For a Waldoff I was let down by the staff! They made no effort to accomdate dinner reservations and quickly were booked up.

Great hotel in need of deferred maintenance

The resort is beautiful but overpriced. my bungalow looked clean, but smelled like mold & mildew.

No king size bed as advertised on hotels.com. Seagrill excellent, Ciello not up to standard. Tried to charge me to seat on luxury lounge chair at 4pm by the pool. Ridiculous! At some point let it go and make friends with their clients. These are the reasons it is not 5 stars. Overall beautiful.

Beautiful hotel with great security. Wouldn't recommend a bungalow though. Noisy pipes and too far from main hotel. Great staffing though. All were friendly and customer service oriented.

I stayed in the bungalos which are located by bus shuttle a few minutes from the main lodge. It may be only minutes away, but it may as well be miles. The building looks like a conversion of a former garden apartment. It is unattractive and to get to one's room, you need to walk a considerable distance. There are no hotel services at the facility other […] than maid service. If you want to eat at one of restaurants, have a drink at a bar, or make use of any of the facilities, you need to take a bus. The bus circulates every 15 minutes. I consider this camp, not a hotel stay. The rooms have comfortable beds, and adequate bathrooms- a shower but no bathtub if that is your only concern. I found particularly annoying the obligatory $20 per day resort fee, especially since I did not have easy access to use them. Personally, I entered my room in the late afternoon and checked out the next morning (the checkout time is 11am!) and that fee supposedly was for the coffee maker in my room and amenities that are in the main lobby. When I checked out, I went to see what the amenity was. I saw empty glasses with sliced lemons, but there was not a pitcher of water to be seen. I do not recommend that you stay at the bungalos. While they are more affordable, they provide none of the benefits of staying in a resort. Devamı

I absolutely did not want to leave the hotel. It had everything I needed from multiple great restaurants, boutiques, spa, golf, pools, croquet and security. The grounds were well manicured and I loved strolling down the sidewalk looking at the magnificent yachts. The experience reminded me of my stay at the Grand Hotel in Mackinaw Island...a place where […] you can unwind, be yourself and look forward to going back! Devamı

The Cloister rooms are very old and musty. The Addison wing is much nicer. But I did find ants in the room.

Beautiful hotel of bygone era.well maintained close to attractions

We booked this hotel during a tour of Florida in late Nov/early Dec. This was the only stop on our tour that we hadn't pre-booked before leaving the UK, and only selected this hotel a few days before we were due in Boca Raton. Our selection of this resort was based upon the pictures and description of the hotel and in particular the bungalow rooms […] on this site. The image of the rooms showed a bright and airy room with colourful decor and sliding glass doors to the outside - presumably the golf course mentioned in the description. If only we had done more homework. . . We arrived at the hotel to check in, which is a very grand experience indeed as you might expect from a WA hotel, and the sort of thing we were looking for. Our suspicions were quickly aroused when having checked in we were directed to our rooms in the 'bungalows overlooking the golf course' with the aid of a road map! After a 4 minute drive we found the bungalows - a concrete block of appartments that would have looked more at home on a council estate or out of the projects. We parked up and sought our room without the aid of any staff members being present and after some time found our room on the 2nd floor, which overlooked the parking lot and access road. As for being located on the golf course, well yes it may have been located by it, but we probably had a better chance of seeing St Andrews in Scotland from our room as being able to see the golf course here. As for the room, well yes it was a reasonable size and clean, but no different to any other you might find in any standard motel – and certainly not what you would expect from a Waldorf Astoria hotel and the associated costs. By this time we were fuming and called reception to complain. We explained that the room was nothing like the picture on the website and that we weren’t prepared to stay here. Very nice hotel but overpriced- resort charge and parking to expensive. They are like Fort Knox- wouldn't even let a pizza delivery person come up to front of hotel. I had to walk all the way out of resort. Nice water ferry to Beach Resort.

What a wonderful way to spend time away from home. The resort is luxurious, the staff gracious, the grounds luscious! I could live there!!

At first we were very upset with our room, it was dingy, dirty, the paint was peeling off the walls! They upgraded us to another room (with a balcony) and this room had mold everywhere in the room! I didn't even want to shower there! We wanted to leave but the staff there upgraded us again to a beautiful room very clean and upgraded with nice fixtures. […] I am usually not picky but the other rooms were unbearable. I have to say they were more than accommodating and had amazing service in the hotel. Once they remodel that particular part of the hotel it will be really nice. Devamı

from the moment we checked in with Caitlin at the front desk, until we checked out everyone in the hotel was very friendly and helpful. While I was at the hotel using there very large Mac computers I booked the hotel for January. I can't wait to go back.

PUBLIC AREAS WERE EXCEPTIONAL AND THE GROUNDS WERE BEAUTIFUL. HOTEL RESTAURANTS WERE VERY EXPENSIVE AND THE 20 DOLLAR A DAY RESORT FEE DID NOT COVER USE OF SAUNA OR HOT TUB. WE STAYED IN THE OLDER PART OF THE HOTEL CALLED THE CLOISTERS AND THE ROOM WE HAD SMELLED OF MOLD. WHEN WE ASKED FOR ANOTHER ROOM, THE ONE THEY GAVE US WAS BETTER, THE OLD MOLD […] SMELL WAS IN THE ROOM AND THROUGHOUT THE OLDER PART OF THE HOTEL. YOU CAN SPEND MORE MONEY AND STAY IN THE YACHT CLUB OR GOLF CLUB AND THE ROOMS ARE NEWER . THE BEACH CLUB SEAGRILL RESTAURANT WAS EXCELLENT WITH A GREAT OCEAN TERRACE VIEW. Devamı

A lovely hotel from the 1920's....it has been modernized in every way, yet still retains the look and feel of an era gone by. Courteous, helpful, and professional staff. Highly reccommend!

It is located right around the corner from the Mizner Park Ampitheatre. Theemployees are very accomodating. The Serendipity shop was really good and had cute products!

Rooms are just okay. Staff is very friendly and the grounds of the hotel are beautiful.

While I thought the amenities of the hotel were incredible I thought the staff was NOT knowledgeable about things they should know about. For example, I had asked about what pools were open in the evening and had to go thru a few of the staff until I actually figured out the answer to my own question. Boca Resort accommodations are exemplary. The staff is more than willing to assist in any request and with a smile. My family and I stayed for 5 days and wished we were staying longer. Can't wait to return. We ate many of our meals at the Resort's many restaurants and one night of room service. Hotel an opulant queen of a past age of luxury resort destinations . Like many older hotels some rooms are a bit small by todays standards . Mine was a smaller room with a view of the loading dock in the back of the hotel. I did not care as my stay was short. The grounds and facilities of the hotel are quite beautiful. The loctaion of hotel requires […] a seperate ferry shuttle to the beach . Also it is a $70 -90 cab or limo ride from the airport . The limos actually cheaper. Devamı

Great Place,we definitely would stay again!, howeve when they say off season they mean it. very limited restaurant avilability as most were closed, so plan on going off campus during off season.

The hotel and surrounding resort are beautiful. the service is spectacular, and the location is convenient to the beach or shopping. There are several fabulous restaurants on site, so you do not have to travel far for a great meal; however, if you want to venture off of the hotel grounds, you are also very close to other top-notch restaurants. For a first experience at a Waldorf property I expected a lot more. My room was in the older section and it obviously has been renovated but not well. Bathroom had mildew around the tub that was caulked over; shower curtain rod broken (fixed during my stay); paint overspray on tiles around shower. Paint on back of room door was cracked and peeling. […] There were black footprint marks on the wall by one of the beds - as if someone had kicked the wall. The room itself was comfortable and spacious. They did offer to move me when I complained but as I was only staying a few nights I declined. The bed was very comfortable. The property is gorgeous. I assume the new tower rooms are fine. The staff at the front entrance is very impressive - wearing white gloves; cleaning the front doors; making your first impression a very nice one. A truly beautiful hotel with well maintained grounds. The common areas in the main hotel are gorgeous and well designed. The rooms seem to vary but our bungalow was clean and very comfortable and included a full kitchen which would be ideal for families. The shuttle service that connects the various properties ran on time for the most part and made […] getting to the beach club fairly simple. We were disappointed by the actual beach which was very crowded over our stay. We were troubled by a prevailing "not my department" attitude by some of the staff we encountered. When we approcahed staff members regarding a lack of towels at the beach and pool, malfunctioning safe, shuttle bus delays and other such miscues we were told to contact a certain department or different staffer as it was not the responsibility of whomever we were talking to. I recognize how specialized each job may be at a resort of this size but would expect an offer to help alert the right person or facilitate the request in the interest of customer service. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and found the hotel to be pleasant and the staff to be polite just not as willing to help as one might hope for in a property of this caliber. Devamı

This hotel surpassed all my expectations. Beautiful decor and architecture as well as friendly staff. Tons of great restaurants and room service as well. Didn't try the spa, but hope to in the future.

Bungalows are a little bit too far away from tje rest of the resort. Generally dont like the resort or hotelfees that some places got, incl. BR resort, but the shuttlebus incl in the fee was nice.

this is a classic hotel that brings back memories of a bygone era of class and style

Wonderful experience. Full access to sister Hotel Boca Beach Club. Only downside was the $16 Mojito's!!

If you muist stay in Boca Raton Florida, you must go to the Boca Resort. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and the staff are all completely attentive and caring. The ability to go the the Beach resort is also a plus but I stayed for a while and came back to the original building. Mothers Day brunch and the top of the tower at Cielo was amazing. The view […] and service were beyond compare. I take it you can see I loved every minute. Hotels.com made this booking easy and secure. Devamı
