Courtyard by Marriott Chicago Wood Dale - Wood Dale

I was a little surprised i picked it because it was reasonable it was a little way out of chicago but it was very easy traveling to city. It was clean it didn't come with a fridge but i asked and they brought one to the room. I would stay there again. always been a fan of courtyards and this was was no exception.

The hotel is very nice and very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. However, hotels.com informed us there was a shuttle from the airport but there is not. The hotel staff soar they have told hotels.com several times they don't have a shuttle but they keep telling customers they do!

Stayed there for a day during our weekend trip to Chicago during St. Pat Day. It is located around 27 mi from downtown Chicago. We drove down without any hassles, checked in in 30 secs flat and after the hectic day sightseeing we were glad to be in a room that was clean, comfy and well equipped. Great place to stay-great value for the money! The staff is very friendly and gave us some great restaurants to eat at. Without a doubt I would stay here again. The area is very safe-we had a packed car and felt safe leaving everything in it overnight.

This is my NEW GETAWAY spot. It is far enough to feel like a vacation and perfectly located near malls and fun places. I took the kids to gamerooms and laser tag. GREAT SERVICE,CLEAN ROOMS

We stayed Friday and Saturday weekend nights and got and excellent rate. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was great too. A very pleasant experience.

The room was very nice, and I loved watching the planes taking off and landing at the airport, when we were there. Its not in the city but wasnt a far drive from the city

My stay was fantastic with a great room and friendly staff. The hotel is located near O'Hare airport but is on the opposite side so getting there took 20 minutes.

We requested two adjoining rooms - one for the kids and one for us. The rooms were great, really comfortable. The pool area was very nice for the kids. Would definitely stay there again!

Very nice hotel. Close to the train station. Comfy beds. Great lobby and pool.

Set in an industrial wasteland, it's about 20 minutes to O'Hare. Priced much less than the airport hotels.

Don't stay here unless you like using wet towels and don't mind hair all over the shower. When the hotel employee came to change my towels the hotel employee said 'the towels are just wet, they will be dry by morning. Also I showed the Hotel Clerk that I paid for breakfast and showed my receipt fro Hotels.com but was told that they do not include breakfast […] on any reservations. The Hotel advertised full breakfast but only had a continental breakfast. I booked this hotel for the full breakfast

Overall we enjoyed our staying at this hotel, the only inconvenient was that our garbage can was not emptied and the used towels were left on the floor from the day before. After telling he lady at the counter about this she told us it was Sunday and there was no cleaning service.

The hotel was very nice, the kids liked the pool and the hot tub was very warm. The hotel is under renovation, but it didn't affect our stay.

This was a nice hotel. People were very helpful. It was further than I thought from Chicago, but train was close buy and went into Union Station near Willis Tower. I give it a 4.5 out of 5.

Even though it is under construction the amenities are still available for you. It's very quiet and relaxing! They have a nice balcony where you can enjoy a delicious breakfast taking advantage of the breeze.

I wondered why this hotel was considerably less expensive than others nearby. When I arrived I found out- it was under renovation! My suite was large enough and the workstation appeared promising, but the Internet was iffy, and the seating not comfortable. everything was excellent, except there was no fridge or microwave and coming from a long distance, I had alot of snacks that needs refrigeration that needs to be tossed d/t not fridge access.

Great Place to stay when going for Chicago sightseeing.

The Hotel grounds were presentable and looked kept up. The room had an odd but not offensive smell to it. The room was clean. the bed was a little hard for my taste. The free internet was nice and the small sofa was nice also. The bathroom was spacious but there was mold on the shower curtain. The soap did not have a pleasant smell. We've been traveling for two weeks and this was by far the most comfortable place we stayed. Great service from Raul, and he helped us out with toothbrushes while our toiletries were who-knows-where.

We enjoyed being there - the breakfast is good and the rooms are clean. The pool is nice. the staff is very nice and friendly

Great hotel and just 25 minutes to the Loop area. i would recommend to all friends heading to Chicago

We stayed at this hotel while on spring break and everyone loved it-will definitely go back. Breakfast and the service was exceptional. Location was close to the train to the loop and plenty of parking while riding the train for only 1.50/day. Rooms were clean and ready when we arrived. The hotel is well located for my business purposes and although more expensive than it should be, suited me well. the staff are really friendly and helpful, the restaurant although lacking in atmosphere served a great steak and again the staff made up for any short comings. the room was very comfortable and clean, my only issue was the high tarriff […] for a three star hotel. I booked this hotel because it said it was 4 miles from the airport, it was more like 10 miles with no easy way to get to it. It was in the middle of no where. But the rooms were clean, and the service was good, but the beds were not very comfortable.

I would not recomend this hotel there service was horrible if I could have rated a 0 i would have. Our door to our room was jammed and the only way we could get in was to slam the handle up and then down REALLY hard (not a great safty feature) and they said they were going to get it fixed the next day and they never did. They changed our sheets and […] one bed had a HUGE black stain on the comforter. The heater in the room was VERY loud and made it hard to sleep. The pool/hot tub ruined our swimsuits and shorts we had wore in the pool and the clothing was brand new and was VERY pricy!!!! The hotel was great and unbelievably inexpensive. We were visiting the downtown area and driving the suburbs, but downtown hotels all charge for parking...so the O'Hare location was the closest we could get for an inexpensive hotel with free parking. We transferred here after staying in an another hotel by O'Hare that was slightly more but uncomfortable […] and not nearly as nice as this hotel. This hotel is not where most of the O'Hare hotels are located, but rather in the warehouse area near O'Hare. The biggest problem is that it's pretty isolated as far as restaurants or anything else, but it feels safe. The hotel was very nice and clean. Beds and linens are comfortable. Although it is a short 10 min drive away from the O'Hare main entrance, this Marriott is as nice or nicer than other chains we have stayed at in the area and is $30 to $50 cheaper! The staff is friendly and courteous and the room and other facilities are very updated and clean. Very nice place. Extremely good rate. VERY quiet. VERY comfortable bed. Safe. An altogether great place to stay. However, if you're spending the night and then getting up with the birds to head to O'Hare, I'd recommend staying a bit closer to the airport to give yourself a few extra minutes of sleep. Staff was nice and the room was clean. If you find yourself in the area (and there is nothing around it), you could do worse. But...I've seen much better Courtyards. It just has sort of a worn feel to it. And no warmth or vibe whatsoever.
