Hayatımda hiç bu kadar kötü bir konaklama yaşamamıştım. ne ödediğim paranın karşılığını alabildim ne de rahat edebildim... Air conditon sesinden uyuyamadık. Resepsiyon görevlileri saygısız ve ilgisiz. Yataklar berbattı. 21 günlük kuzey amerika tatilimin en kötü dönemi edison hotel de yaşadığım dönemdi..

Otel Times meydanina cok yakin. Yeri avantajli. Ancak rezalet. Odalar ve esyalar inanilmaz eski. Kalorifer calismadigi icin ilk gece donduk. 4 kere oda degistirdik. En sonunda biraz daha yenicene bir oda verdiler. Onun da dusu bozuktu. Banyolari da korkunc eskiydi. Cogu odanin manzarasi yok. Duvarlara bakiyor pencereler. Manzarasi olan odslar da karsidaki […] binaya bakiyor. Kesinlikle tavsiye etmiyorum ve cok uzgunum bu oteli tercih ettigim icin. Devamı

We all loved the location of the hotel. It's just around the corner from Times Square. Service was terrific. There is a nice store to buy anything you needed right by the hotel. We (all 8 of us) definitely will stay there again.

I had called and requested (and paid) for champagne to be chilling in room when we arrived. I had also requested a renovated room. When we arrived, we were put into an old room (not renovated) and they didn't have the champagne. I contacted customer service and they offered to move us ... which we did. After a couple of hours, they brought up a bottle […] of champagne and told me it was without charge. Started out bad but ended well. We absolutely loved the location of this hotel. It is smack dab in the middle of the theater district. Two blocks either way got us to all of our broadway shows. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We especially liked the security check to get to the elevators. For a few extra dollars the hotel could add room darkening drapes to the windows. […] Our room faced East and we were awakened rather early by the sun. We also would have loved a coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator. We had to leave our leftovers at the many fine restaurant row places we went to eat. Restaurant row is only a block away. We could have used more electric outlets to charge our phones and tablets each day. We had to unplug the lamps.Also the bed was too hard and could have used a cushier mattress pad. The bathroom could use more hooks at a lower level for short people. All in all, we had a great stay and recommend it! Devamı

Initially we were on the 4th floor and had some very loud noises coming from pipes. When we reported it, the head of security arrived very promptly and summoned engineers to fix the problem. We encountered about 8 staff members and only one was less than great. Perhaps he was having a bad day.. We go to NYC for theatre. The Edison is located steps from most Broadway Theatres. I have always found the staff friendly and helpful. The hotel is fairly priced for the room and location. Housekeeping was excellent. The one negative was the location of the ice machine being only on floor 2.

Easy access to everything....theater, metro, midtown sights. Very close to Tines Square yet still a place to rest (in other words, not too noisy for the heart of NYC)

We would not have stayed if we could not have upgraded our initially booked room to a signature room. Initial room too small bathroom impossibly small. No refrigerator in summer not good! Staff were great, especially Ronaldo at front office, helped with upgrade.

We enjoyed our stay at the Edison as the location to Broadway Shows & Times Square are less than a block away. We booked a Signature Room which is an updated one, and we would recommend these rooms as they are very nice. We stayed on the 20th floor which kept noise to a minimum. The hotel staff were very nice. There is a diner in the hotel that was […] great for breakfast with very reasonable prices. very pleasant stay. Hotel appeared to be kept clean and no apparent maintenance work currently visible in the fast paced location. Curbside staff very helpful in getting taxis and suggesting alternatives

We loved that the Edison was clean, comfy and very close to Times Square. We particularly loved that it was on Seinfeld in the version where George was robbed by the woman he met on the train !

Staff could not have been more pleasant and efficient. Not typical NY. Only problem was that the elevators were very slow. Cafe in hotel very old fashioned but the food was fine for lunch. Hotel staff was very friendly, courteous and helpful. Room was "cozy" but quite adequate. Housekeeping was prompt. Very easy access to theater district, Grey Line tours, subway; plenty of local restaurants within walking distance. Monday night impromptu jazz at The Rum Room was spectacular!

Rooms were more dated then expected and compared to pictures shown on website but still decent for the price. bigger rooms then expected too which was nice. Awesome location! Would stay again to save some money

Stayed in the Edison for one night & found the experience only okay. I had stayed there before 2 years ago and the location was perfect & room suitable for a short stay. Unfortunately this time I would question how clean the rooms are as had a reaction to the bed sheets which made me vey itchy. Park elsewhere instead of the hotel's $60.00 a night. I am a Young Veteran visiting for Memorial Day, booked a room on a high floor and ended up on the 5th, lady at front desk could care less. Rooms extremely small and unkempt.Victor at the front desk was awesome.

I was pleased with our stay at The Edison. Although the room was definitely on the shabby side (I didn't choose to upgrade to the more expensive, renovated room), it was clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable, the room and bathroom were VERY small but fine for a few days. The photos on the website and here at Hotel.com are not accurate in […] any way to the room that we stayed in - they appear much larger and nicer than they are in reality but I definitely recommend the hotel if you're OK with less than perfect and want to be close to Times Square and the Theater District. The location can't be beat! The room was TINY - hard for two of us to move around in when we got ready, for example. But, we certainly managed fine. We had to go buy an extension cord to be able to plug in both of our phones and other items as there was ONE available plug in the entire room. Not very good in today's era of cell phones and similar accessories needing to be powered up. The staff was very friendly and helpful every time we needed something. It was quiet every night except one when a large group walked by our room at 2 a.m. being very loud (it sounded as if they may have been drinking?) . Otherwise, no problems with noise. Overall, very happy with our stay. Given the location and the price, I definitely recommend the hotel and would book a room there again in a heartbeat. Devamı

The only complaint that I have is that initially the bathtub drain was clogged and the shower was not draining. I called Maintenance and they were there within about 30 mins. Drain was fixed promptly! The location was excellent and the staff was courteous and helpful. All in all we had a great trip. Love NYC!

We had been warned that rooms in times square were very small. The bathroom was small, but the adequate. And the room was VERY comfortable. It was easy walking distance to all the theaters, and we enjoyed the experience of being in the heart of the theatre district.

We were PLEASANTLY surprised with the Edison Hotel. It didnt look like much from the outside (which is literally a 30 second walk from Times Square-47th & Broadway. Beautiful floors, ceilings, classic looks. Very clean. Hotel security asks to see your room key before you take elevators to go up to the rooms-I like that! The toom was wonderful! Queit, […] clean, spacious! The bathroom was a little small, but really, its NYC. The location for the price was absolutely incredible. The little cafe next door is VERY reasonably priced and FAST service! I will want to stay at this hotel from now on. Devamı

My room had been remodeled, so it was very nice and clean. The bathroom was very small, but most hotels in the city are the same. The staff is always very nice, and I was able to get an early check-in. It is a nice security feature to prove you have a key before you can enter the elevators. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends.

Overall our stay was great, with one exception. We had to change rooms upon arrival because of a faulty ac, it was 1AM. Relocated to a newly remodeled handicap room. This concept did not work well for us. The shower/toilet/sink all exposed after a shower the entire bathroom was wet. Also we would have loved to have a coffee pot in the room, although […] they have a restaurant downstairs. The breakfast at the restaurant was very good and fast. Grumpy to go order person. When a hotel is priced over $200 a night, there should be some pleasure in staying at a hotel. There wasn,t at the Edison. Probably remodeled from a run down building, traces of mold, chipped paint, scratched furniture were apparent. Rooms were small, bathrooms smaller. The best about this hotel is location. 1/2 block from times square. Within 2-3 blocks of most broadway shows. Multiple tour companies available either on the srreet or concierge can help. Rooms are a little worn and older but not uncomfortable. They do have some rooms that you can upgrade to which from pictures looks really nice and newer. The Edison is a study in contrasts. The hotel is wonderfully located next to Time Square. Easily within walking distance of theaters, restaurants and prime shopping. There is also a nice cafe co-located with the hotel. This was all good since I was on crutches and covering long distances was difficult and tiring. The staff was very friendly and helpful […] and the lobby was clean and inviting. However the rooms were not all that great. The bed was very soft and left both my wife and I with sore backs in the morning. There was neither a refrigerator or coffee service in the room and the TV could only be seen from one of the two beds. The water in the shower never got very hot and there was not enough shelf space in the bathroom for my wife's make-up kit. Devamı

We got a horrible room with a tiny bathroom and terrible beds. The air-condition did not work so we had to leave the window open - Noisy! Staff is not even interested in helping you out and it´s highly overpriced - but it´s right next to Times Square. So the only reason for staying here is location, location, location...

The room and bathrooom were very small and did not look like the picture at all. Had some questionable wiring. The bathroom towels were almost unreachable and it was the size of a small closet. For the price, not good.

Refurbished hotel with nice, clean rooms. The only downer was that the elevators are sometimes slow, but that's a small price to pay for the great location.

The room was not as shown in the pics. The furnishings were run down and out of date. The bathroom was way out of date an old, bath tub had rusted drain. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. All though if you include the Hotel Cafe, they need to work on there customer sevices skills.

The Edison was perfect for us, a place to sleep. We had 3 Yankees games to go too and just site see. The location fit us perfectly and for somewhere to lay our head down to rest for the next day adventures. We will be back in the Fall and this is where we are staying.
