GREAT ROOM FOR THE PRICE AND CLEAN TOO.....EASY TO GET TO AND FROM DOWNTOWN

Our family of 4 stayed here for a week. We got it because of the price not the quality but it was okay. There will be young adults partying every now and then but there weren't any issues while we were there. The breakfast is very skimpy, a waffle maker, oatmeal packets and some muffins. The only thing we we're really upset about was the fact that our door would not lock. You could push it open when it was locked. We told them about it and they moved us to another room and then gave the room to someone else, without fixing the lock. Really close do Downtown and The Alamo.... Nice for the price....Not much right around the highway...Most definately need a car to get around.

We picked this hotel at the last minute and were surprised. It was clean and comfortable. We didn't get to try the breakfast but I did see a waffle maker.

This hotel was a great deal. In a good area for Ft Sam and downtown not far. Room was clean and comfortable with AC. Internet was Fast. no complaints!

I guess you get what you pay for, right? This place was a joke. We had paid for a non-smoking room and the room they provided smelled like someone just got done smoking pack after pack. The staff were unwilling to work with us in getting a different room. There were spiders and cockroaches all over the hotel room. The continental breakfast was very limited and although I specifically requested a room on first floor at time of booking they did not have this available. Keep in mind that check out is at 11 am and I did not arrive until 1 am so I cannot believe that no one from the first floor checked out at all that day to have my room available per my request.

If you are looking for a decent hotel that is quick to get downtown, this is the place. The staff is really nice, this is the third time I have stayed at this hotel and it's been fantastic!

I was not too happy when the employee that checked us in was upset that we had gotten a "good" deal and make him lose money. I don't think this was necessary. I might think twice about staying there. For the price he wanted us to pay, I would have rather stay at the Riverwalk!!

This hotel is nice and convenient to AT&T center and downtown access. The staff was friendly, no irons in the room, got one at the desk, the rooms are clean, and comfortable. I will definetily stay there again. The basic thing that I find it uncomfortable, is that the AC unit is turned off and it takes several hours for the room to cool off. Very convenient to downtown San Antonio. Neighborhood seemed OK, but really just walking from parking lot to room. Noise wasn't too bad - surprising because it's right off the highway, but sometimes other doors closing rattled a bit. A small fridge and microwave, but no coffee maker or mugs (and alarm clock didn't work). Room seemed pretty clean. No […] problem with the staff - although they did call my room just a few minutes after checkout at 11 to ask if I was staying another day (I wasn't). Beware - the parking lot is pretty beat up. location was great, not fancy but clean & affordable

The room was clean, modern, and at the high end of what you would expect for a hotel of this style. But the neighborhood, breakfast, exterior, etc, were all uninspired.

This hotel is very clean and the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was terrible. I couldn't drink the coffee. There was no cereal - just bread and a waffle maker. I recommend this hotel as long as you plan to eat breakfast at the nearby Denny's.

Bed sheets were crisp. Mattress was a nice pillow top. Bathroom was clean. Front desk was helpful and nice. Continental breakfast was kinda sad. Overall it was a great deal for the price.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The price is great and the service was wonderful. The room was very clean and the bed was really comfortable. I congratulate the management of this hotel. Thanks a million. I will definitely be staying here in my next visit to San Antonio.

This is a very clean hotel. It has 2 stories and no elevator. It is convenient to downtown. Breakfast was OK but no cereal.

Location of the hotel is O.K. if you are planning to visit downtown and the river walk area. Breakfast was very poor and the breakfast area insufficient for the amount of people in the hotel. Can not say anything bad about my room. I requested a room by the pool and got it. It was clean, air condition worked good, it served my needs very well! As an extra ... the breakfast waffles were great!

This was a standard Econolodge. The room was clean and neat. They gave me extra pillows. The only bad thing is the breakfast. Just go to Denny's and get some better food with a protien value.

I feel this hotel is a little too pricey for the price I paid. It was what I expected from an econolodge and nothing better. The wifi worked fine, the beds were a little too hard, not really enough towels, and the ac worked good. It was a decent location. Nothing really close by to eat. Dowtown was only a few minutes away as was splashtown (the reason […] for our trip) and the at&t center. My major gripe was the breakfast...wasnt really too good. They didn't have any ereal or milk. The rooms was very clean; however took a while for a/c to cool the room. We went to dinner and when we returned room was good temp. The breakfast was okay but for the price the room was affordable and good value. I would recommend it if someone wants inexpensive and very clean room. Pool was good too.

The hotel was just what i expected, the room was in good condition and the breakfast was pretty good, i also like the way that it's very close to downtown. The only thing that i complain was that there were not towels at the pool and there weren't enough towels at the room (we had recerved the room for 4 people), but i'll recomended.

The hotel was great for the price. We were at the hotel for one night, but I would go back. The free breakfast was good and they even had waffles you could make.

For the price we paid it was all one could expect from a motel.

The hotel was great! We didn't check in until around 11:30pm and we were in our clean, cool room by 11:35pm. It was quiet and comfortable, we will stay there again.

The hotel is on the feeder road which is very easy to get to. Only problem is that there is construction going on. The water ice machine needed some cleaning as well as the pool. You couldnt evene see the bottom of the pool and you could smell the chlorine. Restrooms were clean as was the rest of the room. They forgot to change the towels The housekeeping is horrible. Forgot to empty the trash. I'm not that happy and they don't understand somebodies situation ie military personnel espcially when I booked with hotels.com they dont communicate much.

Was put in a one room with terrible air conditioning, complained about it and manager put us in another with a brand new air conditioner. Was perfect then! Hotel and service were good for the price. I would stay in it again.

Our room is nice and clean. The bed is comfortable with nice clean sheets. The hotel parking look safe with bright lights at night. The workers are friendly. They don't have much of anything for breakfast. The hotel is 3 minutes drive to downtown and easy access to HI35.

I was a little skeptical on my stay there based on the reviews I read but it was a really great hotel. The room was big, had a couch, refrigerator, microwave...very clean and well kept...the breakfast was nice...a/c worked well...I have no complaints. It was a great hotel for the price, It is easy to find. It is right off the interstate. A couple minutes from downtown san antonio. The room was clean but we did find a lot of hair from the cleaning crew in the room. Standard.

The rooms were comfortable enough. No conditioner! Bring your own! The motel was hard to get to because of construction, but that's not the fault of the motel. The make-your-own waffles for breakfast were pretty good. ;-)

I really recommend this hotel!!!!

They leave the A/C off in the rooms. I understand about saving energy, but when we got into the room and turned on the A/C in the middle of the summer, it never cooled down the room. I would suggest turning on the A/C in the rooms that will be used and hour or 2 before check-in time. Also, not the best neighborhood. It was perfect for us. It is minutes from downtown and about a 45 miles from San Marcos. If you need to make a quick trip to San Antonio I would recommend this hotel.
