Courtyard By Marriott Vanderbilt-West End - Nashville

One concierge was extremely helpful, but the other one was horrible, borderline rude! Very noisy street traffic. I would not go back there.

The Courtyard By Marriott Vanderbilt-West End is in a great location within walking distance of almost anything you could want or need near the Vanderbilt campus. The hotel itself has the look and feel of an older, well used hotel so don't expect new and shiny. It was what we expected for the great rate we got.

Our stay was good, as expected, but what I really appreciated was the way the front desk helped me out. I was surprising my husband for Valentine's Day by getting us a reservation at the hotel across the street from where we would be having dinner. We were in Nashvile to visit a relative in the hospital. Our hotel was located very close by which made it convenient to go back and forth. I wanted to take the bed home with me! It was extremely comfortable. All the staff went out of their way to make us feel at home. I would definitely stay there again.

The front circle driveway is crowded and cars can easily get into a traffic jam. Parking seems to be a problem. The heater/air-conditioning unit in my room was loud. It needs to be updated.

The hotel is older, and is in the condition expected for an economically priced place (clean but towels aren't plush, for example) but I truly got Ritz Carleton service. I recently stayed at a five star resort at another chain, and they could learn customer service from this Courtyard Marriott. Bravo! I will stay here again.

Perfect Nashville location, can't beat it! Front desk personel were friendly and courteous. Not a fan of the room itself. Had a wet smell. No refridgerator or microwave, which is a bit of a disappointment. But considering we were rarely in the room, it was not a huge problem (just could not bring back left overs). Shower was old and Mildew in grout lines. Needs updating. Noise from the street traffic was horrible. Didn't get a good night's rest. Would never stay here again. Go down the street and stay at the Hampton, it's much quieter. Also had to pay $13.00 to park. Should have been included.

We only stayed one night but it was very pleasant and close to a lot of restaurants and sights. It is a very nice hotel and the staff was very nice and helpful.

We have stayed at this Courtyard a number of times when visiting family in Nashville. The location is convenient for us and we always know the room will be clean and our stay hassle free. Great props that they had free valet parking on this visit. Made it even nicer.

Very friendly staff greeted us at desk. The room felt clean-glad there was no germ catching comforter on the bed. 2 problems that were fixed immediately. Since they were totally booked on a Sat night, the check in time on Sunday was late however that was understandable. Breakfast was delicious.

Everything was very good about this hotel except for the windows, which had the stains from built up condensation inside the thermal panes. Other than this, everything was great. Nice, thoughful staff.

During a hard rainstorm with high winds, something landed on my back windshield and broke it into thousands of pieces. After helping me back into a tight parking place in the parking garage, one of the hotel employees got online and helped me to locate a glass replacement company to make arrangements for early the next morning. I have had similar experiences […] during other stays with help locating a phone charger and room accommodations. I appreciate their willingness and can do attitude which seems to be universal with all of the hotels employees---not just the front desk. Devamı

We go for a girl's weekend every year and like to stay in this area. It is close to downtown without being downtown. We love to eat at MidTown Cafe and Noshville--both of which are adjacent to the hotel. Valet parking is secure and service is fast. Our room was delightful and comfortable with all the expected amenities.

The room were overpriced, it was extremely noisy outdoors (we were on 7th floor I believe), and we could hear bar hoppers past 2am as if they were just outside the room. Our tub was clogged as well but someone from maintenance took care of it promptly. Overall it was a decent hotel room aside from the noise, but only if we had paid maybe 30-40% less […] than what we did! Devamı

We stayed at this hotel several years ago and were very satisfied. This time is another story. The hotel seemed very run down. No extra blankets in the room. The ice maker was extremely loud and we were 2 rooms away. We payed for self park and the mail lot was full, they directed us to another lot. The smell when walking into the hotel had reminence of a bathroom. The bedding was weirdly schlepped together. I just didn't feel comfortable there at all. The parking was in a convenient ramp located next store but had an entrance not friendly to lowered cars. So not worth the price, we expected a decent place and did not feel great about paying for […] it. Devamı

I think that it was unnecessary for them to charge $10.00 a day to "self" park . I was on the 3rd floor and had to go to 6 floors before I found a vending machine with a diet drink that worked or was not sold out.

Stayed one night, room was very clean and comfy and close to downtown. Was charged $13 for parking without being informed. Charged $10 for "breakfast" (a muffin). Charged $60 in authorization fees which did not go back into my account for 7 days. Nice hotel, but big ripoff!
