Comfort Inn O'Hare - Des Plaines

The hotel was nicer than I had expected based on previous reviews. The Pros: The staff members were friendly, the room was large and clean, the hotel was quiet, and the WiFi worked. The Cons: The bed was a bit too stiff, the carpet was rough under my bare feet, and the tub drained a tad slowly. Final Verdict: This hotel is a great option in the area […] if you're on a budget. The reception staff was unfriendly and not helpful at all. Nothing to eat around the inn.

The Comfort Inn O'Hare is conveniently located at I-294. The hotel's common areas were fairly clean, sidewalk salted etc. The room itself was uncomfortable in that the King Size bed was shoved against the wall with only about 3 inches clearance between mattress and wall. The person in back had to climb over the person in front in order to get up at […] night. Most uncomfortable. Also the area between wall and bed obviously does not get a lot of vacuuming, no room for the vacuum. Breakfast was very adequate. Devamı

Desk clerk had difficulty with the hotels.com booking. Left it on me to contact them and initiate a fix. Offered to cancel the hotel.com booking and rebook directly for about $40 more. Overall was just ok. Convenient to airport which is what we needed. Van service to and from was good. Nearby restaurant was satisfactory.

Very noisy and a lot of things were broken in the room.

Shuttle Bus and Front dest were nice, also room is clean.

Most all aspects of our stay were average to poor. Service was fine, location was fine, the room could use some maintenance work in the shower and the hot tub was only luke warm and not working very well at all. We did however get a good night's sleep which was very important to us

Great location. Pleasant staff. Still given the heavy construction and winter conditions, better and LARGER signage inside the parking areas would make a huge difference for those unfamilar with the shared lot with the unaffiliated restaurant...and how to enter/exit the hotel parking area. Plowing the lot would help too. Room is clean and well organized. […] Bathtub needed resurfacing. For a one- or two-night stay, this hotel is affordable and convenient. Devamı

Service was pleasent, room small but comfortable. Was there for business and it was close for that and the airport. Terrible traffic do to road construction in front of hotel

shuttle to convention center was quite inconvenient because almost always went to the airport first and took forever- once I had to wait 50 minutes to get picked up from the convention center. Otherwise the hotel was great.

The hotel is right on the freeway which makes it good if you have to go down town. There is a resturant right on the lot of the hotel which is very convenient. The only reason I am not giving this hotel 5 stars is because when we down stairs to use the hott tub it was dirty. It had a big nasty dirt ring around it...yuk!! Room extremely clean and hotel very conveniently located but breakfast could stand some improvement - Breakfast is the most important meal of the day but they ran out of some of the food about 45 mins before the end of the scheduled meal time plus if you're looking for some nutritional cereal or real fruit or even real orange juice other than fruit […] cocktail from a can or sugar frosted flakes or tang-like oj, eat at the restuarant next door!
