A nice, little hotel with a nice, little room. Though the room was small it was well laid out so it never felt cramped. There was a nice little desk good enough for a laptop and a sizable wardrobe containing ironing board, dresser, coffee maker, hanging rack, etc. The free wi-fi was a big plus, as was the overall price. Good Hotel to stay in London. It is not in a great location but you are just 3 minutes away from the tube station. Staff was very friendly and we have a good time staying at this hotel. I would definitelly will stay again when coming back to London.

My partner and I stayed for 3 nights over the Christmas holiday whilst visiting family in Putney. A very warm welcome on arrival from the receptionist and speedy check in despite our having turned up an hour or so early. Unfortunately the hotel does not have a lift and we then had to climb 4 flights of stairs with luggage, Christmas presents etc. To […] our disappointment, despite having requested a non-smoking room, we were allocated a smoking room. Fortunately there was barely any odour, but as the majority of rooms are non-smoking, this was really not acceptable. The room (Executive) was reasonably spacious and very clean and warm, as was the bathroom with a powerful shower over a bath. We were at the back of the hotel which was nice and quiet. Unfortunately our breakfast on Christmas morning was appalling. All the food containers were practically empty and what remained was cold and dried up. (We were not late nor in the middle of a rush) I would not consider this breakfast good value or acceptable in terms of quality for even half the £12.50 per person they charge. Needless to say we did not bother for the next 2 mornings of our stay. I mentioned our experience to the receptionist when we checked out and she apologised and expressed surprise. There was no offer of a refund or a reduction in our bill. Despite the grouses, we probably would stay again if it was convenient for our purpose. Well located, nice, train station nearby, at just few stations to Wimbledon. Very reasonable price. Restaurant only for breakfast, but room service available up to 10 pm

I have stayed at this hotel several times before; I used to live in Putney, so know the area well. The hotel is always friendly and comfortable, and the rooms clean. My only problem this time was that we had to climb so mnay stairs to get to our roon! Next time, I will ask for a room on one of the lower floors!

this hotel has rooms of incredibly variable standard. i've stayed a few times now, and all the rooms are impeccably clean and well turned out. the water pressure is variable at best. however, when i did complain about the standard of my room, they were helpful moved me to a better room. i understand they are undergoing some refurbishment, and I hope […] they're putting in aircondition units in some of the warmer room. Excellent hotel: friendly staff, huge room which was in superb condition and state of cleanliness. About 5 mins walk from East Putney Underground. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Only stayed for one night, and didn't sample breakfast or dinner, but the staff at this hotel were very friendly and helpful. The hotel room was very clean, comfortable, nicely decorated (if a little lacking in character) but it was a little small, right at the top of a narrow flight of stairs and there was no view at all (the window was about 1 foot […] from the parapet around the roof all I could see was wall). The lodge hotel is a small,cute and comfortable hotel.It was quiet for resting and the location was near many stores,not too far from an unndergroud station. The staff were friendly and always available.

5 minute walk from District line, 10 minute walk to Putney rail station and a bus to Clapham Junction at the front door. The combo of those will get you anywhere in London.

It is an interesting mix of old style architecture and new building. The room I had was an attic room so it had awkward angles. Also it had no air conditioning, which could be a problem in the summer. It had lovely furnishings and the stall is pleasant, but not extremely friendly. They were a little off putting. Ice seems to be a premium at this hotel […] and there are no wash cloths and only one hand towel, so this could be improved upon. Lovely hotel very near the tube, clean modern and quiet. The room was comfortable and the only hotel bed I've slept in that didn't give me a bad back! The only downside was the double bed was 2 beds pushed together which if your a hugger can be a bit irritating. Nice on outside but noise let it down. Avoid room 66! Woken up by noise from bedroom above and by side on both nights/early mornings. Plus room backed onto kitchen access and outside door to annex. Convenient for East Putney tube. free Wi Fi and parking so can't complain about that however, hotel cannot justify price per night that I paid. Premier […] Inn just down the road is much better even though you have to pay parking and internet access. Devamı

Although situated on a main road we found the Lodge Hotel to be extremely peaceful. With East Putney station a short walk away and Southfields (the station nearest to WimbledonTennis Club) just one stop down the line it is ideal for anyone going to Wimbledon. The hotel is very clean and the staff friendly and helpful.

This was our 'once in a lifetime' 24hr trip to Wimbledon and we couldn't have asked for a better location or a more comfortable hotel. The staff on arrival were friendly and helpful, looking after our bags for the day until we would return from the tennis that evening. We arrived into Victoria Station off the Gatwick Express that morning, caught the […] District Line to East Putney and the hotel was a 3min walk along the same road as the Tube. After freshening up and leaving bags, we jumped back on the tube for one more stop to Southfields and then you could either walk to the grounds (15min) or catch the special Wimbledon Bus (£2). We arrived at 11am for a hassle free day of tennis, strawberries and Pimms... If we ever get the chance to return to Winbledon, we'll definitely be booking the Lodge! Devamı

Upon entering the room after check-in, I noticed hair all over the beds. I immediately complained and they came to change the linen. The shower drain was clogged and it took 4 separate complaints over a period of 3 days for them to resolve the issue. Each time they said that it was taken care of - but only after I insisted that it needs to be fixed […] NOW, they finally sent someone who resolved the issue. Some (not all) of the reception attendants were rude and rather unfriendly attitude. There is no AC - the room is quite small - TV was tiny and my room was noisy due to people going up and down the stairs. The hotel is a 5-minute walk to the District line (London Underground) - but the District line is closed at times and caused massive headache for my commute into London! I have stayed in many hotels around the world - probably the worst one for the price I paid - definitely not worth staying here! Devamı

Originally picked this hotel based on convenience to Putney, and were pleasanly surprised by how good it was when we arrived. Service at reception was very efficient, parking was free and plentiful and the room was fantastic. Perfectly clean, nice size and very tastefully done out. Our 3rd visit to the hotel because it is close to where our daughter is living. We love the area, so much is in easy reach. There are good restaurants within quarter of a mile,as is underground station.The river walks and parks also close by.Good shopping in Putney high street if required.Although the rooms are small they contain all we need for an […] overnight stay.They are always very clean and well maintained. Bar area not very well designed but I doubt there is much trade to be had. We have not eaten in the hotel so cannot comment, but the easy access to more interesting venues means we dont have to. It's some 8-10min by foot from the underground. Not extremely far but something to consider when you carry luggage. The room and bath were recently refurbished and for London comparatively ok. I usually do sleep very good and tight. But the thin walls made it recognisable that people where alive @2am while others showered @6am. Other rooms may be more […] convenient in noise. The hotel surprised me. The location is perfect who wants to use underground and trais in London. Surprisly the neighborhood offers restaurants and grocerystores. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The staff was friendly and could not help that the fire alarm went off five times Sunday morning due to some technical problem. For travelers sensitive to noise the busy traffic including double decker busstop in fromt of the Hotel is pretty disturbing, but this must be a frequent issue in London Hotels.

Waren im Familienzimmer im obersten Stock untergebracht. Alles sehr sauber und ordentlich. Das Zimmer war recht hellhörig. Zur U-Bahn 4 Min zu Fuß. Von dort ca. 15-20 Min ins Zentrum.

Hotel au calme pres de Richmond (wimbledon), a 25 mn de trajet en metro du centre ville. Hotel tres agreable, chambre familiale confortable, avec de vrais lits pour les enfants. Petit dej simple mais bien, dans une véranda avec vue sur un petit jardin et des ecureuils.

Leider war der Griff bei dem einen Fenster nur mehr sehr lose am Rahmen befestigt und nach dem zweiten Mal öffnen hatten wir ihn in der Hand. Mit nur mehr einem Griff war das Fenster nicht mehr wirklich dicht und es hat gezogen. Die Badewanne war direkt unter einer Dachschräge, dh das Duschen war eine akrobatische Übung in der Früh. Hyggelig, rolig gate i typisk London forstad. Gammelt hus som er modernisert med bra arkitektur. Hyggelig frokostsal i "havestue" . God engelsk frokost. Relativt enkelt med Metro til sentrum av London

angenehme lage auch für alleinreisende, versorgungsmöglichkeiten aller art fußläufig, U-Bahn (District Line) gerade noch in der Zone 1+2; guter zimmerservice, nicht überteuert; ruhig; freundliches und hilfsbereites personal; erholsame atmosphäre, recht große zimmer. ich habe recht kurzfristig gebucht, hatte ein zimmer ohne frischluftzugang (nicht zu […] öffnende lichtkuppeln) - zimmertausch war möglich, aber dann landete ich in einem zimmer, vor dem der klimaanlagenausgang des gesamten hotels brummte. trotzdem: alles in allem ein guter aufenthalt. Hotellet er helt greit med 300 meter til tuben er det ikke noe problem å komme seg inn til sentrum. Området rundt er ikke mye å skryte av , men det er jo ikke derfor en reiser til London.
