Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Mall of America - Bloomington

Very disappoint and grossed out by the fact that our bedding had blood stains on the sheets. We requested new sheet and they were brought to us. When I checkout and told them about they stains they didn't do anything about it to accomidate me.

Hotel Otis a perfect location for mall of America. Shuttle handy after a long day of shopping. Breakfast included is a great feature. Excellent choices and fresh produce etc. would be nice, to have a couple of restaurants around that area other than I the mall. Getting tired of the same old mall choices. Everything was fine. The only problem was the shuttle driver highly recommended a local pizza place, Fat Lorenzo's, and we ordered from there on his advice. The delivery took forever and the pizza was awful. Other than that, everything was fine.

The hotel is adjacent to the Mall of America. The lobby area is nice but small. Same with the pool and the rooms. The air conditioning and heater in the rooms were a little noisy but not terrible. The room was clean and the beds were good. The continental breakfast had a decent selection but the area is small and gets very crowded. If staying again […] I would try to hit breakfast a little earlier as we tried at 9:15 and it was extremely busy. All said and done it is nice for the price and the convenience of the location. close to Mall of America and helped alot...... had a shuttle but was easy to walk there. If you're going to shop at mall great place.

Hotel personnel were very great. always redy to answer any questions and to help out. Hotel clerk phoned our room after we checked in to see if the room was satisfactory and if we required anything. The hotel shuttle was a great help to get wherever we wanted. Lioght rail train was close to hotel if we wanted to go downtown. However it does its last […] run at 1:16.am.m so if you plan on going to a bar during the week remember that. Hotel is close to Mall of America which is a big plus. Breakfast was goo. It had everything we needed. Unfortunately our stay coincided with the stay of several youth groups. Therefore the next morning the breakfast area was full and we were unable to enjoy the continental Breakfast.

I took my daughter and three of her friends for a spring break shopping trip! We loved being across the street of mall of America! The hotel staff was very accomidating, it was clean, and the free breakfast was just what we needed!

I've stayed at this hotel many times before for our annual "girls" shopping trip, this is the first time with my husband and two boys 5 and 8, they had a blast in the pool and loved the breakfast, the staff is always very polite and accomodating, if we had to complain, only one hot tub was working and the hotel was booked so the one working one was […] always full but what do you expect with a booked hotel, we weren't that upset as we understand that things like that happen. We went for a shopping trip to the MOA and it was a perfect location. The hotel is right next to the Delta return runway and we never heard a plane even though they were right above our heads! The room was very modern and clean. The only thing that wasn't great was the small bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the heater/Ac worked great. The pool […] and hot tub were okay, pretty standard. The employees at the front desk were very accommodating and super nice! The continental breakfast was GREAT! There was so much food to choose from and all of it was fresh and clean. We ate a ton both mornings that we were there. I will definitely stay there every time I go to the MOA :-) Devamı

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. I would recommend it to anyone. The staff was friendly and helpful, and it is a very nice location across the street from the Mall of America. The shuttle service was also great back and forth to the airport. The rooms were clean, and the hotel was quiet even though every room was full.

Nothing special but very clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice. We walked to Mall and walked home at 10pm in January. Wanted something close to the mall and this was perfect. The rooms are a little small and the bathroom is small but both were nice and the beds were great.

This was a great time took my son to see the bears beat the viks. This is a great place to stay 2 blocks away from Mall America.The staff was the best all freindly even th bus driver was funny all down to earth. Thanks my son loved the Hotel.

Nothing fancy here, just a nice clean place within sight of the mall, at a very reasonable price. Arrived early (9am) and was given my reserved room immediately. Friendly staff, nice pool, breakfast every morning, nice clean comfortable hotel. Tip: The light rail (train) stops right at the mall and is only 1/2 a block from the hotel - access to downtown, […] metrodome, msp airport, and runs every 15 - 20 minutes throughout the day. The beds were comfortable, the shower had good water pressure, and the breakfast was decent but this was a very noisy hotel. Walking down the hall you could hear everything happening in each of the rooms, the doors closed with a loud bang, and you are very close to the airport so there is a lot air traffic noise. I would not stay here again.

Marty, the bus driver was awesome. Very friendly and very helpful. One thing that would have been helpful is if we had known you had transporation from the airport. Your hotel was not listed on the board so we took a taxi. $20.00

Went to the Mall and to a Vikings game. There is a shuttle to the Mall, but we walked since it was nice out and a very short walk. Parking for the lightrail was only a couple blocks away (lightrail is a great way to get to the game). Room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. Staff was very helpful when we asked for directions. At the price I paid, it was very reasonable. Excellent service: front desk, dining and shuttle driver. Walking distance to MOA, chk-out 12nn, close to airport and light rail to downtown, filling breakfast, free WIFI and inroom TV is good. OVerall the value is excellent.

This hotel was fantastic. The staff was great very friendly and helpfull in everyway. The breakfast was outstanding as well. The hotel was very conviently located right beside the Mall of America, and had a great shuttle service to the 28th street train station. Over all it was a great place to stay. We stayed for four days so know what the hotel is really like. The breakfast is awesome! They have three waffle makers, six coffee pots, several types of breads, fruits, yougurts. Even microwavable breakfast sandwiches. Some people want a breakfast buffet but this setup was much more relaible and offered alot more choice. It saved us money and was great, […] even down to the various oatmeal toppings. Now on to the rooms. The building has been remodeled so the rooms are a bit narrow due to the original building design but have been refurnished and painted with a modern fresh color scheme. Flat panel TV is nice and internet is fast. One would get far older decor and a similarly priced 'country' or 'super' themed hotel. So they did well updating it throughout. Some people want a hotel so new they can smell the new carpet and drywall, well this is close but if you really want NEW 'NEW' then book another place. If you like airplanes, like our children, get a room facing the airport landing path. You will see lots of planes land. If you want total quiet the get a room on the opposite side. Again, if you dont want to hear any hint of an airport, find another palce but nowhere matches how close this is to the Mall of America. The pool is clean and has two hot tubs and a patio. Nothing is grimey. The general manager is a young fellow with lots of care and energy. He is working hard and it shows in how well stocked everything is. The shuttle is convenient and the location is great. You'll want a few nitpicks so here they are: we wished each room came with a fridge but you can get one. A bit of dust behind the bed could have used a quick vacuuming. Overall, for the money. We feel we got a great value for a fresh clean updated room and a great breakfast area and great location. P.S. I could not imagine a more perfect hotel in the Twin Cities. 2 blocks from the light rail station which gave us a ride right up to Target Field, free shuttle to Mall of America and 10 minutes to the Minnesota Zoo. And the hotel was very clean and the employees were by far the nicest I have encountered at a hotel.....ever! And I would like to give a […] shout out to Marty, who is one of the shuttle drivers, thank you for bringing a smile to all of our faces, you do a great job!!! Decent Hotel

If you want to stay near the Mall of America, Fairfield Inn is your hotel. The people are nice and very helpful. The mall is a stone away...they even have a shuttle to take you to MOA and back. If you want breakfast and prefer to eat in the dining hall, you had better wake up early because it got pretty crowded! Oh, don't need to ask for a wake up call […] because the airplanes start coming around 5:30 in the morning! Devamı

Great location. Close to freeway, MOA, airport. Shuttle service. Very good breakfast. Friendly helpful employees.

The hotel was just OK. Beds were comfy, bathroom was clean, but tiny. Towels were thin. Had to search for the hair dryer which turned out to be in the closet area. The breakfast area was packed with people both mornings we were there. Very close to the Mega Mall.

This hotel is clean and neat. It's a great place for the money and it's literally two blocks from the Mall of America. The people are very nice and go out of their way to accommodate you. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would consider staying there again when visiting Minnesota.

No complaints at all. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and contemporary, and even though it's near the airport, I did not hear any planes flying overhead. Plus, the breakfast was great!

The staff was great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone went out of their way to make us feel comfortable . We left 2 car toys in our room and they are sending them to us. The breakfast was great !!!! The shuttle was so great to have. Thank you all very much !!!!!

Hotel was perfect for one adult and a small child. The shuttle took us to and from the front door of Mall of America, so we never had to worry about finding a place to park. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The complimentary breakfast was great and we enjoyed the later check out time i.e. 12:00 noon and that the pool/ whirlpool was open until midnight. Very close to the Mall & to Ikea. I would recommend this hotel to other travelers. The hotel employees were very friendly & helpful and the room cleaning staff did a great […] job of cleaning & supplying the rooms. The only thing I didn't expect was that my MC was charged at the time I booked rather than after my stay. Also, my email to confirm our room stated that there was no complimentary breakfast & that there was a $10 per day self-parking fee when in actuality there WAS a complimentary breakfast and there was NO fee for the parking which was confusing. I needed a Hotel close to the Mall of America and the Airport. This hotel offered the shuttle service to both. It was just what I needed.

The hotel was very nice, great breakfast in the morning. The staff were very helpful and even gave us a coupon book that someone else had turned in. The roll away we requested was in our room within 10 minutes of checking in. It was great to have the shuttle service to the Mall of America so we didn't need to worry about parking. This was a great hotel to stay at for our visit to the Mall of America. It was convenient to the mall. The staff was very friendly. Contintential breakfast was great. I would stay there again in the future.
