coho dock, but for the same price at the Executive House I get a full kitchen and […] separate bedroom plus balcony and huge living room. Plus, no mile long hike to city amenities. There is a large convenience store right around the corner and a fun Greek restaurant across the street. Great hotel at a great price. Comfy bed and hidabed. Nicer little kitchen. I'll stay here again when in town.

Very good location, 2 minutes walk to harbour. Room is clean and comfortable. Staffs are helpful.

This is an excellent place to stay. Price is right and the accommodations were great.

Was very pleased with the hotel staff and the great room, the veiw was beautiful and so was the room.

The room was very nice, clean, cosy, and convenient. The one negative was the bed. The mattress was well past it's 'best before date' and did not support a comfortable sleep.

It was convenient & clean enough for me & my husband. We were too shy to ask extra pillows, though. 3 thin pillows were set on a queen-size bed. When we put our head on them, they were totally flat. I don't think our head are that much heavy. Need better pillows!! Otherwise, the hotel room was perfect!!

We enjoyed our stay in a 1 bedroom suite. Nothing was amiss, They reassigned our room when we requested separate beds, we used the hotel spa facilities to do a laundry (access by hotel card), front desk was always attentive. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone-Food at the restaurants was great -cleanliness of rooms beyond expectations-friendly and very helpful staff-It will be the number one place for me to stay at again

My stay at Executive House was pretty enjoyable - the location was great, the front staff was gracious and the rooms were adequate (if not a little cold - no heat or A/C). My problem was with the housekeeping. Two girls, clearly friends, would holler to each other back and forth in the hallway between cleaning rooms, complaining loudly at their disgust […] of the hotel's occupants and their messy rooms.
