The Point at Poipu - Koloa

Absolutely perfect. Clean neat spacious accommodations. Great pool and pool bar. Courteous staff. Good location for dining out or shopping.

We had three generations to accommodate and keep busy in Kauai, and this condo was a great choice. It had a good-sized swimming pool; clean and well-laid-out condos; well-outfitted kitchen; daily maid service; well-maintained grounds and pool; an excellent beach right next door (at the Grand Hyatt - a hotel that was at least three times what we paid) […] on a lovely paved walking path. There were sea turtles and whales in the sea right in front of the place, too. We didn't make use of the activities centre (Ukelele lessons, nightly movies for the kids, orientation for timeshare slaves), but they looked to be of good quality. Be aware that this hotel is a 15 walk from the more populated (read: tourist-y, with the touristy-y trappings like shaved ice vendors and rental shops) beaches, but that was a plus for us. almost deserted beaches suit us just fine. The only bad point was that the group living in the unit above us made the lack of sound-proofing apparent, as we heard their little preschoolers running around (stomp-stomp-stomp) above us whenever we were in the unit. Be prepared to do a big shop if you are staying for a while as there were no condiments (salt, pepper, ketchup, soy sauce, etc.) in the kitchen. Stop on the way from the airport and get that done, then you'll be set for the week (or longer). Altogether, excellent value for the money in a quieter neck of the busier South Shore. Devamı

Great place. Easy walk to Grand Hyatt (where conference was) for almost half the price. Super nice and friendly front desk-especially Dawn! Super comfortable beds, excellent pool, spa and very decent exercise room. Lots of things for kids to do and well set up kitchen for eating in.

This is whale season, and the view form the room(s) were fantastic...you could watch them gliding past as you ate breakfast or sat in the spa. It is a lovely spot on the coast even though there is no beach at your doorstep it is a greta place to set out from. The facility is set out with space, and the central areas are pools of some sort. We may have […] travelled in a quieter time of year but found guests willing to repsect others privacy and desire for quiet. The room had good quality entertainment except tv reception not so great, but if thats all to complain about then get outside and enjoy! Good self parking but a bit of walking to lifts if stairs arent your thing. Didn't hear noises from other apartments either. The kitchen was fully equipped and easy to use. We found the washing machine and dryer a big bonus. It is basically set up so you could live there, as the cupboards are volumous and plentiful. We were never hassled about timeshare so not an issue. This is not a brand new resort but was quite the Hawaiin feel so this was also a bonus. Good access to main roads to visit other areas of this island. The condo units are comfortable. The resort itself is lacking in amenities and beware of hidden costs.

The Point at Poipu is an excellent hotel for any visitor to Kauai. As the name implies, it is located on a point in the south shore area of Poipu providing beautiful vistas of the mountains and the Pacific Ocean. It's location is perfect for viewing the morning sunrise with the added bonus of getting to see turtles feeding along the rocky shoreline. […] The full kitchens complete with all cooking equipment in the units gives the ability to prepare meals yourself during your stay. The pool area is fantastic and features a complete bar and grill. We will definitely stay at the Point at Poipu on our next visit to Kauai. Devamı

Great pool. Lots of grills for a fish dinner. Shipwreck beach is a 10 minute walk. It's nice to have a kitchen

Great location, beautiful ocean views and nice swimming pool. We had a 2 bedroom condo unit and the only problem was no air conditioning in the room with the 2 twin beds. There was A/C in the living area and master bedroom. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I enjoyed my stay at the Point - it was convenient to everything in South Kauai. The rooms were very clean and comfortable - the only little thing was they switched to CFL lights, the cool type so it made the rooms look a little weird. My family of five had a wonderful 2 nights at the Point Timeshare Resort. The room was very comfortable, clean, modern and spacious for 5-6 people. The pool grill was nice and convenient to eat at. We loved the location and would walk out to the rocks at 4pm to see all the sea turtles. We usually spotted 8-9 turtles there. The beach in front of the […] Hyatt is beautiful but not great for swimming, however the main Poipu beach is only a 5 min. drive away. We own a condo in Princeville and it's a treat to sometimes spend a couple nights on the south shore of Kauai when we visit. We would definitely stay there again! Devamı

We used this resort-style condo as a base location for our adventures across Kauai. WORTH EVERY PENNY! Poi'pu has a wonderful beach and some spectacular restaurants, and is ideally located basically in the middle of the island, so you can evenly split day-trips to either end. Would absolutely recommend this place to others..

Overall, the resort was clean, attractive with appealing grounds and great location. Biggest irritation: booked a "garden view" room, and what we ended up with was a view of the entrance driveway of the hotel that had a few plants in the center, grassy area. When I asked about the "garden view," the hotel clerk was non-responsive and said that the "gardens" […] are in many areas on the property. The service was lukewarm - when we asked for different pillows (pillows were overstuffed - too high and firm for smaller person), we were told they had no more down ones left and couldn't help us. The resort was not full, so they must have people complaining about the pillows frequently. Some updates needed in rooms,but overall, the room was modern, flat screen tvs in every room, modern kitchen, etc.. The time-share presentation was not high-pressure, and not required for the stay. We did it because they offered a discount on a tour we wanted. Be prepared that the "90 minute" presentation may go longer unless you are firm about your time. Devamı

This was our 2nd time staying at this resort. Very convenient for families. The activities program was outstanding & a lot of fun. The resort is in need of repair which is currently being done. The first time we stayed there it was owned by Embassy Resorts & was fairly new. Hopefully the new owners will be able to restore the property to it's original […] state. Very enjoyable time there. Don't do the timeshare tour if you aren't truly interested. The activity credit isn't worth your 2 hours. Devamı

We had an oceanview room with two bedrooms. It was very spacious and the kitchen and washer/dryer were very convenient.

AWESOME!!!!!!!! LOCATION, AMENENITIES, LINENS, VIEW........ Would reccomend to anyone.....

Beautiful property! We were there for a family wedding reception and it was the perfect place. Two bedroom condos are set so there is a master with its own bathroom and on the otherside of the living area there is another bedroom with a bath which can also be used for guests that you have over. Large kitchen area! We cooked some meals and ate out at […] others. Our group had two condos and we would all join up for dinner or get together in the evening and the room would accomodate many people comfortably. Within walking distance to the Grand Hyatt which is beautiful! Hiked up and over Shipwreck Rock, saw lots of whales! This is our second time there and we will definately return! Only bad thing was that it rained and rained!!! bu we were still able to hike and be outside....afterall it was still 75 degrees! Devamı

This was my first time in Hawaii, we were very happy with our 2BR/2Ba condo. It seemed quite large, with lots of closet space. Kitchen very adequate to cook dinners. We always ate out on the patio, watching lizards, birds, and a small view of the ocean (2nd floor ones in our bldg - # 5 - had great ocean views). Grounds quite nice: lots of ponds and […] you could walk on the bluffs for awesome ocean views. Staff was very nice (I didn't expect daily bed-making). Only down-side is that it isn't on the beach. It's a 5-minute walk to Shipwreck beach, which is great for playing, but too rough for swimming. 20 min walk/5 in drive ot swimming beach (Poipu Beach). All in all, we enjoyed it a lot. Devamı

Die lage für die erkundung von kauai ist gut. Wir sind 4 nächte dort geblieben.die appartments waren riesig und super eingerichtet. Vollständige küche inkl. Waschmaschine und tumbler....allles tiptop.

Bokade detta hotell/resort 4 dagar innan min resa till Kauai. Ett helt fantastiskt hotell där allt verkligen var på topp! Perfekt för 2 personer eller familj då rummen består av 2 sovrum, 1 vardagsrum, 1 kök och 2 toaletter. Har man tur att få havsutsikt så är det ännu bättre.

虽然酒店设施比较老了，但还是很干净的。房间都很大，花1000多RMB住2室2厅的房子，信价比还是很不错的。适合家庭度假。就是等到下午4点才在我们的强烈要求下拿到了房间的钥匙，这一点比较郁闷。
