Quality Inn Saint Ignace - St Ignace

Quiet location, good value, BUT air conditioner was noisier than a freight train good thing windows opened.

Check-in was a cinch as we purchased our stay through hotels.com. The hotel is located right off the highway US 2 and I-75, and was very easy to find. The hotel staff was great and friendly. The free breakfast buffet was good, but typical. They had plenty of food for all the visitors: scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, cold cereal, oatmeal, biscuits […] and gravy, make-your-own waffles, bagels, scones, fresh fruit, toast, juice, etc.. It was very nice to have the breakfast. The condition of the hotel was pretty good (4 of 5) and our room was also pretty good. Some stains on the carpet were noticeable, but the room smelled and seemed clean despite this. The sheets, towels and comforters were very soft! Nice pillows, too. The parking lot was clear despite the snow. We looked at the pool and jacuzzi but did not go in. This Quality Inn has a fitness center on the second floor which I normally would use, but we were limited on time. It looked fine as well. The front desk area had hot coffee, both regular and decaf, and ice water. Our room was located at the end of the hallway near the ice machine, vending, and laundry area, and none of this bothered us at all. Nice stay. Devamı

Our smoke free room had a very strong stale smell of smoke as soon as you walked in the door. Also the carpeting in the hallways was stained. Staff was friendly, beds and pillows ok. The breakfast was good but had to wait because it got emptied out. Thought the room could use a sprucing up. Peeling wall paper in the bathroom, staines tub.

The girls at the front desk were fabulous! They were the friendliest staff i have ever encountered in staying in a hotel! I had many questions about the area and they were so helpful as well. Our stay was awesome due to their quality service. Thank you so much ladies! The place was also clean and comfortable!

Really liked the cookies under glass. Yummy. Staff were very friendly and professional. Loved the pillows. Will stay there again

We have stayed here before and liked it both times. My only complaint is that the manager was very rude. The rest of the staff were very pleasant except for the manager. Otherwise, it was a great experience - my grand kids loved it and my kids loved it. Will be visit again!!

The hotel went out of there way to make sure their guests had a hearty early breakfast before the Mackinac bridge walk. Starred serving breakfast at 5:30 am. They even made omlets. Much appreciated!

The hotel itself was easy to find, bu the room could use improvements. There were stains on some of the pillows, noticeable garbage under the dresser, & only 1 of the 4 lamps in the room actually worked.

Met our needs as we had a pet. Continental breakfast was less than satisfying. The location was convenient.

many patches up places on ceiling, wall paper pilling, carpet with dirty spots, air condition stopped working. but staff was great at changing my room.

we stayed when there was a hockey tournament in town...big mistake, there were kids everywhere running up and down the hall, knocking on our door and running away, popcorn all over the front lobby. We left and went out for the evening and upon returning were told abruptly by the night front desk person that there was to be no talking in the hallways […] and to make sure we were not being loud. She then told us if she had it her way no one would be allowed in HER hotel after midnight, even though we paid to stay there!? was not happy whatsoever Devamı

Our room was on the second floor which usually means a quieter setting. Not so here. There were kids running around the halls screaming and motorcycles reving in the parking lot . Breakfast the next morning was very unorganized. They had no forks or plates, the sitting area had maybe 5 small tables. People were sitting in the lobby trying to eat sausage […] in a bowl with a spoon. Finally one hotel employee opened up the conference room to make things easier. I stayed here before a couple times years ago and it wasn't too bad. This time was a complete disapointment. Seemed very dirty and sleezy. Although place is non smoking there are cig burns in carpet. Bath had peeling wall paper and what looked like mold in the corners. Shower lacked decent hot water. Overall cleanliness of the place was questionable. […] Breakfast was inedible. I ended up throwing it away and going to a nearby restaurant. St Ignace lacks decent lodging. Stay in Mac City if in the area. Devamı

Area hotels were booked in St. Ignace, but the Quality Inn had openings- and now we know why. The hotel was *filthy*-- heavy cigarette odor in room, filthy carpets, dirty bathroom. Do not recommend- at all. The front desk clerk was polite, location was ideal, but conditions were disgusting.

the stay itself was not bad. although they wanted an additional $10.00 per night to put a fridge in the room. the internet was constantly going on and off. the breakfast in the morning was less than satisfing. we ended up going to the nearby truck stop for our breakfasts and enjoying it much better.

Plusses: Pet friendly, just off Hwy 2. Friendly,helpful staff. Clean and well kept. Minuses: motorcycles revving until late at night. Only restaurants within easy walking distance were McDonalds and Big Boy. A Panera's or equivalent would have been nice. Nothing fancy, but somewhat better quality food. Takeout,as I had a dog with me.

Good low budget hotel that is pet friendly. Staff was friendly, room was clean and pretty comfortable. Short drive to downtown where restaurants and ferry's are. Overall, a good experience for the money.

This hotel is a charm. My room (and the whole hotel for that matter) was impeccable. Everything in my room worked as supposed to work. Hotel offers a hot (and free) breakfast in the morning. There is a popcorn popper in the lobby, which gives a pleasant and inviting welcome to all tired guests. Overall, I would recommend the hotel to others. Both nights we were the people in one of the rooms next to us got back to their room about 2-2:30am and woke me and my wife up. The second night I called the front desk and asked them to tell our neighbors to shut up. The bed wasn't very comfortable, and for a queen, it still felt small. That's probably […] the biggest reason it was uncomfortable. Good location though. It is close to St. Ignace and other nearby attractions. Restaurants are close if you don't feel like driving somewhere for dinner. Bathroom was clean and the staff was friendly. The indoor pool is nice too, but a little chilly. Devamı
