The hotel is old but clean and it has a very convinient location like shopping, restaurant, buses and etc.

Very good location, Staff friendly and helpfull, beds rock hard! bath very small hip bath with shower over, bit hard for me to get into due to knee injury. Breakfast good continental.

This was THE WORST hotel experience I have ever had! Completely different than the posted pictures! When I arrived the woman at the front desk explained my room (on the third floor) would not be ready for 2 hours. Being early we were grateful they would watch our luggage while we went to see the sites. When we returned, I went to get the room key. He […] fumbled around in the key slots and explained that he could not find our room key. He insisted that we recieved it earlier- this went on for 15 minutes. I had to show him that our luggage was still sitting in the hallway, not checked into our room. So, he proceeded to give us a different room (on the first floor). This room looked worse than a one star/ unrated hostle. The room had literally no room in between the beds, only one foot of space to manuver around the entrance, and the bathroom was disgusting! Completely unrenovated. On top of this, the room smelled of sewer and found the source of the smell was foul water coming up from the shower! When I went back to the front desk to address this- clearly he had given us the wrong room, wrong floor, totally unacceptable- his attitude towards us was of complete indifference. "we should have come back to the hotel earlier to get our room." So they had given away the room I booked a week and a half earlier AND checked into at 11am! STAY AWAY! DO NOT WASTE YOUR VACATION HERE! oh, and the continental breakfast is a joke. Devamı

I very much liked this hotel. Great location. Clean. Perfect size. Nothing fancy. Exactly what I expected for the price that I paid.

The reception staff were really helpful, recommending a great restaurant. They also helped when there was a train strike on the day we left Rome. The breakfast was lovely, loads of choice and all very fresh Great location and despite being on a main road was very quiet. From reading the reviews and looking at the website I expected quite a nice 3 star hotel in a good location. The location was fine however the hotel was very disappointing. Reception is on the 1st floor, very small lift so I was glad that my room was on the first floor. I regretted this later as it was beside the breakfast area and very noisy with […] banging doors, people etc at this time. I had a very small single room. I travel a lot throughout Europe, mostly for work, this single room was about half the size of an average single room in my experience. Breakfast was ok but not special. The options were 1 type of the following; cereal, cold cut, cheese, bread rolls, tinned peaches. There was also a selection of pastries and juices from concentrate. Good points were the location, some of the staff were nice and the room was kept clean, Will not recommend as there are better hotels available for the money and the location. Devamı

Overall this hotel is in a great location, shopping area, and is nice but we didnt have a great expereice here. First off the hotel is located on the second floor so if you are traveling with a lot of luggage you have to make several trips in the small elevator, but this is the case in many hotels in Europe. Furthermore when we got into our room the […] only thing that fit was the bed. No room at all. The main disappointment we experienced is the air conditioning. We stayed two nights and both nights were extremely hot. We were soaked in sweat. I asked them to fix the AC and he said it was working but it barely worked, it was cooler outside in the middle of summer. The breakfast buffet was not very good either. For the price you pay I feel this hotel is not worth staying at. The only advantage to this hotel is a good location but I would definitely not go back. Devamı

Great location. Room was hot and you couldn't leave the air conditioner on when you weren't in the room as you needed the room key to turn on the power.

Copenhagen, 25. June 2011 The stay at Hotel Giolli Nazionale was pleasant with very good service and a good breakfast.. The site was perfect so it was easy to get to other sites in Rome. The only thing on the negative side was that the room was very small and with no armchair to sit in and relax.

Staff were friendly great location the surrounding neighbourhood was good, within walking distance to all the sites and the hop on hop off bus is just at the end if the street, breakfast was not great but as I understand it's the same in all hotels in Rome. Overall I would recommend this hotel

The Hotel Giolli Nazionale in Rome is located on a main street, Via Nazionale, which was very convenient for getting anywhere in the city. That being said, its location was really the hotel's only positive attribute. The small bathroom with only half a wall "enclosing" the tub was typical of most lower-scale European hotels, and our room did not have […] air conditioning, making it extremely hot and stuffy and difficult to sleep. Based on what I've heard from other travellers, the hotel was on par with most 3-star hotels in Rome, but I would not want to stay there again. Devamı

The hotel was situated in an excellent location. We walked everywhere, except the Vatican which was a tube journey away. The tube station was at the top of the road, and the main train station(from the airport) just a little further round the corner. Our room was great, bathroom nice and clean, and the bed was huuuge. I like a hard bed so be warned […] that thebad was quite hard. The TV wasn't up to much, but we didn't need it anyway. The only downside with the room was that there were no tea and coffee making facilities. (Don't know whether I should expect that in Rome though!) and the cleaner threw away my newspaper before I'd finished reading it!! The shower was nice and warm, plenty of towels. Breakfast was very good. Fruit, croissants, bread, yoghurts, ham and cheese, juices and tea/ coffee, including Engligh breakfast tea. It was a buffet which meat we went back several times to fill up for the day. The staff were friendly and helpful, although their English wasn't brilliant. Neither was my Italian but we laughed and got through it. We had a room at the rear of the hotel, which was a relief because the front was a main road with plenty of traffic. They say that the glazing blocks out the traffic noise. I have no reason to doubt as our glazing blocked out a thunder storm. The view we had was poor, but I would prefer that to risking traffic noise! I would definately return to this hotel and have already recommended it to colleagues at work! Devamı

Consiglio questo hotel a Roma perchè a mio avviso ha un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Posizione davvero strategica, cinque minuti a piedi dal centro.

Masse støv på vegger på rommet, og under sengen. Bad greit. Frokosten manglet ene dagen brød, og kunne ikke skaffe mer selv om det var lenge til frokosten stengte. Måtte be om glass, kopper og annet. Eggene var kokt til de var irrgrønne.

Bra läge, nära till de flesta sevärdheter och metro Rumet var lagom stor och ganska fint möblerat, men det luktade mögel och väggtappeterna i rummet var ofrescha,lösnat på vissa ställen och hade fuktfläckar. Frukosten var ok. 13 Euro för en 50cl flaska vatten och en läsk från minibaren.

Helt greit hotell med gangavstand til severdigheter, buss, metro og jernbane. Vi bodde på hotellet i 5 netter og var veldig fornøyd med beliggenheten og hotellet.
