Days Inn Roosevelt Boulevard - Philadelphia

This hotel is in a very unsafe part of town. I checked in and checked back out within 5 minutes due to the crackheads roaming around in the halls and knocking on my door. Do not stay here if you value your life.

The breakfast bar redefined breakfast. The same thrifty wheat bread, muffins that stuck to to wrapper, and one flavor of jelly both days. The coffee had no taste even with cream. I told the staff person that the color was strange and had no flavor. He had just put out a "fresh" thermos. He pretended he did not understand my comments. Same Rice Crispies […] and Raisin Bran both days. I did without anything to eat. Anybody knew this food was stale. This bar left a lot to be desire. I ask to use the exercise room as it was locked. I was told it is under maintainence. No time frame for repairs was provided. I was approached by suspicious person on bicycle in parking lot. He wanted something from me, but I was to traumatized to figure out what he wanted. The atmosphere of that parking lot changes drastic at night. I can't begin to comment on the rooms. I reserved 2 rooms at same time. Staff was firm that the two rooms would never be together. Makes no sense to me. The hotel definitely needs a new vacuum as it picks nothing up off the carpet. I asked the staff for a comment cards and again I was roadblocked. I was told to use hotel business card. The management of this hotel use the bare mininmum they can get away with to provide services to customers. They are not committed to customer services You don't have enough time to read my notes. I would not have paid this price. I will be calling Hotel.com to question the billing service. Devamı

Reason for stay: business trip, Not from the area I would only stay here if this is all I could afford. The photo on the Internet looked nice but it doesn't paint the entire picture. Carpet was dirty, and worn, wheelchair ramp is too steep, electrical plugs were missing covers. If you're white you'll probably be the only one there. On the positive […] side the cleaning staff was very friendly, and the night security guard gave a slight sense of security. there is a bomb IHOP right next-door the stays crazy busy though. I felt safe while on my five day stay here but I would probably not stay here again. Devamı

Hotel accommodations pleasing. staff friendly and welcoming.

Our stay was for 12 days. Accommodation and staff was satisfactory but we had some belongings missing. Not sure if I would stay there again but if I did, we would lock our belongings up when we leave the room. Book your stay online because price for stay online is much better than pricing offered at front desk.

This is not a nice motel just cheap but my room smelled like someone had been using it just before me. This is the last time I will patronize this disgusting business. I do not know why it is on hotel.com? The front desk clerk was extremely rude.

This was the pitts, and had I known I would of stayed in center city. The room smelled of mill dew, and I am not use to having to go to window for iron and board. No refrigeration in the room, which really sucked. You could not purchase food and keep in room. I will never stay here again.

The hotel itself was pretty average. Unfortunately, they didn't provide an iron and board in the room and we had to wear next day's clothes all wrinkled. Other than that, the stay was ok.

This hotel is ghetto. There was people fighting in the hall ways and the staff isnt really nice.

The hotel has no elevator, had no iron in the room the people at the desk were rude and when we asked them for a couple extra pillows you would think we asked them to go home and get them from their homes, They weren't having it. The neighborhood is terrible it's not really close to anything and the bed sheets feel like sand paper, not to mention the […] shower kept turning cold every 30 seconds. Easy public transportation (but expensive). Weren't there long enough for any real feel.

The cost per night was high in such a run down section of Philly. The room must have been recently painted as the fumes were present the entire time we were there. The paint job was messy and all over the trim. We left one day early, even though the room was paid for and took the loss because we were so unhappy with the room.

The hotel was in the middle of all shopping areas and very convenient, however all their sinks were leaking so we were flooded out of two different rooms and we were only there for two nights.

Felt very unsafe staying there. Nieborhood very dangerous. Would not stay here again unless extremely necessary.

I will probably never get on to tell you how good a hotel is. I will probably never write to you about an isolated bad experience. What I want to emphasize here is that the Days Inn I stayed in at 4200 Roosevelt in Philly was an absolute S%$# Hole. If it had not been so late by the time I check ed in I would have gladly left and found another hotel. […] It was disgusting. From the horrible carpets to the cigarette smell in the hallways to the cigarette buts in the hall in the morning. I did not take my shoes off until I went to bed. Worst place I have EVER stayed. I read some horrid reviews of this place but chose it anyway for the price and convenience. All I wanted was a clean quiet room. The room was perfectly clean (although I would have liked to find shampoo in the bathroom -- but that pertains to my hair's cleanliness, rather than the room's). It's not in the best neighborhood of Philadelphia and each parking […] space has a disclaimer form the management about theft of or from your car -- but I knew about the neighborhood before I booked the room. There was some noise in the hallway but by the time I fell asleep reading (11:00 or so) I heard nothing. Devamı

The hotel is old and disgusting. The room was tiny and dirty. The walls were paper thin and I could hear the conversatin the people next room over were having. Parking lot didn't feel safe or secure.

I highly recommend you stay away from this hotel. It was very run-down, and dirty. I would never stay here again.

I stayed here the night before my Medical school interview at Drexel. The neighborhood and people in the area was a bit sketchy. The bathroom was tiny and the bedside table was damaged. The linens had some small stains on them. The continental breakfast wasn't good for someone who was on a time crunch, the only "to-go" item was sliced bread. I was not pleased with the desk clerk. He seemed very clueless, Therefore he wasn't very helpful in answering my questions. I have stayed in very nicely mannered hotels and I would expect better service. However, the neighborhood is very trashy and ghetto, so I guess I can't expect the best.

Schlichtes, zweckmäßiges Hotel. Frühstück ausreichend, allerdings kein frrisches Obst. Weit entfernt zum Stadtzentrum (Liberty Mall etc.). Walmart, Old Navy, Subway etc. in direkter Nachbarschaft. Angemessenes Preis/Leistungs-Verhältnis. Kein Kühlschrank im Zimmer. Mikrowelle im Bereich der Rezeption.
